Have loved my experience of living here the past couple years. Apartments are cozy but also luxury feel with updated appliances and hard wood floors. I highly recommend!

It has been pretty great living here. There are a lot of opportunities to fellowship with your neighbors. It’s in a great area, and very accessible to stores and gas stations.

Love living here!!!! Been here for 3.5 years still have a few more months to go!! Everyone has been so helpful, kamar is the best maintenance man he’s very nice and gets the job done. The supervisor of maintenance is also super nice and makes sure everything is good, amanda has been great. I recommend living here

The apartment community is amazing and offers so much for everyone and their pets. The staff are very nice and attentive. I can honestly say "this is home." It's quiet, even though it's not far from a busy highway and so convenient to every thing. The apartments are nicely updated and they have some curb appeal.

Great management team, landscaping, and maintenance team. I love my balcony and the whole apartment. Yes, the price is relatively high but competitive to the area.

The peloton bike was one of highlights of my living here, but unfortunately since they updated the community center it no longer works properly. I’ve mentioned it to the office and it never got updated. Some of the apartments are updated and are nice. I wouldn’t call them spacious, they’re average size maybe slightly larger than average. Neighbors are very friendly and it’s a safe place.

Since moving here in July everything has been great. Neighbors are all friendly, community is well maintained. Its very clean and they make it easy to find common areas. Great location and in an excellent school district. Awesome place to raise kids.

Great neighborhood set up and amenities. The gym and pool are great and there is a lot of equipment in the gym. The balcony set up off our apartment is great to be able to get time outside while living in an apartment

I love my apartment. It is a very nice community with lots of amenities. The property is very well taking care of, the office staff a very friendly and always willing to help whenever needed. The maintenance staff quickly respond to any requests entered into the portal. I would highly recommend Village at Winderemere!

I love this complex. The neighborhood is very nice, the amenities are great, and I have yet to meet an unfriendly neighbor! Not to mention the convenient location that puts us within walking distance of so many places. Definitely happy we chose the village at windermere apts.

Afternoon, I have been a resident here since 2020 - I know bad timing right! The apartment layouts are unique, updated and with some questions about each location - completey private.

I'm 52yrs old and have never rented. Have owned multiple homes and just downsized to apartment for first time while i figure out where to purchase next home. The management staff were excellent and the apartment and facilities are in a park like setting with many friendly neighbors and 4 legged friends. Location is perfect, 8 minute drive to town of West Chester and all the amenities/restaurants s you would need are close by. I have corner apartment on 2nd floor with nice deck. So far, I love this place. Was very nervous about renting but so far so good.

Ok environment, but very old with cracking extremely loud washer and dryer, the only time you can wash clothes is if you are going to leave your apartment. Worst of all awful management. Do not show care when you report issues. I had a fridge problem that did not get fixed after repeated report, resulted hundreds of dollars wasted food and smelling like a haunted rotten slaughter house after I went away and came back to face the disaster. Management refused to apologize nor compensate for my loss. I would definitely move after my renewal is up in a few months.

Good vibes, overall decent pricing for what you're getting. Pool and gym are great. Nice community with good people. Maintenance guys are good although a bit limited in their expertise.

The cost of rent has gotten out of hand over the 5 years we've been here. Yes it's nice, but nothing justifies the fee. The management and staff are great people though.

Beautiful community and have been living here since 2019. People in the community are very nice. My only concern is our apartment is older and things need to be upgraded. (Kitchen, bathroom, carpeting, etc.)

Just recently moved and absolutely love the community! Wonderful walking paths and tons of amenities. All neighbors we’ve met so far have been super kind as well! Our cats love all the nearby birds and there is PLENTY of natural light in our rooms.

Safe community, nice apartments friendly community. I enjoy living here and the front office are friendly. Neighbors are considerate. I enjoy the community gym as well.

It’s okay, a lot of problems when I first got here, they are still here, Just not as frequent. I believe that they are a lot of progress that can be made. Also, I think they should actually here their residents out and not shoot them down when there is a problem.

I’ve been living here since November of 2021 and I can’t say one negative thing! All the residents and staff are very nice and things are pretty quiet! The gym has been upgraded and I use it almost every day. Plenty of stores and the town of West Chester are within 10-15 mins of the apartment. Pet friendly and renovated apartments! Overall I really love being here and can’t think of a better place!

My girlfriend and I moved in 2 weeks before Christmas 2021 and love it so far! We moved from California and our search began in August 2021, ever since day 1 the staff has been extremely helpful. Scheduling walk throughs before our move was a breeze, they accommodated us without any issue and showed us multiple apartments to choose from. Our unit is completely remodeled with brand new everything, its perfect! We currently have a 1 bedroom unit with 2 dogs and there's plenty of space for all of us. A fireplace and a balcony was a nice bonus as well. The property is very well maintained and everyone we have been in contact with has been very kind. I would highly recommend this property.

I been living here since July 2021 and it has been nothing but great. The space is perfect for the three of us and it is very cozy. The staff has been nothing but nice since day 1 and i never felt more safe in this community!

Although it’s the middle of the Pandemic I enjoy living at the Village of Windermere. It’s a quiet community, with a gym and clubhouse to work out in. The people are friendly, and the management is easy to connect with and very helpful for what you need.

I moved here in August 2020 in the middle of the Pandemic. I am/was an active gym goer but due to the pandemic that was squashed. Fortunately summer time I could do outside activity but when I moved here I was nervous about not being to workout with the changing of the seasons. My favorite thing about this place is the peloton in the community gym. It comes as a perk with living here. You have access and can create an account as part of being a resident. I come to use it 3-5 times a week. My other two favorite things are living in the upgraded model of the apartments. I don’t mind having carpets but totally prefer hard floors as they’re easier to clean! Additionally, I love having a fireplace as well. All these things make coming home something to look forward to especially when you live alone. I’ve met people by using the peloton (that’s hard at the moment), I have cozy nights by the fire and cleaning has been so easy and I love the look! - so many perks and the staff is so friendly and Caring (definitely wanted to mention that! It’s like a family here!).

Everyone is so helpful and it truly feels like a family here. The surrounding area is kept very clean and the staff is very accommodating.

We visited over 15 other apartments in the west Chester area before finding Village at Windermere. Windermere was the best hands down! When we first came we instantly felt at home thanks to the ladies in the office. They even took a picture of my dog to welcome him into the community! Ive always wanted a fireplace and our patio is a great size to sit out and enjoy the beautiful view of the trees. The units are the perfect size not too small, not too big, perfect amount of natural light with large windows. We have been here for 7 months now and we have had zero problems. The units are in great condition and the walls are solid. Wish we found this place sooner!

I recently moved into the Village at Windermere apartments and couldn’t be happier with my decision! My friend and I joke that it’s as nice as a Disney resort with all the awesome amenities such as the peloton in the gym, the pool being newly renovated, a warm/inviting common area with wifi and computers, etc. I always feel safe, and noise is never an issue. Everything is very well-kept. When we moved in, we basically got a new place with new paint, carpeting, countertops, etc! The best part about this place, though? THE STAFF! They are the SWEETEST! Seriously so quick to respond to emails and eager to help you out.

love the Villiage at Winderme its so welcoming very spacious bedrooms, the whole sceneray outside with park for my kids and enough space to ride there bikes, they even love to use the hill behind our house when we have snowdays to go sledding which is our favorite time of the year. We love how The offices has treats and coffee for there residents , and for the holidays as well and even though we got hit with covid we do miss the holiday partys that the office has hopefully soon we can go back to normal and have them again my daughters loved them. The girls love to go walking and it so close to the shops and thats so covieant for us the wawa there the grocery store everything is walking distance . we just love living here and want to stay for many more years. Management is helpful, easy to contact and follow ups with issues quickly. Maintenance is friendly and very responsive. Well planned social events and great amenities. Good location near shopping, West Chester and Rt 202. Nice neighbors, quiet and a great place to live.

I have been at the point at Windermere for almost 4 years now. Whenever I have needed service, which is rare, it’s done very quickly and completely. The swimming pool is great and rarely crowded. There are grills for cooking out everywhere and a playground that the kids love. The grounds are kept very neat and the trees and bushes are always neatly trimmed. Most of all, the management staff are very professional and friendly and make living here that much easier. I highly recommend this place!

Our one bedroom apartment is so unique. I love the fireplace and huge round tub. It makes this place feel like a real home. So happy to live here.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. This place is WAY to over priced. And the luxury Apartments thing they say is a total lie. The sinks smell like sewage when you turn them on. Oh yeah do you get headaches easily have fun trying to enjoy your day,Because if your neighbor smokes wich they most likely do the smoke comes threw the air vents. And winter here in west Chester gets cold so turn the heat up, Oh yeah u cant because the heat feels like nothing some rooms in the apartment dont even get hot air same thing goes for a.c. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE DO NOT LIVE HERE.

The Point at Windermere has totally proven me wrong. Last year before we moved here, my thoughts of moving into an apartment were very stressful. Would apartment living be an invasion of privacy? Would we have to tolerate excessive noise from our neighbors through the walls? The thought of living on top of one another really had me nervous about signing the lease. I was so wrong! From the first time we visited last year, this complex has been nothing but amazing! Our neighbors are courteous and the community is so nice to enjoy each day. We are very content here. The outside decking and wooded surroundings have a added charm about them and we love it! Small imperfections as the buildings are older but are maintained well and if there is an issue... the maintenance staff and office are committed to correcting it in a timely manner. We have experienced nothing but positive results so far and look forward to a few more years of enjoyment here!

It's a decent place to live in the over-priced world of West Chester. However, my issue is they market themselves as "luxury apartments" but are far from it. First, the outside structure of the buildings are rundown. They're all made of wooden steps and banisters, which is gone to crap. The wood looks like it rotting and each time it rains, it gets worse. When it rains, there is massive flooding in the parking lots and in the walk-ways to get to the apartment. -A few things were outdated in my apartment went moving in. The air conditioner filter was frozen when I moved in, and then it happened in mid September. The fridge is getting old, in that it does not shut without you pressing into it. The counters are not granite, although they are advertised. Our dryer takes us THREE 70 minute cycles to dry a simple load, it's completely ridiculous and eats up our electric bill! -Our heating system sucks. Not sure if it's just mine, but even on 73, the tip of my nose is frosty!! I can't wait to see how it gets when it's even colder outside. The problem is there is absolutely nothing standing between your door and the outside environment, which brings me back to why this is NOT a luxury apartment!! Anyone can just drive into the complex and walk to your door. There are no key fobs, and the apartments are as-is buildings that stand outside, they are not housed inside a building. Avoid if you can, in my opinion it is not worth it.

I've been at the Point at Windermere for almost 2 years now and am now looking at other complexes as I received my renewal option with my rent increasing an additional ~$70 a month after already increasing ~$50 a month after my first renewal. The total ~$120 a month increase represents approximate 9.5% increase from when I initially signed 2 years ago. This of course is not limited to this complex - rent everywhere has been going up, but with the increased rent one would expect to see at least some investment in improving the community. This has not been the case at this community (at least not yet) - from a distance the community is beautiful, but when you get inside or start looking closely at the exterior the age becomes apparent (built in early 90's). Exterior woodwork rotting to the point where some of the railings don't look safe, drafty original windows that do not stay open, original sliding glass doors that are difficult to open/close, dated laminate countertops and flooring (literally pure white laminate countertops - who thought that was good idea?). All of which I can deal with, but the point is there are other communities cheaper or similarly priced with nicer finishes. I've also had problems with little daddy long leg type spiders in my apartment - which seem to infest our building every May to October - could be due to the wooded nature of the complex. I can say I've never had any problems with bugs other than the spiders - never any roaches or bedbugs or anything like that. Some positives - community is very quiet and feels safe, landscaping is generally well kept, parking is never an issue, appliances are on the newer side and work well, wood burning fireplaces. Overall not a terrible complex, but there are definitely other newer communities in the surrounding area where you can get more bang for your buck.

I love living here atthe Point at Windermere. The management and staff have been wonderful and a pleasure to work with. Theresa, Page and Helen have all gone out of their way to accomodate our needs. The working wooden fireplace is one of my favorite things about the apartment. The lay out is spacious, storage meets our needs, and it is quiet and I am not disturbed by noices from the neighboring apartments. Maintence is prompt and curtious. The complex has a nice woody feel to it and is dog friendly and family oriented. My teenager has made many friends with in the complex. The school systems surrounding the area are great. Parking is not an issue and we feel safe living here. I would recommend living here to anyone! Rosemarye Copeland

Not only will you find everyone kind and welcoming, you’ll also be grateful for their understanding of your market preference and ideals. Believe me, The Point at Windermere is the one rental search you’ll be glad you took seriously. Oh, and don’t forget to have fun!

I've been here for 2 weeks and need to write this and applaud the management and maintenance! Upon inspection I had a bullet list of small items and the SAME DAY I handed it in, maintenance was there and fixed everything within a few hours! A week later, I had another issue with the dryer and within an hour, they were fixing it! The 2 bdrm/2 bath may not be brand new, but its comfortable and feels like home already. With this kind of response, I'm sure my daughter and I will be safe and protected knowing our needs are taken care of...and THAT'S what's mostly important to us! One con is that you have to drive your trash and recycling to the main area but I'm sure we'll get used to it over time. The pros are the environment is cozy and management really seems to care about your needs with extremely fast response rates! The views are beautiful and the neighbors we've met so far are friendly and respectful. I believe this will continue to be a nice place to make our home.

These apartments are overpriced and not at all worth the premium they charge. The neighborhood next door is so much nicer than this place.
