On top of the numerous public parks throughout the city, locals enjoy close access to huge nature preserves like Bald Knob Refuge and Henry Gray Hurricane Lake, providing great opportunities for hiking, camping, and hunting just east of town. Property Ratings at Village Square of Searcy
I have lived here 6 years. I love this place. My neighbors are wonderful. The manager and maintenance are top notch. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
My family and I love living here. We have never had a promblem here and the maintaince man now has been the best. He is so helpful and such a man of intergrity and works so hard and always takes care of us and our friends that live here also. We couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you village square and Michael for always taking care of our family and making living here a pleasure. Highly recommend.
My first place to live on my own and then again as a newlywed and so glad it was! Karen is the manager and takes the time to talk to you, listen and help with any issues you have with your apt and just life in general. She treats everyone with kindness and respect. She tries to come up with fun things for the complex like BBQs by the pool, Halloween parties, etc. Whenever we needed something fixed, it was done in a timely manner. It's a great place to live. I'll recommend village square to anyone looking for an apt.
If you want a place to call HOME! VS OF SEARCY IS IT!! Everyone here is like family . Karen has to be the best woman I've ever come to know . Cook outs by the pool, people are AWESOME . There isn't a single bad thing I could say. When workers are coming to do work on buildings or breezeways, notes are sent to every apartment days ahead of time, sometimes multiple times. There isn't a single bad thing I could think of to say.
When we decided to make the move to Searcy 2 years ago, I had a list of apartments I was going to check out while my husband was doing his job interview (Village Square was not on that list)As we were leaving town I noticed Village Square, how nice and well clean the buildings & lawn were so we decided to stop and check it out. Lets just say when I meet Karen she had the most prettiest smile on her face and to this day she always has that smile no matter how bad her day is. She answered all our questions, even gave us advice on the town and where to look for jobs. 2 years later we are happy where we call home. If I have any problems or need anything fixed, I can call her no matter what day or time and the problem is usually resolved very quick. I have never had a spider or ant in my apartment, yes there are some spiders on balcony but that's outside, no biggie. Whenever there is any maintence work going on we are informed ahead of time. This is our home and management and her family have become our family. I love summer here with the nice clean refreshing pool and the pool partys that management provides to the residents and kids.
This is by far the best place to live in Searcy!! It is family oriented and everyone here treats you like family!!! Wouldn't want to live anywhere else!! Summers are the best of course with the pool, the cookouts the basketballs games always something to do on weekends!! If you want to live somewhere that truly cares about you and always aims to please you then choose Village Square!
As a wife and daughter of military personnel I have lived all over the United States and I can honestly say living here has been one of the best experiences of my life, you couldn't ask for a kinder more understanding manager than Karen. Little repairs might have to wait a day or two while they do major repairs but they always get done as soon as they can get to them maintenance is always on property working on something. I have seen Karen in her office every day, except when she has meetings or goes to lunch, sometimes till 8/9 at night. She always tries to plan fun get togethers for the complex and works to make this a great place to raise kids.
By far is THE GREATEST PLACE I'VE EVER CALLED HOME. I've been here for over 2 years and the manager is AWESOME! !! I don't see reason any one would have anything horrible to say. I would recommend this place before anyone.#STAYINGFOREVER
I have lived here at Village Square Apartments for quite some time now and it is by far the best place I have ever rented! The manager Karen is the most welcoming manager you could ever want. She is always available and will take the time to talk to you about any issues you may have and handle them immediately. She makes you feel so welcomed and she is so friendly! The maintenance crew has always taken care of EVERYTHING in a timely manner. The apartments themselves are very nice and very clean. The grounds are always being cleaned and kept perfectly. I encourage everyone to apply here bc you will see that this is the best place to live in Searcy AR!
I have lived here for almost a year and my experience with the office staff has never been anything short of exceptional and caring. The manager is always happy to see her residents and takes pride in her community. I am proud to call this place my home.
I don't know what's going on with the negative review about management here. That couldnt be further from the truth. I have lived here almost 2 yrs and the manager is an amazing, caring, Christian woman. The office is Always open unless she is gone to lunch or at a staff meeting. If she's at a meeting there is always a note on the door telling you why the office is closed. I have never seen an ant or even a spider for that matter in my apartment. They do routine pest control and inspections. Maybe the person that left the review isn't a clean person....in which case that's not the manager's fault. When they do repairs around the property we always receive a notice on our doors informing us about it a couple of days ahead of time. The negative review was apparently a bad tenant that indeed got evicted and now they are out to try to make the management look bad. This is a great place to live.
I have lived at Village Square for years and love living here. The people that live here are friendly and family oriented. The manager is an awesome lady. They do have a cop that lives here and works for the complex and its good to know that if anything happens, he is here. The apartments are very clean when I moved in. Looked like a new apartment. Thanks Village Square.
I would highly recommend Village Square apartments in Searcy! I have lived here for 4 years and I have never had anything but great experience. My child loves the pool and always makes lots of friends and that's what's most important! Me and my family feel safe and love it here! Thanks village square for giving us a safe and awesome place to live!
Management is absolutely awful! You are looking at the laziest, unreliable people!! The office is almost never open and the grounds are unkept because management has dogs the potty everywhere and run around without leashes. There are spiders everywhere!!!! Ants are a problem as well. The management will make renovations and will not warn you until the night before!!!! They painted the bridge way one day and blocked off the building from 11am-5pm when the notice said 9am-2pm!!!!! They opened the gate to the pool and we seen people swimming so we went for a dip and then when we got a nasty note that threatened to EVICT US!!!! (Because the pool wasn't open yet,yet the lock was off and the gate was open) they repaired the roof and we weren't told until the night before and then when I was walking out of the bridge way that morning I almost had a load of shingles dumped on my head the maintenance men hangout everywhere and wash their trucks and bs like that when I was promised that my countertops would be replaced from where the previous renters cut up the surface so bad that you can't see hardly any paint on it anymore!!
Property Manager at Village Square of Searcy, Responded To This Review
I am so sorry you are unsatisfied with your residency at Village Square. As the community director it saddens me to think about any of my residents not being pleased here. I have several priorities just a few being cleanliness, functionally, family environment, etc.. I realize it is difficult to please everyone but I do strive for satisfaction. I would love for you come to me personally so I could address all the mentioned concerns for you, I do need to be made aware of problems and personal concerns to be able to properly eliminate said things. Again, I am incredibly sorry for any discontentment and I strive to maintain a great reputation for this property. Please feel free to come talk to me anytime, I do have an open door policy, my office hours are 9am until 1pm and 2pm until 5pm, Monday thru Friday.
These are by far the best apartments I have ever lived in. Its so quiet and has such a fun friendly atmosphere. Ms. Karen, the office manager, is so nice! She makes this place awesome. From the cook outs she plans for all the residents to knowing each and every person by name. Its also very budget friendly, and thats always a plus! I love it here.
