It just seems to get worse all the time here! The front gate is always broken, the water is shut off at a moments notice. EMAILS go unanswered.. it us always someone/ something else’s fault.. the City of Euless, the boiler room, the pool guy didn’t come. The pool seems to always be locked, no explanation no emails to explain. My Internet was out of service for 8 days, I pay the apt. for the service… no refund as it is not the apt. complex fault, go talk to Spectrum, I was told…I don’t pay Spectrum !! I used to like it here, NOT ANYMORE… So much more stuff, I can’t name them all
Just moved to Texas for a job and was looking for a place to stay and found village of Bear Creek. The leasing agent Christiana was my first point of contact when I wanted more info about the place, and she was awesome. She helped with a lot of stuff since this was my first time getting my own apartment. Furthermore my schedule at the time was very all over the place so that made it hard on finalizing the deal and signing papers but Christiana offered to stay past her closing time just to help me out. All in all the staff are great and the apartment is nice. Definitely a solid choice.
Here is my honest review. I have been patient but this place is ridiculous. I am new from out of town and decided to move to Village Green. I was super excited about this new Journey, and new apartment. Luis, the leasing agent, was friendly and kind. When I got there, I was not able to move in. They said there was a move in time which no one informed me of. I got there at 9 am and they told me the apartment wasn't ready. How? When my move-in day was today??? I was also having my furniture delivered and had to reschedule my mover. I sat in my car for about 7 hours while they got the apartment "ready". When I was finally able to see the apartment, I immediately noticed the baseboard in the kitchen was pushed back and there was a cracked tile by the fireplace. The manager, Evenly, said she would take note of it and fix it. The next day I noticed the outlets and vents were not working, the sink in the bathroom was clogged, and the bathtub and shower both ran water at the same time. All the pipes were dripping, and the thermostat did not work. I went to the office and made my complaints. Two weeks later still nothing. I had to go back into the office and the assistant manager wrote things down on a post-it and said she would send someone. About another week went by and I went back to the office and Luis was able to get someone to come fix the sink, baseboard, vents, and outlet(some are not working again). Regarding the bathtub, they said that they needed to order a part. THREE MONTHS LATER... still nothing. It's incredibly frustrating to take a shower with low pressure because the water is split between the shower and tub. Also, random charges appeared on my bill. All these random charges were different. One of them being a higher rent price than what was stated in my lease. The manager Evenly has tried to make me like she too was surprised but also that it's normal. I also reminded her my bathtub is still not fixed. Someone finally came and they fixed my sink instead of the bathtub lol. I went back to the office and she sent someone. That person came to fix it and said they needed to order the part( which was supposed to be ordered 3 months ago) and would come back Friday. None came on Friday and now the pressure is worst and apparently, now I have no hot water. I'm not asking for much. I wrote all of this to say don't move here.Theres poor management here. Things don't get fixed.
Would not recommend! It’s all smoke and mirrors. In a nutshell, poor management, constant issues with residents and units and unnecessary expenses. This was the worst rental experience imaginable. They do not honor not the prices shown on their website. The website is not accurate and the amenities were not installed as promised. They use the low prices on their website to attract applicants. Contacting the staff is nearly impossible wether over the phone or in person. This made scheduling a tour a hassle. The management staff is very unprofessional and inattentive when interacting with residents. Management promised that they will return phone calls and voicemails but they do not. Their inattentiveness became worse after we paid the application fee. Guests and residents have complained about their lack of response. The main office door remains locked to current residents and guests making it difficult to communicate with the staff. The staff is extremely rude. The property is not well maintained and smelled. Management did not provide the necessary paperwork until days before my move in date. When I tried contacting the managers, they did not return my phone calls. The day our tour was scheduled, they did not answer the phone and the office door was locked. They stated that the issue is due to them being understaffed. This was very unprofessional. The management staff seemed to be more interested in collecting fees than resolving issues. It was difficult to get in touch with the staff for two weeks. My family and I planned to move but cancelled shortly after the unit was not ready on the day promised by management. The unit did not have the amenities promised by management and the revocations were not made although they stated that they would be. I was unable to view my desired unit prior to signing the lease. The manager stated that this was due to the previous resident being nasty and owning a pet. This was a disgusting thing to say about her previous tenants. This left us with no place to stay. They did not apologize for their errors and became defensive when I inquired about additional fees. Aside from the nearby city park, the amenities are not worth the price! The pool area is out of date and so is the gym. We cancelled the move in after we noticed that these problems were persistent. They are full of excuses and blank promises. The reviews are worth reading before signing a lease.
I live in building 8 downstairs- problem is floor in unit above mine squeaks so bad to the point I can hear and know where tenant is in their unit at all times. , I can hear occupant upstairs when they walk and talk in their apartment( occupant has no clue how loud they sound especially when they are moving around). My master bath has a L shaped crack between the side and top wall on the upper right side, the beautiful wood flooring this bathroom are bulging and uneven , and whats even worse sometimes the bathroom smells like a sewer line. The whole floor above my unit needs a complete overhaul, and I live with noise, smell pollution in my unit.There is more but in conclusion apartment needs major repairs and has foundation issues. Looking forward to moving from this unit. Its a ashamed when all rent is paid on time but as a tenant I can not live comfortable in my apartment. Feels like there is no separation between my unit and the upstairs (like thin cardboard)and this is costing my sleep and very distressful. Concerned tenant
These apartments are not well kept. Theres always issues with the plumbing, trash is left around the dumpters. I would highly recommend you find another place to live. They continue to go up in rent, but theres no improvement to the apartments or the community. Its a disgrace.
I was looking for an apartment and figured I’d take a shot to see if they had any availability. The staff alone made it the best decision I could’ve made. I was guided through the process and was given frequent updates on where they were on the approval process and the renovation. On the day of my move in we hit a little snag and the manager stayed well passed office hours to insure that I made it in my unit. The apartments are beautiful; and it’s pretty quiet but like I said the staff alone made it worth it.
This is by far one of the worst complexes I've lived in. Within 2 weeks of moving in, I had issues with an AC leaking and soaking the carpet of my unit. It took daily emails on me end, and 3 different maintenance employees to realize that the leak was upstairs, not my unit. They take at MINIMUM a week to respond to even basic requests or emails. I'm counting down the days til my lease is up so I can move.
