Property Ratings at Village Walk
Terrible management, the maintenance doesn't fix anything. No office building, no pool, no laundry on site. Rent is too high for what they look like inside and out. Do not waste your time or money in that place. Sewage build up/over flow in the middle of the complex.
Property Manager at Village Walk, Responded To This Review
We're so sorry you feel that way. Though we disagree with your characterization of our staff and community, we'd love nothing more than to improve your experience wherever possible. To that end, we encourage you to contact our office at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
So far very happy here. good clean safe and like the new unt
Finially new onwer is fixing place up real nice. Good manager who is taking care. looking forward..
Apartments should have been condemned months ago mold roaches floors caving in air conditioning doesn’t work nats fly in your house like your outside sewage under the building leaking and the smell is unavoidable the city of Greensboro is very familiar with this property and not to forget Tenants tenants are being overcharged for rent some even being charged for water when it’s stated it’s included plumbing backs up water pipes explode in my building so often the maintenance man can’t enjoy his weekend off this place is horrible and the office won’t answer the phone they brush you off when you ask for them to fix things been here since December begging for repairs they should be happy I can’t upload photos
Faulty everything. Faulty plumbing, electricity. Management could care less to fix anything. They promise and promise but for the most part you'll just wait on the end of the world to happen sooner. If anyone really cared to maintain the property it would be a nice place to live. I could be a really nice place, but the staff is not currently capable of fixing the major problems that this complex has. Loads of safety issues both internally and externally about the property. It is shelter and you can shower, but other than that its a hit and miss.
Awful complex, in every way possible! Ceilings link, even after fixed five times! All of their office and maintenance employees are criminals going into one particular persons apt., all the time, and stealing, vandalizing, prying into his personal things, and even stole/steals his foods, or contaminates them! All of their employees did this, and ARE GOING TO PRISONS! Roaches all over that they can't get rid of, no matter what kind of bug spray they use!
If you are reading this I am pleading with you to go somewhere else. This place was a nightmare. We had to call Greensboro Housing Authority because of rodent, plumbing, noise, and safety issues. The staff are unprofessional, disrespectful, dishonest, obnoxious, and every negative connotation you can think off for someone who hates their job. We paid our rent on time every month, kept to ourselves and never gave a reason to be any of the above mentioned. I wish someone had warned me before moving here. Please leave somewhere else for your own well being
This is where you go when you have a tight budget & just need a place. Dingy/drafty & everything is "sometimey" from maintenance to the electrical system to shady, incompetent staff. Lot of stores nearby so the neighborhood could be worse, but it says something that the saving grace has nothing to do with the complex itself. It won't kill you to stay here but if it also won't kill you to wait & save up for elsewhere, do that.
The best advice I can give is to not even bother! The staff is horrible! They'll show you a model and promise the apartment looks just like that. Get your security deposit and first months rent and on move in day you get nothing like expected. Then they give you every excuse in the book. The apartments with the new appliances are not renovated!! The apartments have mold, water stains, rodent smell, and just disgusting. I went and looked at three different apartments and each time they were nothing close to the model or what I was promised. To make a long story just don't even bother.
