The Delta Township is a tight-knit community only 10 minutes west of the heart of Lansing. The town is split by Interstate 69 and the western section is made up of lush natural areas while the eastern section consists of residential areas and commercial developments. Renters will find affordable apartments, townhomes, and houses available for rent.
Events bring the community together and take place throughout the year. Families and individuals enjoy peaceful parks along the Grand River, located along the northern border of town, and residents head to West Saginaw Highway (Highway 43) for a plethora of shopping and dining choices at places like Lansing Mall and the Marketplace at Delta Township. While this amenity-laden town has a lot to offer within, residents can easily travel outside of town to visit other parks and trails along with popular places like Capital Region International Airport and Downtown Lansing.

Property Ratings at Village Green of Lansing Apartments
The list of problems I've had since moving in here is a mile long. This is the by far the worst apartment I've rented in the last 10 years. My family and I are so miserable here. Make this your absolute last option and only if your desperate.

LONG BUT ACCURATE POST. I have never lived in a more disgusting and disrespectful place. They don’t care about residents at all from what I have been shown from management. The individuals with the Maintenance team are probably the only positive interactions I have had with staff living here. Don’t waste your money. This place is disgusting, hallways constantly smell, trash is left in hallways. Walls are nearly paper thing you can hear everything from the people who live above you. And if they are making any excessive noise, don’t bother asking management for help. I personally have called four or five times because of excessive noise over the past 8 months and NOTHING has been done still. Appliances are unreliable and almost impossible to get replaced. Within the first few month of living here dishwasher broke (around 3 weeks in, after 2 uses) maintenance was called out three different time before they were (from my understanding) “allowed” to replace it. Breakers constantly break or don’t work, so I had to learn how to fix them myself. Garbage disposal is an issue hasn’t been working since I moved in and still nothing has been done since I filed a report about it when I first moved in. Also with the garbage disposal it will randomly fill the sink up with the most DISGUSTING smelling bubbles. Back to management there communication absolutely sucks (if I could rate that alone it would be a zero out of ten if not lower). They pushed my move in date back without notifying me, putting me at disadvantage with movers and items already packed and ready to move in to the apartment. And there were little to no accommodations from this. Pictures you see on this are not accurate. The whole 2 bedroom apartment has 3 light fixtures including the bathroom, and very little opportunity for natural light. I had people come over and literally says “It almost is like your in a jail cell” “this looks like the most depressing place to live” and they are absolutely right.

We have been living here for the last 2 years. Maintenance people are great. They take care the problem right away. Too bad that the indoor pool has not been working since I can remember. The location is very strategic; walking distance to mall, supermarket (meijer and target), post office and it exactly next to the park. A lot of parking spot. Overall we pleased to live here.

The building is poorly maintained, the elevator is almost always broken, the tenants trash the hallways, the keys to the building don't work. Trash and expensive.

These apartments are run down, have paper thin walls and poor management. I can hear the people above me urinating! The plumbing is connected. When the people above me flush their toilet, my toilet makes a gurgling sound. The balcony’s are hazzardous and need repair. The look on the door to the main building has been broken for months allowing anyone to walk in. The hallways always smell like marijuana. The washers in the filthy laundry room are usually broken. RUN!! Avoid living here if you can!! They accept all credit so I know it’s a last resort for many.
People have large pit bull dogs, dog poo is left in grass. Security doors always broken. Staff constantly in apartment inspecting things. Recently rented clubhouse and had to clean before use, It was filthy. Went back for deposit after I cleaned and was told to take it off next months rent.
Village Green of Lansing is an awesome residence. It's close to shopping malls, a post office and grocery stores. Sits right next to beautiful Sharps Park. Very near paintball, bumper cars and video arcade. Kid and pet friendly. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness center and tennis courts. I love my home!!!
The apartments are okay, the price, not so much. The area isn't bad
