My boyfriend and I have lived here for a little over a year and we love it! The apartment itself is spacious; everyone who has come to visit us always says "Wow your bedroom is huge!" Maintenance is always prompt and have fixed all of our issues ASAP. Having a washer/dryer is an absolute lifesaver. We have the turnpike in our backyard but it's mainly white noise...I used to live near Septa tracks so the noise (if any) from the trains doesn't bother me at all. Super quiet and wonderful area to live in and super close to so many places and things to do! Everyone is super friendly and Brenda is awesome to work with. We are hoping to maybe get a two bedroom soon and are definitely going to look into staying here.

Thank you very much for your kind words! We work hard to make Village Green a great place to live and we're glad it shows! We hope you'll be happy here for a long time.
I live here 10 years already. I love those older buildings with brick and concrete walls which make apartments quiet and private. Stuff is wonderful! Maintenance request are delt promptly. Maintenance guys are very friendly so is our wonderful complex leader Brenda! A little bit of noise from Septa and turnpike but not a big nuisance. We are in nice green corner with nice pool, picnic area. Easy access to turnpike! Septa Warminster line nearby! Saying it shortly it is a great place to live! P.S. During Sandy we didn't loose power not even for a second!!! Sold? :-)

There is always follow up on jobs done to make sure you are satisfied with service. Any questions you may have are answered quickly. The landscape is always beautifully groomed. Noise level is low and neighbors are very polite and helpful. The apartments have plenty of storage space which is helpful. The grounds in general are pretty. If you are looking for a small community that cares about their tenants and is reasonable close to stores highway, etc. then look no further.

We working with Christy, and she was such a big help in the whole process. If you want staff to keep open and speedy communication, look to village green! Honestly a great expirence.

Hello, Thanks for your 5/5 rating of Village Green. We appreciate your kind words. Our leasing staff is always here for you! We hope you'll be happy with us for a long time. Please let us know if you need anything!
I've lived at Village Green for about a year, and I definitely made the right decision. When I moved in, my unit had recently been remodeled. The apartment is beautiful. I really couldn't have found a nicer apartment or a better price, and it was great that all utilities (except electric) are included with my rent. The facilities are excellent; the pool is well-maintained and there's a picnic/grilling area that's perfect for having family and friends over. Brenda is the property manager, and she and the maintenance staff are always available to answer questions or help solve any problems I might have. Brenda also makes sure to organize various events for Village Green residents. The location is great- close to the turn pike, a train station, good local restaurants, and Philly. I just renewed my lease with Village Green because I love living here!

Hi ! Thanks for your 5/5 rating of Village Green. Out number one priority is our residents and we're happy it shows! We look forward to living and working with you for many years to come!
My husband and I have lived at Village Green for 10 years, and we genuinely love this apartment complex. Village Green is very well run; the maintenance team is stellar, management is responsive and attentive, and the cost for the area is quite affordable. Routine maintenance requests are responded to within a day or so; maintenance usually contacts us to let us know the request was received and when it will be worked upon/corrected. The property is routinely landscaped, in addition to the day-to-day upkeep of parking lot, lawn and dumpster areas. Housekeeping comes to clean building hallways, stairs and entryways. We rent a 2 bedroom unit with a washer and dryer. The bedrooms are quite large with good closet space; the bathroom is somewhat small, but suits the needs of 2 adults easily. I like the guaranteed parking space, and we never have an issue with finding a space for our other car. Certain portions of Hatboro, PA are prone to flooding and VG is no different; our recommendation for any new tenants to take flood warnings seriously and move your car(s) as needed. Overall, a quiet, drama-free community, and we continue to be happy with our selection.
The management will say anything to make you move in. There is mold behind the bathroom tile. The tiles in the bathroom are repainted for each new tenant. The paint then slowly flakes away. They do not replace old and ineffective appliances until you complain repeatedly. I lived in the Y building and there was a huge drug problem with one tenant. The management told us to call the police ourselves even though there were small children in building Y at risk of danger if the police confronted the drug abusers. They were having parties in the laundry room and still the management expressed their non liability to the issue. We would come home to letters instructing us that drug use was illegal per sections in our lease and drugs were reason for eviction. They never evicted the tenant. I called Scully home office and asked for anyone in charge. They treated me as if my complaints were a nuisance. They just want the rent money. Very sad. Do not live here.
I've lived at Village Green for 18 months. The office staff is friendly and responsive. I've only had one minor maintenance issue since I moved in which was taken care of in a timely manner. The property is well maintained and it is close to the train station, restaurants, and a local mall. I love that there are dedicated parking spots. There are also in ground grills which I use often during the summer. The grounds are well kept. It is close to the main street in Hatboro which offers a number of restaurants, a music school, produce junction, a place to get your nails and feet done and much more. I have not regretted my decision to move here.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We're thrilled you enjoy living at Village Green!
I raised 2 daughters, from kindergarten to HS graduation, in our 2 bedroom apt. It has 2 school bus stops, one official and one more at the end of Surrey Lane, so I could see them from the window. Very quiet, clean, well-maintained, nice pool and a little play ground, a lot of space to run around in the grass. Large picnic area next to the pool, great for holidays, birthdays, etc. Our building offers basement storage, which is great for keeping all the holiday decorations, bikes, etc. Some buildings in the pool area may get flooded so storage is out, ask for the ones that don't. Our courtyard never did. Upper Moreland swim club, with Olympic size pool, is literally in our backyard. You do need a car to get around, there're not many sidewalks except for the main Hatboro street, York rd - which has several restaurants, nail salons, ice cream and pretzels making it a nice hangout. There're carnivals on the empty lot in town, car shows on the main street, all in walking distance. R2 Warminster Line train station is nearby. By the way, it is Upper Moreland school district, library, etc - although the address is in Hatboro. The apartment is quite large, although the 2nd bedroom gets smaller as kids grow... The 2nd bedroom does not have air conditioner, so bring some fans. That is probably the only disadvantage of living here, but it's only noticeable in the summer. Maintenance is superb, from outside landscaping to fixing/replacing something broken. I cannot think of a better environment to live in.
Village Green felt like home since the day we pulled in and walked into the leasing office! From our first showing 5 years ago till now everyone has been absolutely friendly to us. There is not one problem we have had that hasn't been addressed within 24hrs, from replacing our washing machine and air conditioning with a new one that leaked a couple drops to replacing my light bulbs and fire alarms with more efficient ones. They pay attention to detail and the little things, that's what i love about this place. The master bedroom is ridiculously big and plenty of storage everywhere. The upkeep on the grounds are beautiful, the pool area is paradise, and the grilling and outdoor area very convenient. Pool parties with music and food for the residents where you can win prizes, locked bike rooms with your own key, and designated personal parking where i can come home every night no matter what time and know my parking spot is open which is a Huge perk to have! Oh and the ceilings are concrete so absolutely no upstairs noise or heavy footsteps can be heard..overall its safe, quiet, and perfect for anyone especially a small family.
We have been living here for 5 years now and we love the location. The staff are very helpful and friendly, I can't sing the praises of the maintenance team enough! Any problem no matter how small is always addressed quickly. The apartments themselves are nice and homey feeling, no major flaws in the structure or other problems that you hear in the typical renter's horror story. Overall great place for the price given the expensive area and not perfect but a solid 4/5.
I've been at Village Green for a few months, and I have nothing but positive things to say! The leasing office was beyond accommodating starting with the very first phone call and email. Things kept getting better and better when I got to the property to see my potential unit. It was completely renovated with brand new appliances and everything! There was a storage unit in the basement, and the laundry, although not in the unit, was just twenty steps out my door. Not to mention, the only utilities you need to pay for are electric and cable/internet. The heat, hot/cold water, and cooking gas are all paid for! I've been thrilled so far, and I'm looking forward to the rest of my time here.

We look forward to having you as a resident! Please let us know if there is anything we can assist you with. We're always happy to help.
It's going on my second year here and all I have to say are great things about a place I call home. 1.there's no hidden charges the only bills your required to pay are your rent and Electric which is usually low in the hot months. 2.heat,hot water and cooking gas are free ??! 3.it's peaceful and very quiet.. 4.The leasing agents are always attentive to your needs. 5.The maintenance crew always on call and usually will fix any repairs within 24 hours great crew very professional. 6.The property grounds are clean and maintained on a regular basis. 7.The builds are alway clean of debris. 8.there's assigned parking right at your front door. 9. The apartment itself is modern and very spaces and a lot of storage wall to wall closets.. 10.you have the option of having a washer and dryer in your apartment. 11.its 2 air-conditioners in the apartment and a thermostat that you can control your own heat temperatures. 12. Omg the bedrooms are huge and I have a big bedroom set and I still have a lot of extra space. My sons room have a twin bed and a bunkbed in it.. 13. You can use the pool at your leisure without paying a fee there is a picnic area this already equipped with grills and a playground for your children to be able to play safely. 14.I've been here going on two years and I have never seen a Rodent in side my home.thats a huge plus lol. 15. The community is very diverse and friendly and great place to raise children a great school district there's plenty of activities nearby to do.your close to the shopping centers. The turnpike is just like three minutes away . There's plenty of great restaurants nearby. 16. For transportation you're near the train station and bus routes nearby. 17. The rent is worth every penny as the saying goes you get what you pay for.. 18.I plan on living here for yrs.to come.
Two bedroom apt is beautiful and perfect. The office staff is very friendly.
I moved in to the Village Green Apartments in September of '05 into a one bedroom apartment with washer and dryer. I LOVE my apartment and the Village Green staff and maintenance! The location is minutes away from the main street in Hatboro, close to supermarkets and shopping, and it is easy access to the turnpike. I hadn't even bothered to look at any other complexes, I felt lucky to have found my new home here. The maintenance crew is always available, even by pager if you have an emergency, such as locking yourself out of your apartment, which I may have done once or twice. I am moving on to another city, but can assuredly recommend Village Green to anyone, whether it is for long or short term leases.
I have lived at village green apartments so far for a year and a half. I really like it. When I first moved here I was in a 1 bedroom apartment. After a few months I needed to move into a two bedroom. The community manager and leasing consultant were really helpful with getting me into a two bedroom apartment within a few months. I have only ever had minor issues since moving in, such as water pressure in the shower, heat not coming on properly, oven stopped working etc. Anytime I've have needed maintence, they always came in a timely matter and fixed the problem. The maintence guys have been very helpful ever since moving in. They even helped me with moving a couch! Overall I have had a great experience with living here
I currently moved into my apartment from previously living in a house with my husband. I looked at quite a few places before deciding on Village Green Apartments. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for me and the price is very reasonable. If I have a problem, it gets looked into at a very reasonable time frame. I wasn't sure how I would feel starting over and on a new path of life. Everyone here has been wonderful.
I love the convenience to everything (shopping, restaurants, PA turnpike, etc.). The property is well maintained and the staff gets back to you in a timely manner when you have a concern or maintenance request. There is a pool with tables and umbrellas, and a lifeguard on the weekends which is an added plus. There is tons of storage in the apartment. I love the fact that there is a dedicated parking space per apartment. Definitely should consider living here.
Village Green is a great apartment community to live in. Everyone is nice and friendly. Many of the apartments are becoming updated for new tenants, but the tenants who have lived there for a few years still need their apartments updated.
The Village Green Apartments in Hatboro, PA are in a wonderful location within walking distance to both the train and bus stations. The grounds are my favorite part of living here - there is a lot of quiet green space surrounding the buildings. Though the complex is nestled next to the turnpike, I am never bothered by the sound of traffic - in fact, I rarely notice it at all. Maintenance is always available to help. We have had some recurring problems with our plumbing, and the maintenance crew has done their best to rectify the issues. My biggest complaints are the hard water, incredibly hot second floor (we have to run the AC all summer), and the small kitchen.
They are very nice people willing to help in any way clean good space and nice area . close to town and safe
Let me start by saying this is my first apartment. Ever. During my initial apartment-hunting extravaganza, I've read all kinds of horror stories from places I was considering all around Philly and the Suburbs, so to say I was anxious about my first apartment - anywhere - is an understatement. You know how it is -- analysis paralysis and all. Finally, I pulled the trigger and moved to the Village Green. The location was perfect for what I needed -- a place mere minutes from the Turnpike, and I did some asking around with current residents beforehand who seemed happy. I opted for the 2 Bedroom with Washer and Dryer included with a roommate. The rent is a tad higher than I'd like, but all utilities are included except Electricity. I've been here for a year and a half now, and I can say it's probably the quietest, nicest area I'll find for some time. I can't really hear my neighbors at all, the only noise you can hear is from the hallway outside your front door. I'm a musician, so I make a moderate amount of noise myself, and I've yet to hear a complaint. (Or they're just being extremely polite.) ;) I've only had to call for maintenance on some very small bothers (noisy dryer that just needed some lubrication, replacement for a torn window screen) but I was amazed at how quick the turnaround was. Paying Rent online is super convenient. The Apartment complex if very close to train tracks, so you can hear an occasional SEPTA horn as it goes by, but it's muffled enough it sounds distant (from the J building, anyway). I'm a city girl, so I'm used to it, but if that bothers you, you could do much worse. :) You only get one dedicated parking spot, but there's plenty of parking alongside the main road, so it's not a problem for me. You should be aware that this location IS in a flood plain, so definitely get flood insurance just in case, but I have yet to see anything more than puddles here and there after heavy rains. One of my neighbors said the worst they've ever seen was when Hurricane Irene hit (2011), but nothing has been nearly as bad since then, and much has been renovated. Overall, I'm happy here, and would be reluctant to leave any time soon.
During the past 8 months, I have been consistently pleased with all aspects of the village Green Apartment Complex. The Layout of the apartment allows you to truly feel like you are in "your" home. It even allows enough space to entertain and socialize. The Facilities, pool, and grounds are always well kept Any service request is handled immediately. I even put in a request and explained that it was not a rush. The Maintenance personnel were in my apartment early the next morning. The Maintenance team and the office staff are extremely friendly and service oriented. It is always a pleasure to work with them. The setting of the complex allows the convenience of an apartment yet the setting of a suburban neighborhood. I expect to make this apartment my home for years!
If you would have asked me 2 years ago if I would ever be living in philly I would have said no way!, if I was asked that now, the only answer I can give would be "where else would I live besides village green" . I moved into the village green apts 2 years ago from West Virginia. The second I arrived my landlords welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I was at home, also having pool parties and other festivities to bring our community together . I promise there is no other place like this anywhere! Truly a "home sweet home"
This is the perfect place to leave , near everything. The neighborhood are awesome. It has a large area for barbecue, a perfect pool size, a playground for children and the staff are always ready to serve you......
