Property Ratings at Village Green
Multi-day water outage a couple months ago, off and on taps and toilets not working. No real explanation, or knowing when we'd have water again. Again today. Expected a bit better experience considering what they charge for rent.
I toured an apartment this past weekend. I toured unit 264 the sierra floor plan and it was infested with fleas. I sat on the carpet to look at the other units online and they all jumped on me and bit me. My body is now covered in flea bites. I informed them and they have not gotten back to me.
It's affordable, quiet, and safe. Maintenance is always quick to respond to requests - not that I've needed to call them much. The walls are nice and thick. Doesn't block all the noise, but a lot more than some apartments. It's nestled around plenty of trees so it's nice to go on short walks around, and very pet friendly.
Village Green is a great location to live at. It's quiet for the most part and clean. I haven't seen any signs of vandalism or theft in the year I've been here. People are comfortable having packages delivered to their door without the thought of someone stealing them, if that says anything. Apartments do get warm quickly, and the AC unit doesn't circulate too well, so I do encourage you to bring a portable fan for the bedrooms. Animal friendly. Parking I'll give a 9/10 because the office is very accomodating. Rent pricing is very reasonable.
Village Green is a wonderful location, about an hour from the beaches, mountains and deserts. This is a place that you can work, play and live. There are wood-finish floors, patios and balconies, open kitchens, air conditioning, split-level floor plans and walk-in closets. Four on-site laundry rooms accessible 24 hours a day. Four sparkling, refreshing swimming pools and four clean easy to use bb’q areas. Vending machines always filled with your favorite drinks. Covered, reserved parking spaces with storage for any extra belongings you need to put away. Perfectly manicured landscaping, trees and flowers with a running stream wraps around the property. There are numerous golf courses nearby. The La Habra Children's Museum. Plenty of shopping at the Simon Brea Mall & Imperial Promenade Shopping Center. A short distance from Imperial Highway and the 57 and close to highways 91 and I-5 Close to down town Fullerton, city art walk, farmers markets and a plethora of restaurants to satisfy any adventurous cravings you may have. Village Green is pet friendly. This is the perfect place to live in North Orange County.
I moved here a year and a half ago while going through divorce. The reason I moved here is because it is very safe and has security at night. The reason that I'm having to move is they raised my rent $70 last year and $100 this year and can no longer afford to live in this complex. The staff here is wonderful, especially Jody. Jody always answers the phone in a welcoming manner and when you visit the office she always has a smile for you. The maintenance staff is very good and handle your issues in a timely manner. By the way there are not very many issues. This place is very clean, and very well manicured.
This is a great apartment, that allows large dogs. It is a very quite place (once in a while a small dog yaps). Within walking distance of mayor shopping and eathing (if you're in decent shape, it's 1/4 mile). Full of trees, and close to a small creek, so you do not feel like its in a city. It has community grills close to each pool, and several laundry houses around the complex. A likable complex, I enjoy it here.
