Nestled off of I-80 in southwestern Wyoming, Rock Springs is a charming town with a rich western history. Nicknamed the City of 56 Nationalities, Rock Springs was home to a diverse array of immigrants from 56 nations who came to the city to work in the Union Pacific coal mines during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Legendary outlaw Butch Cassidy acquired the name “Butch” while working as a butcher in Rock Springs.
Historic Downtown Rock Springs is the cultural center of the community, offering a slew of tasty eateries, lively bars, and independent shops in well-preserved buildings. Residents enjoy a bevy of recreational activities at Bunning Park, Centennial Park, O’Farrell Park, and nearby Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Numerous apartments and houses are available for rent in Rock Springs, affording residents plenty of options to choose from.

My husband and I were tenants at this apartment complex from April to July of 2023. During our stay, the amenities left a lot to be desired— especially considering the exorbitant monthly charge. The laundry room never had more than two functioning washing machines (for the entire complex) and about as many functioning dryers. The pool and hot tub were closed for the majority of the season they should have been open. I had to wait 30 days for them to fix a dishwasher that was broken the day I moved in. And now, 3 months after being given my forwarding address, I have yet to see a dime from our apartment deposit. This is after repeatedly and respectfully contacting the office. We left the apartment cleaner than we found it and were never late on rent. I wouldn’t recommend anyone living here. -Aryn Clouse

We appreciate your feedback regarding your experience at our community and we apologize if you feel it could have been better. We value our tenant's opinions and apologize for any inconveniences we may have caused. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I would suggest you live in another apartments. We live there for 3 years fixed everything and clean everything before we left. Waited 3 months get our refund back. They don’t give you a refund back. They charge you for stove plates you just put new ones in but they were.bad charge for that. Painting and carpet that they do anyway. They said we owe them money because they had to fix things up. Don’t live there if you v an find another place.

We would love the opportunity to try to help resolve your concerns, as well as provide an explanation behind the charges.
I've lived in my apartment almost 2 years, and for the most part, it's not bad. I moved in because it was a smoke free environment and no smoking was permitted on the grounds. At the time I moved in, I was trying to quit smoking, so I told myself this place will be great because I'd have to walk off the property to smoke. (I quit in a month). Now people are smoking from their patios and the no smoking isn't enforced. It's come to a point where I can't crack my windows open, even at night because cigar and cigarette smoke comes into my apartment. Even with the windows closed, it comes in from the vents (dryer &ac). I complained and I was told there's nothing they could do. They said I'd have to confront the tenant's myself, which makes me a target. For example, people leaving cigarette butts in front of my door and flipped onto my patio. I hate being a complainer, but if smoke bothers you, save yourself the time and rent elsewhere.
I've lived here almost 2 years and I've never complained. But it's gotten so bad that I have to warn other people about this. I'm a former smoker and I understand people smoking. The problem is that it used to be a smoke free facility. Now you can smoke on your patio and it doesn't matter. We aren't even allowed to BBQ on our patio's!!! But cigar and cigarettes are just fine. You can't open your windows and even keeping them shut, smoke comes in through the vents. If that doesn't bother you, then this is a great place to live.
I've lived here for 2 years and I just renewed my lease! Its a beautiful apartment complex, I love the pool and the office ladies are always very nice and helpful.
This is a great place to live - spacious units, great amenities, friendly staff and overall a nice place to live. I would recommend this community to anyone.
I have lived here for a little over 6 years and I have really enjoyed it here. Office staff is always friendly and maintenance has been great with fixing anything in my apartment for me. I would recommend this place to anyone!
The pricing on these are apartments are great for around here, so if that's your 1st priority then these will work just fine. The staff is very friendly and they try their best to keep everyone happy. However, the number of problems we have had since day 1 are ridiculous. These apartments are practically falling apart and the maintenance men do as little work and as cheap as they can to fix things. If you can afford to go to The Preserves I highly recommend it. We moved here to save money, but living here has been too much of a hassle. We've had bugs, water damage, mold.. the list goes on.
Rude management, rude maintenance, rude staff. Things are never fixed, takes staff months to fix things or attempt to fix things. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here unless you want stress, money put into nothing and bogus fines, claims and hateful, rudeness on a daily basis.
Rent was never the same.. Parking is a joke... Noise isn't bad lucky I had good neighbors... Staff isn't the greatest.. apparently they didn't get everything when we signed the lease but after 4 months of being there they asked for it. NOT ORGANIZED what so ever....
This place is awful. I lived there for over a year. There is no insulation between apartments. You can hear the neighbors talking! When I moved out they charged $160 to "clean" the apartment. I spent 2 days cleaning it and they still said that it was dirty. The "professional" cleaner charges $30/per hour to clean! It took 5hrs to clean a 900 sq. foot apartment!! ARE YOU KIDDING!? I will tell everyone I know to never live here! Again its the worst!
The apartment is not nice at all, cheap appliances, thin walls, and bad staff services. Be prepared that everything is your fault, no refund, no apology, no protection for you, all you get is you are on your own. Their management system is very well protected by the contract, but there is nothing to protect costumer. Do think before you make your decision.
i've lived at these apartments for almost a year now and haven't had any kind of issues. any issues that i did have (ants) was fixed by the maintenance staff quickly. there is a little bit of a parking issue in the front but there were plenty of spaces in the back. the staff was friendly and helpful whenever i had to go into the office. overall this is a great place to live and i would definitely recommend it!
I regret the day I moved to this place, it's noisy, horrible office staff, don't expect any help from them because they won't help.
Noisy. Horrible office staff. Good luck if you need anything done or have noisy neighbors because they wont do a thing. (walls are thin too). Gym equipment is constantly broke down. I lived at The Preserve before moving to Silver ridge and it was twice as nice. I'm SO glad my time at these apartments is done!!!!
This place is seriously a JOKE! I've never known a place to where it was their job to find the littlest things to complain about and post little letters on your door stating what is and what's not acceptable. The most ridiculous complaint I got was for my Christmas decorations being up after a week past Christmas.. got told if they were not taken down immediately it would result in a fine. Also, got a letter about my boat being parked in the back for ONE night and was told if I didn't remove it that would result in a fine. Shortly after was given a gas barbeque for a house warming gift and was told that's not acceptable even though it clearly states in the lease agreement that it is if used properly. One month their computers were messing up and tried to tell me I had insufficient funds and got a notice I was going to be kicked out in 3 days if I didn't pay my rent. Spent the whole day trying to figure out the situation calling my bank and I get a simple phone call saying sorry our computers are down and your funds did go through. Residents here are also suppose to have their own parking spot assigned to them but I can't even tell you how many times someone is always parked in it. Therefore, if you enjoy coming home after a long stressful day and enjoy seeing nagging letters on your door this is the place for you! If not, then I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!!
Love the complex. They have great amenities. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
I currently live here and it is a great apartment complex quite for the most part expect for some cars. There is a couple of things they should change one is the pet policy (dog) requirements they should just let people that have a dog live in the apart with out a doctor note and have them just pay a monthly (rent fee) just like they do cats. The second thing they should really look into is people speeding in the parking lot some people just don't care. Other then that the staff is wonderful and it is a good place to live at.
The apartments are great but, they charge a 30 dollar convince fee for pay you rent online, which I think is extremely ridiculous. They need to lower the fee or get rid of it altogether. They online allow cashiers check, money order, or online payments as the only form of payments.
This is more than just an apartment complex, it feels more like a family. If you are having any issues just let them know, and its fixed. A few things about the reason it was not 100%, Perfect, more like 99%...(1) the noise, I had neighbors that would bang on the walls at 6 pm if they could hear my children. And after 11 pm and they would have there movies or music cranked up LOUD. (my kids are in bed asleep at 7:30) I felt this was rude, rude, rude. However after taking the time to introduce myself and the situation, it stopped. It was after hours and not an Emergency so it was nothing to concern the office staff with. (2) There are a LOT of children. Please SLOW down, I think the area's of green grass and the playground especially are of concern. We did our best with our children to keep them on the sidewalks, and in the grassy area's. People drive WAY too fast, personally I feel like the staff could be focusing on the speed limit. People should be slowing down and watching for Adults and Children, pets too just trying to cross the streets. *BONUS* Resident activity nights, We met some very kind people and really enjoyed ourselves at these.
My husband and I live here, and we are pleased with the quietness! The people are great, the complex is safe and clean. The staff is SUPER! My one concern is going to be the parents that allow their small children to play and ride scooters and bikes where the cars drive in the parking lot. We had to honk our horn at a young boy riding his bike the other day as he was completely unaware we were there. They should stay on the sidewalk.
