Property Ratings at Village Court Apartments
Me and my girlfriend needed a place that was small and relatively cheap, and we found this place perfect for us. Not only is it a perfect fit for our needs but it's right on the bus line that I need for work and there were plenty of local stores and shops for us to be able to stock up on what we need! Staff has been super friendly so far and everything has been working great!
The apartments are doing so many upgrades. I love my new floors and appliances!
The ABSOLUTE WORST living experience of my life. I’ve never come across a business that gives more excuses in my life. Someone here at some point needs to take accountability seriously. The Entire time I lived here, I had mice. Once catching 7 on one trap in under 48 hours. It’s SICKEN. You have to call 10 times just to get someone to answer, or go to the office 2-3 times before it’s someone there that has atleast some idea of what to do, because none of them truly know what’s going on. They will always say, “I just started here”. And it’s true! I couldn’t tell you how many new faces are in the office, so that says something right there. My entire apartment flooded for a week, before it could be fixed, just for it to flood again 2 days later. The list can truly go on, kids play in the hallway all times of the day, and there’s always food dropped in the hallways, which has caused dead mice in the hallway. How do you guys even show people the space without them seeing mice before getting to the door? Last thing I will mention here is the parking lot, IT’S NOT SAFE. My car has been broken into, windshield cracked, and lastly a hit and run. You hear cars crashing into each other in the parking lot all the time, it’s truly something I’ve never seen/heard before. I don’t care how bad you are down or how bad you need a place to live, DON’T DO IT
If you're on a budget and have no other options, still don't pick this place. If you want to see what it's like truly, go into the building 4662, on the 1st floor turn right. Walk to the end of the hall and the door on the left is the boiler room. That is all you need to see. If I could post the pic here I would. This place is rat infested seriously and they don't care, hence the boiler room im telling you about. The appliances are new I guess that's good lol. Seriously ask any of the people you see coming out of the building if they have any mice problems and they will tell you the truth. If you get deliveries to the building and your aren't there to meet the driver your package will be stolen. The entrance way is open and anyone can walk in (why I told you go to boiler room) terrible for your safety. Random cars use the parking lot as a drive thru to get to different apartments. It is a burn down building right across the way and that's where the garbage is dumped even by the maintenance. DONT MOVE HERE.
if i could give this place 0 stars i would. i have lived here for 8 LONG months (unfortunately). as a young 1st time renter, i needed to find something affordable. i guess affordable comes with a price. i hate hate HATE this place and can not wait for the day i am able to move out. since i have been here there have been fires, bugs, drugs (dealers and people doing them), stuff not working. the list could go on and on. these people will ignore all of the maintenance requests that you put in and they do not care about their renters or their safety. i feel extremely unsafe here. again, i have been here 8 months and never have i received a key to the mailbox, so i have to send my mail to a different address. i have asked about the keys and its excuse after excuse. the day i moved in i had a woman yelling at me and throwing rocks at my uhaul. i have seen people doing meth in the stairways and have also been harassed by an addict. everything is broken as well. they do not fix anything and the renovations that they did have done before i moved in were crap. i really could go on and on but just know that this place is HORRIBLE. its an unsafe area, there are bugs, no maintenance and you cant ever get ahold of anyone. counting down the days until i can move out of here.
I recently moved in and Kim the office manager helped me every step of the way even with setting up my utilities the maintenance staff made sure my move in went smooth I look forward to my stay here.
