Red poppies, Victorian architecture, the state’s most beautiful town square, Lake Georgetown – there’s a lot to love about beautiful Georgetown, Texas! This sunny city is warm and welcoming (the motto is Sincerely Yours, after all), so it’s easy to see why so many are moving to this terrific community. Georgetown is just 27 miles from Austin and it is home to Southwestern University, the oldest university in the state. Settled in the 1840s, Georgetown has a distinctive Victorian charm from its town square to its historic homes.
And while the brilliant red poppies make the landscape, well, pop, Georgetown isn’t just pretty. Residents enjoy amazing destinations like Blue Hole Park, home to a swimming lagoon surrounded by limestone bluffs. When they want a little culture, they head to Georgetown Arts Center, located in a historic firehouse. Shopping and dining takes on a whole new charm when enjoying both in the historic town square.

Property Ratings at Villages of Georgetown
I've been renting a 1-bed apartment here for about 12 months, and while the value on paper is good for a 1-bedroom apartment with a garage, the lived experience has been really poor. The bedroom in my apartment is directly over a neighbor's garage, and the noise is quite loud anytime the door is opened/closed; it will wake you up even if you're not a light sleeper. The bedroom wall is shared with the stairwell for the same tenant who owns the garage, and you will hear them clearly if they are walking or talking in the stairwell. I've heard worse actions that you wouldn't want your children to. The wall in the main room/kitchen/stairwell is shared with a different tenant. Since the only ethernet connection is on this wall, it incentivizes tenants to place their TV/media setups on that wall. This means that if they watch TV or listen to music, you're going to be forced to as well. On an average day, I can Shazam my neighbors music standing 10-15ft from the wall at my kitchen sink; some of it is them being bad neighbors and having the volume too high, but that's in addition to the soundproofing of the walls being exceptionally bad. The dog policy is non-enforced and there are several tenants with restricted breed dogs, and there's no enforcement of leash laws/policy. I've been jumped on by the neighbors' large dog several times, reported it several times, and nothings changed. I have empathy for the office and maintenance staff because they have been as helpful as they likely can be, but I do not recommend living here unless you financially have to. If you're not lucky enough to have quiet neighbors, you'll have to pay $3100+ or just hate where you live until your lease runs out.

I am renewing my lease here at Villages of Georgetown, and I opted to transfer to an upstairs unit at the end of the lease. Fernie has been instrumental with the transfer and I am very appreciative of his efforts in making this a smooth and convenient process. Fernie is an incredible asset to this leasing team. He is professional, personable, and mild-mannered. I've had a few interactions with Candace and with each interaction, she would greet with a smile and ensured my questions and concerns were answered and handled. There was a particular instance where I was interested in touring a vacant unit on a Saturday, which unknowingly wasn't available at Villages of Georgetown, however she contacted her counterpart at Reveal 54, where all I had to do was drive over, and the leasing agent, Kayla was readily available to facilitate the tour, which made the whole process seamless. Needless to say, I opted to keep the same floorplan, but on the 2nd floor, which ultimately was a more feasible option for me. This was incredible teamwork demonstrated by both individuals, and even more impressive given the effort and enthusiasm they gave on a Saturday, a day that most people are apprehensive about working on. Brandi is another great asset to the leasing/management team. She has a very pleasant personality and has always gone to great lengths to ensure the tenants' needs are met promptly and conveniently. Overall, Villages of Georgetown is a very nice community with very nice amenities. The leasing staff are incredible and always happy to provide assistance to their tenants. In the world we live in today, it is a challenge to reside in a community where the management and leasing staff genuinely care about their tenants' comfort and satisfaction. I enjoy my tenancy here, and look forward to another pleasant lease term as a VOG resident! Way to go Villages of Georgetown!

Overall a great experience considering this as an option for my next home! Since this market is hectic right now and availability is scarce, I could not go with the options that were available for my personal preferences. But I am grateful that I was working with Karissa as my leasing consultant through the process. She was so very patient and maintained professionalism even with me being particular and possibly difficult to work with at times. :-) The complex/grounds are well-kept and having garages makes this complex so desirable. The finishes are nice and updated and the floor plans are spacious. If there is a way that this will work for me in the future, I would definitely lease here!!

We’ve been living here for almost a year and recently they got new management. Well apparently the office does not have their things in order because some genius decided to have our car towed for not being residents of this community. Even though we’ve lived here almost a year. It’s going on 8 days since our cars been towed and they’ve admitted their wrongs but still our car has not returned.

I've live on the community since November, and have to give 5 stars based on there customer service and inviting atmosphere. Every time I enter the office to use the tanning room I'm greeted with a smile and asked how my day is going. I have a dog and absolutely love the pet park with the new equipment that was added this week , it literally went up from one day to another. I was unsure if this was going to happen, however the girls in the office kept me informed when I asked the timeline to completion. Maintenance is on point and Troy is a sight to see! Not to mention very respectful. The only downfall I have is other people not picking up after there pets. I have seen several emails from the office about this but I feel like very few people respect were they call home. All in all I love this place and location.
Love this apartment community! Location is awesome and I love the interiors. Very nice and helpful staff and very clean apartment.
