Located in northern Ohio just south of one of Ohio’s largest cities, Cleveland, and north of another large city, Akron, is Brunswick. Brunswick is a part of Medina County and provides renters a quiet suburban escape from the much larger cities, but thanks to the interstate that runs through the city, Interstate 71, residents have easy access to the surrounding larger cities. There is plenty of opportunity for outdoor recreation due to the several parks and nature centers in Brunswick. There is also a quaint lake, Lake Brunswick, that many residents use to fish, explore, and relax.
Although Brunswick is a larger suburb, it still has a small-town feel and a community that works together. Renters will find this affordable area to have a welcoming atmosphere thanks to the supportive people that make up the community.

Property Ratings at Village on South Carpenter
I am a current resident and I have been here for two years. I can’t count on one hand how many times I’ve contacted them with no reply. Voice messages left, emails, in app messaging, no response. But when you go to the leasing office, they’re doing nothing….. I love the apartment itself but the communication is enough that I regret renewing my lease. The walls are thin and I hear everything my neighbors below me say and do….. I can hear my next door neighbors talking constantly even with my tv up. At some point my neighbor did it on purpose and I expected management to step in and correct the poor behavior as it affects ALL surrounding neighbors experience…. But they can’t do that because they don’t respond. There is a fellow who walks around and stares in peoples cars and homes. And has on many occasions approached me or my guest and made inappropriate remarks, I reached out to leasing to find a resolution, left a voicemail describing urgency, that was months ago……. No contact. I no longer feel peace or security and I feel like leasing took my money and stopped caring about my experience here. Not to mention the lack of security for packages or me reporting an animal eating at my walls with once again no response.
I really used to love living here, we loved having Ashley as our leasing agent the first couple years. It started going downhill this year when I would try to get in contact with the office multiple times and received no answers. I had to reach out to management for them to have the leasing office call me. We kept our apartment very clean, deep cleaned right before we left, primed the walls, and installed new blinds took pictures of everything in case we didn’t get our money back and of course did not get our whole deposit back. They took the majority of the money out to just walk through our apartment. The apartments smell like smoke, the walls are so thin I could hear everything happening next to us and above us. The landscapers cut our internet cord and the leasing agent told us “it happens all the time”? They never plow the parking lot in the winter. Now they’re raising their prices a ton, again I really liked living here until this year when everything went downhill after they got under new management.
I have never felt so great full at an apartment until this one, the office really cares about you and you're pets, they ask how everything is doing and if we have problems to let them know. Every problem we had was fixed IMMEDIATELY. I recommend this place to anyone. It's everything we wanted and has AMAZING space, closet, and cabinet space. We will not be moving again until we find a house. I'd give them a 100 stars if I could!
Great sized apartment and perfect location. Right off the highway and 1 mile or less from 3 grocery stores, food, etc... Small town and with in 10--15 min 2 walmarts and a mall. Great management.
I've been living here for 2 years now. It's within walking distance of restaurants and stores. The management and leasing agents are very nice and will help you in anyway possible. When I moved here, I had to get out of my apartment on short notice(I had less than a month before my lease was up). They worked with me and got me into my apartment by the time my lease was up with 1 day to spare. The neighbors are friendly and the buildings are cleaned every day. There's a pool and a small gym in the Rental office for use with a key card. I'm very happy living here until I can buy a home.
