Don’t waste your time applying. They will tell you that you got approved and then you have to wait weeks for the “offer letter” just for them to say you no longer have to apartment you were promised.

Second time a golf ball hit my windshield costing me thousands. Golf course doesn’t care neither does the apartment manager.
Awful, dog poop everywhere, not kid friendly, rent will go up, electric bills are outrageous, ac unit went overboard multiple times, never any parking, very low quality, walkways are dirty, designated trash area is always over flowing and disgusting.

On my second night in my apartment I learned that I would be sharing my place with roaches. Pest Control came out twice a month and the roaches never left. I was so happy to be leaving when my lease ended. 2 months after moving out I learned that VOHC kept my deposit and sent me to collections for $300 for a water, sewage, trash and carpet changing fee. Which surprised me as I had my apartment cleaned before I moved out, I don't own a pet, I didn't spill anything and VOHC did not conduct a walk through when I moved out. I also never received any correspondence to let me know I had a balance with them. The collections agency confirmed that they also didn't have any documentation showing that VOHC notified me upon move out or anytime after that I would be responsible for new carpet. VOHC claims they sent certified mail but, no one signed for any mail. Don't rent here, these people are crooks, there is no parking, the resident portal was broken the entire time I lived there and they have a serious pest control issue.

Hello, and thank you for your review. I apologize that your move-in experience was not a positive one. We offer Pest Control on a weekly basis for all of our residents, but ask that residents call to request the service so that we can add them to the schedule. We do send certified mail to all of our residents that have moved out to the forwarding address provided by the resident. We wait at least 30 days after move out before forwarding any balance to the collection company. I am unware of our resident portal not working other than a very short period of time during a transition of ownership which notified all residents about in advance. I'm sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused, and I wish you the best of luck in your new home.
Used to love living here, happened to resign my lease but now I'm having issues with the ac. By issues I mean the ac has broken 8-10 times in the last 2 times rendering the apartment uninhabitable, preventing me from sleeping while the issue persists. I call to get it fixed and the response time is 12 hours. All I've gotten for my loss is an apology on one occasion and that's it. I refuse to take this down until the issue has been resolved or I have been compensated for my issues.

Our maintenance team works hard to fulfill all requests within 24-48 hours, but for urgent matters like a broken A/C unit they try to address it within a few hours, and our maintenance is always on call for emergencies. I apologize again for any inconvenience and hope that you give us a chance to make things right. Thank you again.
Some of the best apartments I've lived in by far, but not without issues. Pros: Secluded, but close to everything. The apartments are modern and on the newer side. Maintenance is very responsive and gets to the problems quick. Solid A/C: I keep it at 70 in the middle of August with no problems. High ceilings make the apartments feel spacious and roomy. There are a bunch of monthly events with free food and mingling for residents. Indoor basketball court, large pool, excellent hot tub, great gym. 2 min to Walmart, 4 min to Target and across the street from a QuikTrip (I LOVE QT). Cons: If you aren't paying for the covered parking or a garage, good luck finding a spot. It's great quality here, but be prepared to pay for every bit of that. It's located directly next to a military air base, so get used to jet noise every single day. The garbage compactor stinks something fierce on hot days and North Texas is HOT. They inspect individual units an awful lot- Every few weeks they visit, it's weird. Verdict: the very minor cons don't nearly come close to eclipsing a very solid core of a complex. I would love to stay here indefinitely, but as with all Fort Worth things, it's getting too expensive.
As a military spouse it is hard enough always having to move around, but when we got to Texas, Village of Hawks creek made everything simple when we were on our apartment hunt. It is great, cozy, unique look with a touch of Texas in the apartment complex. Extremely spacious floor plans to fit your own needs. Good specials, the staff is awesome and very attentive, you have everything near you, including a mall among a list of other restaurants and shopping centers. Not to mention all the fun stuff that village of Hawks creek plans for its residents, they do events every month which is awesome, you just feel at home. Very military friendly and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others especially if you're military and need something near base we have the Naval air station joint reserve base right at around 0.2 miles which is great with a huge golf course outside the apartments as well. Very clean community, staff is always cleaning around and making sure everything is in great condition, you have a gym with a basketball court as well as a pool. They're very pet friendly and don't require much rent for a pet for those who are animal lovers as myself. As a military spouse I'm glad to have chosen village of Hawks creek.
