Substandard homes, nasty staff
Lost job unexpectedly, advised Janice in the office I would need to leave. Turned in keys, left house in better condition than when I moved in, left contact info. Expected a move-out statement that showed my loss of security deposit (of course) and any other fees owing. Instead started getting collection agency calls less than 2 months later. Just no reason to be so nasty. (While I was there, had to hound them to get things fixed from move-in. Door locks didn't even work, and had limited plumbing for the first week.)
