Laurel enjoys a unique position roughly halfway between DC and Baltimore, and its relative seclusion makes it an attractive option for commuters who work in either city but prefer a small-town home environment. A new resident so far everything has been great! Just the neighborhood parking that sucks. Very quiet neighborhood but lots of fríendly residents. The parking is kind of confusing due to not knowing what’s a visitor space, & what’s not. The signs aren’t really there on the ground. But other than 8:/10 so far.

This apartment is simple, just right for the price, accessible to Baltimore, Washington DC. The place is also near to Arundel Mills and Bowie Town Center.

Master bathroom the bathtub draines slow.The toilet doesn't flush correctly and the sink stopper is not working.Most of all there's a little boy upstairs who runs all day,very annoying.

It's been an amazing experience so far, beautiful neighbors, experienced and professional staffs cozy environment. Just loving it here. My space is clean and neat, I don't have noisy neighbors. I actually have been getting a warm welcome from my immediate neighbors with beautiful pets. I wish I knew this apartment for a long time would have been here earlier than now. There are several street lamps that do not work or turn on at all which has allowed theft to rise in the community. There has been repeated thefts of all four tires on cars happening since we moved in 3 years ago and it has slowly gotten worse over time. Management needs to fix the street lights and have better lighting and more cameras to protect people’s vehicles from being broken into and/or having all four tires stolen. There’s been a lot of suspicious cars parked perpendicular in front of parking spots with people and flashlights walking around other cars. It doesn’t feel safe anymore to be outside when it’s dark. The amenities could use replacing or at least updating. The dog parks got redone last year but that didn’t last long and it’s back to how it used to look with dead grass and weeds again. The social lounge has broken machines and almost never has cleaning wipes to wipe down the equipment afterwards so who knows if it’s actually clean when you use it.

This neighborhood has come a long way. It has grown to be a nice place to live. My only gripe is rental office seems to wait until the last minute to alert about repairs or needs to get into apartment which affects peoples personal and job lives

The community is nice and quiet. Close to all your shopping needs, from retail to grocery to restaurants and fast food places. Plenty of free residential social and situational events such as summer fun and back to school painting.

Neighborhood very quiet and peaceful. Amenities are also really amazing and well kept. Love that it is pet friendly as well as the fact that there is a play area for kids and dogs nearby.

I have been in my apartment for the last 199 years. Seen so many changes living here but definitely still love living here. New manager is great and staff in the rental office is great too. Love the fitness center and pool as well.

It’s ok the units are a little small but over all it’s an ok experience can’t wait until the pool opens up. My tub was extremely clogged for the first 4 days here but it is fixed now

The neighborhood is pretty quiet honestly. My neighbors are great and we communicate well… except for the dog poop that is continuously left out front. Other than that everything is good.

So far my experience has been ok, I wish that it had been properly explained that I do not have complete control over the A/C and heat the manual turn on by the leasing office or property management is a bit insane especially on hot days like today.

The area is relatively nice but parking is hard to find and leasing office never answers calls. Unless you can go during office hours sending an email is recommended and hopefully you get a response within a reasonable amount of time.

Imagine telling someone that you have a complaint, pointing out individuals are breaking their contract, and for 9 months they ignore you and put up some flimsy sign saying stop, and no one stops. You continue to tell them these individuals are still violating the contract, and nothing is still done. That’s what’s happening here.

Have been living in my complex since 2009. I love seeing all the wonderful changes in my community since then. From the updated fitness center to the dog park. Also the pool has been renovated. I have no complaints when it comes to living here.

I love the quietness but the apartments need updating. Especially the kitchen and bathrooms. New flooring would be nice and better parking. There are a lot of reserved spots that are not being used.

It has been a pleasurable experience to live here for the past 8 years. This property has come a long way from when I first moved in. Maint responds quick, parking is much better than before and noise is never a problem

Amenities are ok. The neighborhood is pretty quiet. More upgrading is needed with apartments. Nevertheless, the rental office and maintenance are prompt with responding to emergencies.

So far moving in hasn’t been that difficult. Better than what we expected. Management was being very patient with us, and very understanding that moving is a big hassle but they made the transition smoothly for us.

Maintenance leaves lights on when they come for service. The office doesn’t respond in a timely manner to complaints and the neighbor smokes so much the smell gets in our unit. Other than that it’s not bad

Great so far. The community is quiet and peaceful. Worried about the recent fires but other than that it’s a great place to live. Easy access to stores and restaurants around.

Community is ok.. Rodents are crazy all around the trash can and they also ate the wiring in my car.. Once the rodent issue is handled properly the community I believe will be a very pleasant place to live..

It’s a good place, but I would fence it around. There’s definitely certain charm here something that other communities don’t have.. Overall, definitely maintained well with some drawbacks.

Living at the Villages of Montpelier has been a pleasant experience. No safety issues but the parking situation could be better. There are simply not enough spots for residents to park for free in the area of their apartment. Recently, new floors have been installed which has definitely helped the smell and overall cleanliness of the apartment. Lastly, while every room has a lock and key, I think it would be a great addition for the front door to each building to also have some form of fob or app entrance so that people aren’t allowed to just come into the apartment building without living there or being let in by a resident. Overall, living here has a been good.

Nice community, buildings look nice outside and inside. Could use more parking and more lights in the parking lots. There are some times where car tires get stolen and catalytic converters too. Staff is friendly and amenities are nice and cared for. No bugs anywhere, there were lots of rats running around the dumpsters but staff has been working to remove them. Grounds are kept clean and tidy.
