Village 1373

I moved here from NJ in June & everything started out great but quickly went downhill. We have been here all of 4 months and every single month had to request a pest service. We are no longer comfortable having friends or family over, cooking in the kitchen, & just sitting around in bed. I have a 2 month old who I have to wake up and take out of his bed due to roaches climbing in his bassinet. I have requested to speak to a supervisor twice & that has yet to happen. I’ve never in my life had any bug issue we clean everyday so I’m definitely not dirty. It’s completely unsafe for me to have to put my newborn in the bed with me, which is a safety hazard due to having bugs in his bassinet. I’m convinced the company they use must be spraying water or they aren’t servicing the entire building. We are coming out of pocket to buy our own traps and poison every single week. It’s very very dirty and very annoying. I’m supposed to live here and have a home but i can’t even be comfortable in it. Literally have to walk around the house every time with shoes on. Definitely has me thinking about going back NJ simply because they actually solved issues.

Village 1373 has made my apartment hunt so so so easy! They answered all my questions, replied quickly and they are super nice AND affordable! If you ever want to apply, find Linsey or Jassminn as they were attentive, so sweet and listened to what I had to say and wanted! Thank you guys so much!!!

The entire grounds are kept neat and clean. Staff is very friendly. Love it here. The neighbors are nice. The fitness center is awesome. Love it

Great neighborhood!!! The experience here thus far has been, calm, peaceful and quite. My children enjoy the atmosphere, the scenery, especially the waterfall.

Great place to live quiet peaceful enjoyment after a hard nights work. Staff is friendly and very professional spacious apartment couldn't ask for a better community

So far it has been great. Very quiet lots of room love the new appliances and the split floor plan. Bathrooms are very large. The hot water is awesome.

I enjoy the peacefulness here. The laundry room and gym is awesome. The staff is polite. Maintenance is the bomb. They are quick with responding back in a timely fashion

When I first moved in, they were very helpful in an office, and I appreciated it because I am in College, and throughout my journey in college being able to talk to the office, when needed, and have things repaired in a timely manner, has been the most enjoyable part about living here I’ve been here for approximately four years

This are nice quite apartments I love it here the staff are wonderful. Been here a month now everything works everything was new when I moved in

Everything has been great here other than someone remodeling floors above us one early morning, also not to mention we still haven’t had pest control come even though we’ve requested it multiple times.

I love the coziness of my apartment, the quietness of the neighborhood and the friendly neighbors. The view of the lake from my bedroom terrace is amazing

This is my first apartment experience and while I am very appreciative to have one, I have not been a fan of the lack of communication, diligence and initiative here. The pest control doesn’t keep away pests, the maintenance people are nice but disorganized & management will literally run you around in circles if you let them.

This is a very peaceful community to live. You can always get assistance in a timely manner. Love the relaxing natural environment. Gym hour need to be longer.

My experience has been wonderful, the staff are always nice and available when I need them. Maintenance is outstanding very fast service every time I put in a order. Some nice person always licks my trash up off my patio which I appreciate dearly. It’s been a wonderful experience living here so far.

My experience living here has been good. My neighbors are friendly, and when I need something done. They are on it. I appreciate that. They have put cameras up. That helps a lot, especially to keep nonsense away

I love my new home. The staff here is superior and welcoming to all. They helped me with the request that was made very promptly. The geese are everywhere but they are our sky neighbors...??

Only 4 because my air conditioner wasn’t working when I moved in. But other than that the place isn’t that bad nice & calm around here just sucks my air don’t work

The staff was pleasant to do business with and the amenities offered are awesome as well. Can't forget to mention the upgrades done to the apartments are gorgeous and affordable. An all around great experience.

Overall it’s a good neighborhood. I like the improvements that are being made. The property owner changes & management turnover rate has created some confusion over the years. Communication is hopefully getting better with the new management team under the current company. The management team is more accessible to tenants now, which is a nice change. Versus previously tenants would always go to voicemail without a return call.

Nice, clean and pretty quiet most of the time. Would recommend to anyone looking for a home. The area is very close to shopping and restaurants if you don’t want to travel too far from home.

Since the latest management I have seen better phone answering, fast problem solving, faster responses from maintenance, home improvement, and an increase in rent but my rent always increases. They actually got the renovation units completed even though I can’t afford the upgrade anymore. I never had an issue with any policy such as grills only how the message is delivered and if it’s within the guidelines or if the messenger is just trying to avoid potential conflict later. That policy is not a difficult policy, it mentions no fires near the building within a reasonable feet. Yet, previous management messengers seemed to think that a piece of metal that is not electric but a traditional mini grill, that is cleaned and stored in the corner of my kitchen without any coal or wood inside and/ or burning inside is a violation and I deserved numerous warning. My concern was quickly resolved when I contacted the office. Hopefully it stays that way for as long as I’m a resident.

Amazing staff! Easy and quick move in! The new staffing is great and they keep you up to date on everything going on in the neighborhood. It’s a great place to stay.

Enjoy the fact that the minute you put a maintenance request they come within the hour. On top of that this place is kid friendly and pet friendly.

The Apartment Complex is really really lovely , favorite place for me and the kids is the pool. They love collecting the feathers from the ducks.

The people on top of me very inconsiderate no consideration at all always after quiet hrs And early mornings they don’t care if u make a complaint I have try to speak with them they say it a lie that it is other ppl there no way

I have been here for only 5 months, and I feel like my family and I have been thrown in this apartment. Meaning, this apartment was not fixed up to its full capabilities. I’ve been dealing with an old a/c unit that works when it wants. And still waiting on the termite people to come out to fill up these holes from when we first moved in and dealt with termites. Not to mention we didn’t have water for the first couple of days.

I love it here the maintenance is on point The are is clean mostly good people who live here the staff is always friendly Only thing I don’t like is tow policy for cars

I’ve been waiting for a few fixes to my apartment but otherwise I have no complaints. The older management was horrendous but the new company is kinda better except they tow cars when the only issue is the registration needing to be done

The apartments are nice and I love the area and I love that we have a laundry inside a pool and a fitness center and the landlords are very nice and respect

Not bad at all. Some issues that need to be exaplained more in depth. The office staff seems to be pretty nice and getting things done in a timely fashion. I would suggest this community to family and friends

The current management is by far the best that we have had in the last 4 years. They have been great about getting repairs done that some have been waiting for since move in. One downside for us is the rent increase when my apartment has not been updated like all the apartments around me.

Great management team! They’re really trying to change things in this neighborhood. I have an renovated 3 bedroom and I love it for the most part. I have loud neighbors that play music all time of night other then them it’s a pleasure living here

I love the environment it’s really quiet and I’ve been here a year And only had to call maintenance once. It’s way better than where I use to live

The community itself is not bad. It's fairly quiet and the people I have met have been nothing but friendly and polite. The highlight of living here has been the maintenance crew. They are incredible. You put in an issue (that they are allowed to fix) and they go above and beyond to fix it. They come in no more than 24 hours after you've reported the issue to come fix it. As for the office staff, they're nice but I've been trying to get issues fixed that I put in my room report form (the room condition form you fill out when you move in) and while some of the issues were fixed, (lazily but fixed nonetheless) others still haven't been addressed and it's beyond annoying. They don't actually do anything to help. They defer to others or explain that they don't have direct contact with people that are in charge of fixing said issues. Pretty good with answering the phone. TLDR: not bad but not great. 200/10 maintenance staff. 4/10 office staff. community overall is ok.

I have been living here for almost a year now and I only had one problem. Once I brought it up to the staff they took care of it immediately. I will recommend them to everybody if I could.

I’ve been staying at village 1373 for two years now. I haven’t had any complications my whole time being here. The staff is friendly and very understanding. I highly recommend this as a affordable and safe place to reside.

Since new management has taken over the property has taken a turn for better. They have added alot to the complex and I especially love the security cameras. I would like to see a park added for the kids though. Maintenance is A rated as well and comes to fix any issues with urgency.

Quick response to maintenance issues. Neat and clean environment, their maintenance and the house keepers are doing great job. Good customer service.

My experience was been good so far!! I enjoy taking my dog to the dog park and love the renovation!! If things continue to go well by lease renewal, I’ll stay another year!

Staff is not very friendly, you have to be rude to get anything done because they are rude to you. Maintenance is amazing though, so friendly and really care about their job. It’s a good starter apartment but nothing long term in my opinion.

Overall, my experience at Village 1373 has been more positive since the new management company has taken over. There are still things they are working to improve, but overall I am pleased with the area. Maintenance is really good as well. Anytime I have had an issue, they have solved it within 72 hours (including replacing my stove.)

I just moved in a couple days ago, and I just have to say this place is amazing! My apartment is beautiful! And the staff is sooo friendly!! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Zero experience, have been living in this apartment for eleven years and I have been complaining about my carpet for over three years, they refuse to do anything about it up till now. And they keep increasing the rent.

I have been living in the resident for 11 years and no maintenance. What I mean by that is we have been asking to change the carpet they never did and they increasing the rent
