Although fairly isolated on the prairies of Kansas, Wichita is a thriving cultural and economic hub for the region, with all the energy and excitement you’d expect from a city of its size. Much of the artistic and cultural action can be found in Old Town, the former warehouse district whose refurbished historic buildings now house a collective of hip and trendy shops, galleries, performance venues, cafes, and bars.
The calendar is packed with special events in Wichita, from regular happenings like the popular farmers’ market, to massive community celebrations like the Wichita River Festival, to more niche events like the Tallgrass Film Festival in the fall. Aviation events are especially popular, with exhibitions like the Wichita Flight Festival and the McConnell Air Force Base Open House an Airshow earning the city its nickname: the Air Capital of the World.

Worse experience ever. I would not recommend anyone to live here. The walls and floors are very thin. You can hear everything from neighbors several doors away and above. Apartments smell like sewage and mold. I think an inspector should condemn this place.
I've been dealing with neighboring units sewer backing up into my tub for more than a month. No response from management. NO ONE in office. NO returned phone calls.
Moving in the apartment is very poor. Baseboards missing in the basement and bathrooms, you can tell the upstairs bathroom flooded at one point because the ceiling below in the living room has giant patches for 4x5 feet patched. Makes me nervous the leak wasn't actually fixed properly and the ceiling could come down at any time. Also just poorly patched up throughout, counter tops falling apart, sinks next to each other have different faucets and damaged by the drain. My sliding door wasn't even functioning when we moved in. The door it self did not have a lock on it and never closes fully leaving a 2-3 inch gap unless putting what they left, a wooden pole, in the door to hold it closed. Finally fixed the lock but it takes a ton of work to get it to lock because again it wasn't fixed right which is super inconvenient since I let my dogs out 4-5 times a day. They say you have to pick up dog poop, but no one does. They also don't care if you don't even though there is supposed to be a fine for not picking it up. Then they can't even empty the dog poop bag holders. There's a giant pile of bags full of dog poop just laying on the ground next to it and I've sent several emails throughout the last few months asking if someone can pick it up and empty the holder they are supposed to go in. I do my part by picking up my dog's poop and other dog poop but its not my responsibility to empty the containers where we are supposed to put the poop bags. Guess it will just keep going on the ground next to it and the pile will keep growing. Now I find out they took over my electricity bill, put it back in the complex name so I've been looking for my bill for over a month and had to call evergy to find out why my bill is still 0. I still live here and they took the bill out of my name and now the bill is $240 which is more than double my previous bill of $93. Seems fishy since we keep our heat on 60° and haven't changed any habits as far as how much electricity we use. We even only have two heat vents open which are in the same room as the thermostat so the heat hardly runs. Seems like they're putting more than one apartment on the bill. Overall just a bad experience. I have lived in many different apartments and this by far has been the worst.
Really good apartments, office manager Michael is awesome and does a good job at trying to get your work orders done. We lived there for two years. Had lots of problems at first with older management. But definitely recommend you take a look.
Do not move here. This place does not care about its tenants, there have been 2 electrical fires in the past two years and they have done nothing to help the families that were affected, they said the red cross will take care of them. Even though it is because there lack of care for the town homes. They allow over crowding in the town homes and literally only come on the property if there is a problem like the most recent fire.

This is probably the worst place I have lived. The office people are nice, but thats the only good thing about this place. Since the first day I moved in, there has been nothing but problems. Carpet was gross. Tiles in the shower were terrible. Showerhead detaching from the wall. Two holes where pipes had to be replaced were poorly patched. One of those areas they patched up leaks and they have told me probably 3 different reasons as to what the problem is but I think its all just guesswork.. A week and 3 days ago they sent out someone to look at it, he cut a hole to look at it and hasn't been back. So every time I shower, the hole leaks. I had to call them to bring it to their attention. In the past 30 days, my basement has flooded twice and there was mold on the walls. The first time they came to look at it, I don't know what they even did because they never leave work orders. My refrigerator quit working 3 different times. They replaced it the 3rd time. And don't bother calling emergency maintenance because they don't pick up. The outside of the townhomes have chipped paint and it looks terrible...all around I can't wait until my lease is up
