Village Park at Barclay Square

Won’t own up for THEIR mistakes and charge you so many fees. AC doesn’t work, and they won’t bother to fix it. Neighbors constantly arguing so atleast you’ll have fun seeing them fight. Absolutely don’t recommend coming here

They never answer the phone and one time the phone was picked up and they hung up and they do not return calls. The grounds are filthy and one summer I watched a homeless man sitting under the trees scraping dirt off his legs with a knife! There is dog poop everywhere!

I moved to Barclay Square Apartments in January 2021, The place is great the area the awesome due to its location ,But most of all Management here is great and that would be Ms.Tanya G. she is always available always willing to help you in whatever issues you may have here at the apartments as well as any other questions you have for her i have never before seen a manager like Ms.Tonya to take a moment like she does and do a walk through the complex to see if things are okay .Thank You Tonya for being YOU and A GREAT Manager.

Over the years Barclay has seemed to slum down. Management makes all the difference. Great job Tanya! Us old timers here have seen the significant changes you have made to the property.

Awful services, You will be shown a show room unit and get an old ran down garbage can for an apartment. Great for weekly shootings so watch out for bullets and homeless people dumpster diving and throwing garbage everywhere and homeless people living in the walls of the apartment hall ways

The management and leasing staff at Barclay Square are an excellent team. They are friendly, professional, and efficient. Me and my partner moved to Wichita from out of town and couldn't move into our originally planned home. The Barclay Square staffed found a unit for us on the same day, and worked with us to get moved in immediately, showing great flexibility and willingness to help. I highly recommend Barclay Square.

This place is not it, location is good however the manager is horrible not personable or presents herself the way a manager should and will falsify information, the size of one bedroom is size of 1 bedroom anywhere else, walls are thin and plumbing issues always. Price is high because of area and pool however its equal to Eastborough or any other apartment complex those may even be better all around.

Maintenance very helpful, friendly neighbours, great office staff. Close to all my favorite places.

I’ve lived at this community for over a year now and it only gets better. Between the current staff and property renovations I am proud to live in this community! I would recommend barclay square to anyone looking for a great place to live.

After living at multiple local properties, I’ve realized the management at Barclay is the best! Any issues or concerns I have are addressed immediately and with compassion. This is so important considering I have 2 small children, I need to ensure everything is resolved as quickly as possible. The property manager Shauna is willing to go above and beyond whenever we need it! On top of that there are so many property improvements that have occurred recently! Beautiful property and great management why would you live anywhere else?

We lived here for 2 years and it was our very first apartment. Such an amazing experience! Staff was super sweet and Shawna the manager made sure our stay here was amazing. 10/10 would recommend! Affordable/cute and in a beautiful location!

I have been living in these apartments for 2 years now never had any complain, even though I got any problems maintanance got it covered always the same day. Nice and quite apartments with friendly neighbors, management is very awesome I like shauna she will get everything done, without any complaints. Overall great apartments to move In.

I lived at barclay square Apartments for two years and had a fantastic time! The area is peaceful and quiet; the other tenants are respectful, and nice; the landlord is prompt, and seems to really care about everyone there; and the apartments are clean, and unique. I would gladly reccomend this place to live in. Perfect for your professionals!

I lived here for 4 months. The building constantly smelled like weed. It was obviously the guy below me was dealing. Constant domestic disputes; I could always hear yelling. While I lived there a man was carjacked and shot in the middle of the day and a girl was assaulted while she was out jogging. It is cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

My family of 5 has lived here, at Barclays Square, for several years. The staff is incompetent, and the current manager, Shawna, is incredibly rude. She clearly has no training in customer service. You will have constant maintenance issues. When you ask for help, you will be told a work order has been put in. If you requested this of Shawna, it will not be done 90% of the time. If a work order is issued, be prepared for a long wait. Also, expect that your air conditioner will not cool your apartment, causing outrageous electric bills. Also, expect your AC to need to be replaced at least twice every summer, at their convenience. Which means a week at the soonest. Enjoy those 100 degree temps!! This complex is one you will want to leave ASAP. The only ones I will commend are those on the security staff. They are amazing. But do not rent here, it's not worth it. You will not save money, you will spend more than in a nicer apartment.

Nicole was so helpful and made applying for a apartment so easy, even offered me a cold drink and a snack! How sweet!!!

So I had an appointment with Nicole and she was amazing it was scorching hot today but she offered me a cold drink and walked me to the model. She was so nice. When we got back to the office it was clearly busy and she managed to take care of everyone and not make me feel like I was inconveniencing her or keeping her from doing her job. I left with my application in hand with plans to drop it off tomorrow. I'm always pleased to see when we still have people who truly enjoy what they do when it comes to any kind of customer service.

I was looking for a new place to reside and wanted to take my time doing so. I went to Barclay without high expectations but ended up putting in an application that day. Nicole was so nice she answered all my questions and made me feel like I was her number one priority. Shauna was also very nice and made me feel very welcomed. Great job ladies, keep it up????

TERRIBLE PLACE!!! Moved in with no AC for a whole week, was promised a month's worth of rent free as compensation, and then refused to give us the full month and gave only $100 back. The AC since then has stopped working over five or six times (only been here a few months). It's been 90-100 degrees on the third floor at times and emergency maintenance (and maintenance in general) is nowhere to be found. We've been treated terribly by the new staff and management. The apartments are poorly maintained, most of the staff is rude, and NOBODY picks up after their dogs. There have been incidents of people's cars being broken into and people being robbed at Barclay and the surrounding area. Half of the porch lights do not work! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU HERE!!! So disappointed with how we've been treated. Don't waste your time coming here. Can't wait to get out of this joke of a place. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They allowed my water heater to leak for over 24hrs before coming to shut off my water and leaving me with nothing for 2 days. Now my apartments smells like mold and they won't come clean the carpets which got wet when they pulled out the old water heater. Last year they left us for 2 wks with no AC! Don't waste your money here!

We had heard good things about Barclay, but now wish we'd never moved in... It all started the first day we moved in with no A/C during Memorial Day weekend. It took 5 days in upper 90 degree heat to finally get it fixed. As I write now, it's stopped working again. For the third time. They told us we'd get a month of free rent for all the trouble, but now are saying the best they could do is $100 off. Many more problems to list but only so many characters. Summary: Please don't move in here...

We recently moved in as newlyweds this is our first place together with it just being us. We love it! The management and staff is fantastic, very friendly, and willing to work with you in a timely manner. They allow pets of any size (besides pitbulls). Close to downtown at a reasonable price! Pretty quiet property. Would definitely suggest it.
