Beloved for its proximity to both the Jersey Shore and New York City, the central region of Middlesex County sits about 40 miles southwest of Midtown Manhattan. Nearby New Brunswick, home to Rutgers University, provides access to a rich, local arts and culture hub. This neighborhood is ideal for those seeking a quiet, suburban setting not far removed from nearby entertainment and amenities. Mid- and low-rise apartment communities in the northern section of the neighborhood give way to more single-family homes fit for a variety of renters. Interstate 95 and a host of other thoroughfares make commuting around the area a breeze.

Property Ratings at Village Green Living
The organization has not responded to my tour requests or answers phone calls. Furthermore, I visited the leasing office, I did not receive any response as well. While I am interested in leasing a unit here, I am increasingly concerned about the lack of attention afforded to prospective lessees as well as current residents.
Horrible leasing and Management. Apartments are falling apart. Nothing gets fixed and they keep raising the rent more than they should.
We have been living here for two months and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. There are so many good things I can say. Ryan, Catherine, and Demetrius are all great and are so accommodating. The apartment is beautiful, the complex is quiet, and we’re so happy to call Village Green our home :)
Lived here for 6 years and am eager to move out. Over the last year or so the office staff has gotten less responsive and increasingly rude, no follow through on complaints, and the maintenance has declined. In my years here, the window to the fire escape would not stay up and was not fixed for over a year. Due to them allowing smoking inside the apartments, a neighbor's smoke has become intolerable, wafting into my apartment and absorbing into all of my belongings, causing me to get headaches, etc. Office staff again does not follow through or is unhelpful, and is rude. My heat has issues every year at the beginning of the year, and rather than replace old boilers, they just keep fixing the same issues. The most recent issue was that I believe someone hit my car in the parking lot, and upon calling the office to see if they could look at newly installed cameras, my request was met with rudeness followed by a lack of call back. Kids from local schools cut through the parking lots and have keyed residents' vehicles in the past. Parking is a nightmare when it snows, since the people who normally park on the street fill the lots and parking is not assigned. Snow removal has become poor. Laundry rooms are disgustingly filthy, and often machines aren't working, are covered in detergent, and people leave the doors open causing there to be bugs and a smell of animal urine where you're trying to do your laundry. All in all, the best things I can say about this place are that "average" things are fixed timely, and I haven't heard of insect or rodent issues, but major issues can be happening for ages before they're fixed, if ever. If you're looking for the bare minimum standard of living for the cheapest price you can unfortunately find without having roaches, this is your place. Otherwise look elsewhere, because you'll be wanting to move like I am!

Thank you for your feedback. Please call the office and ask to speak to the Property Manager regarding your concerns.
We moved in about 4 years ago and for the price we started out at the apartment was great. It is kept pretty clean and the maintenance is usually fixed right away. In the winter parking is an absolute NIGHTMARE. There isn't enough parking for 1 space per apartment and yet we can't park in the fire lanes, and they don't tell us where to park. They will tow your car if you park where you aren't supposed to. People have been letting their dogs off the leash and not cleaning up after them. There is a chance you can step on a dog bomb if you aren't careful. We have mold on our ceiling in our bathroom and the wall is falling apart in the shower underneath the shower head. The worst part though is now we have drug dealers as our neighbors. Random people high at all times of the day and night looking to buy drugs. Banging on the door screaming. They have been reported to the cops multiple times, and have had multiple complaints to the management office. It used to be safe, but not anymore. Trying to move out ASAP

We appreciate you taking the time to post a review and i am sorry that after 4 years of living with us you are not happy. Please feel free to reach out to me at kim@morgan-properties.com with your name so i may follow up with you.
Village Green is an awesome apartment complex to start out in. Major roads, grocery store, parks, mall, movie theatres, you name it and its about 10 mins from your door. The apartment itself is spacious and clean.(Never once even the slightest rodent or bug problem). Staff in the office and maintenance are friendly and available to help whenever you need.

Thank you for your kind words we are so glad you love your home.
The pipes in the wall in the bathroom rattle so loud that the bathroom sounds .like it's going to take off into space. The toilet overflows on a weekly basis, was told we should take stool softeners in order to stop the toilet from over flowing. If I had the money, . I would move me and my freak show of a family out of here.
