It’s noises no matter what floor you live in. Either your causing the noise without realizing it; or your constantly hearing the thunderous like footsteps even from the other side of the apartment! Oh yeah and someone was homicide here last year. And on top of it they want a house payment for a run down 70’s apartment with no peace. It has made our living very uneasy. All they need is some insulation or more carpeting...... something, it’s like they don’t try anymore.

These are very basic apartments that cost as much as (if not more than) other apartments in the area that have more amenities. They do not have washer/dryer hookups in the units, and the price to do laundry in the community laundry area is a bit more pricey. They are constantly turning the water off for repairs with little to no warning. They turn the heat off during the “summer months” but never turn it back on in time for when it starts to get cold. They are fairly small and way overpriced.

Dimly lit hallways greet you as you walk into the dated building. Bedrooms are extremely small - as in you can stuff a full size bed in there with just enough room to squeeze by to get to closet door. Don't even consider a queen size bed even in the 'larger' of the two North Korean cell-sized rooms. If you are considering the first floor - look out - staff won't tell you that there are no A/C's on the first floor and even on a cool Colorado day those rooms are much hotter than they should be. Staff largely non-responsive and disorganized. Avoid this property at all costs.
This is my first apartment home and I'm happy to say, I'm very pleased with it. I heard horror stories about living on your own for the first time and was terrified I was going to get myself into a sticky situation. So far everything has been fantastic. The staff was easy to work with and they want to help you where they can. The walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors if they walk around too loudly or bang things, but that's part of apartment living or so I'm told. On the weekends, it can get a little on the louder side, the kids out playing and people coming home with their car stereos up, but it settles down at a reasonable hour. The grounds are beautiful, the people are nice, and the maintenance team responds rather quickly to problems. Overall I am very happy with my experience here and look forward to living here through at least the remainder of my lease, potentially longer.

Being my first apartment, I am very pleased with the Village Green Apartments. The walls are think enough that we can't hear our neighbors, the grounds and pool are well kept, and it's in a nice part of town. The staff is also very nice and helpful. And an added bonus of being one of the few pet friendly apartments in the city. While the price seems a little high for the quality of the apartments*, it is still a very nice and safe place to live. * windows and appliances are dated, and carpet could stand to be replaced.
