Property Ratings at Village at Westlake
These apartments are terribl. We have been over there for 10 months now and cant wait until our lease is up. Management is very slow and unprofessional. We have asked them to fix several things in the apartment, such as the dishwasher, the water pressure in the apartment, and the garbage disposal. Each time it took maintenance over a month to come fix it. The sent someone to fix our shower head in the main bathroom, they left a whole in our wall and still havent been back to fix it, do not stay here!!!
The front office is rude and not helpful especially Shay. Maintenance doesnt show up when called and is EXTREMELY LAZY!!! Over priced apartments. Not worth it!!! Trying to move asap.
The apartments are very spacious however, I would not recommend these apartments to my worst enemy. The apartment managers are very rude and unprofessional. I have a few more months in my lease and I CANNOT wait until it is up. Maintenance responds fast but there are a LOT of issues. As soon as they fix one thing, something else goes wrong. LITERALLY! No exaggeration. If you don't like a lot of insects/bugs/creatures. This is not the place for you. At night there a tons of lizards around my door/ getting in my apartment. The bullfrogs are very loud at night. I have seen multiple snakes. I would strongly suggest you to speak w/ a few neighbors before signing a lease.
I went to tour these apartments today and I can honestly say I was very impressed with everything I was sold before I even saw the apartment the lady I spoke with was very professional she answered all the questions I had before I even asked them I think I would really be happy living there it looks very peaceful and quiet and has more perks than any other apartment complex I have seen so far and I was just really wowed when I went there so I'm definitely moving here
As stated in the statement under this one the property manager is very rude and arrogant. I've been living in these apartments for four years, and have gone through three different property managers, but the one that we have now is very unprofessional. The apartments have taken a turn for the worst when it comes to upkeep they are still somewhat comfortable. There has been a couple of car burglaries and things being stolen off the patio, can't really say about apartment break ins because I keep to my self and don't conversation with to many people other then hi and bye. The pool is overcrowded with people who doesn't live here every summer evening. These apartments can still be saved if they get there management together , because we are the tenants who pay there salaries.
These apartments have gone down drastically, they're are starting to become the hood. Tenants homes, and cars are being broken into, and things are being stolen off people patios. Management is very rude and lazy, the assistant manager and the property manager just rides around attacking folks, because neither have a life outside of this place, hum I wonder why. The gym was out of service for almost an entire year,until a tenant started a petition with the residents, so actions could be taken to have new equipment replaced in the gym. Holidays are crazy because there's no need to go and rent out the club house they want to charge you 500 dollars but when you pass through there you see the property manager holding her own private gathering with her family ( pretty sure she didn't pay). I WOULD NOT recommend this place to any one who wants to live comfortable, if you are considering moving here please come and walk through and speak with some tenants before moving here, also tour the entire property. You will see the up keep of the first two buildings, but when you get to the back of the apartements you will see a difference in the upkeep.
I love where I live. They give u so much in return, breakfast, cookouts, and free giveaways such as Turkey's for Christmas an thanksgiving etc. I haven't lived in apartment for many years but this was affordable an convenient for our daughter to attend school and where shopping is a must for my wife. I'm here for the long haul. Maintenance and security were priorities for me an my expectations were met.
