Villas at Huffmeister

I have been trying to contact the leasing office for months now at no avail. I have been here for 2+ years, never been late on rent, very minimal calls to maintenance, and here it is when I am trying to end my lease, which they are aware of, they are seemingly unavailable and not responding to vmails or emails. What type of operation are you all running over there. This is very unacceptable and while I would have fully recommended you all in the past to anyone, I am having second thoughts as the lack of communication speaks directly to your professionalism. Hopefully we can get this matter resolved soon.

Decent apartment complex to live but there are many things that they can work on. Apartments are nice and very spacious. Kim that works in the office is very nice and helpful and you can tell she genuinely cares about keeping people happy. All neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. Most the time the complex is pretty quiet but at times is can be extremely noisy. Super loud cars leaving at all hours of the day coming in and out all night long. They do yard work very very early in the morning so we are always randomly woken up to loud leaf blowers and I wake up early. And the yard work takes most the day so if your working from home expect to have background noise for half the day. Some maintenance gets fixed quickly but some stuff takes a long time and you constantly have to contact them to get it fixed. Location is convenient but sometimes highway 6 can get pretty loud. The trash valet to me is ridiculous, it is a requirement that you pay for it but more often then not they do not even pick up your trash. Excuses like bag not tied properly or too heavy are often used as to why they won’t pick up the trash. I would not put a trash bag out if it was too heavy. It would take them the same amount of work as just taking the trash instead of leaving a little note. I hate waiting for them to pick it up so I take it to the dumpster myself most the time anyways. The entry gates are constantly broken and another issue is that people will often drive in behind you when coming through the gates when you open it so you never know who could be coming in. Pool is nice and always free of people. The gym has 3 machines in it so you can’t do much. They are working on the recreation room in the main building so hopefully it comes out nice! If Kimberley was not working here I do not think we would have moved in. She is awesome and made the transition easy!

I love this community and the staff! Kimberly is Always helpful and friendly!

The reason I do highly recommend this place is because of the quality of the residents that live here, the overall complex, AND the office personnel. LOVE LOVE LOVE that the gates are ALWAYS in working condition.

It is a quiet and affordable place to live

I love this apartment complex BUT the pool is not well taken care of. The fountain looks disgusting, one whole side is completely covered in mold which is leaking into the pool. The pool itself looks clean but when you get in you can see mold and dirt on the bottom and on the walls. The lights inside the pool can't be touched because you get shocked every time and get a burn on your leg or foot AND someone broke the sink in the ladies bathroom over the winter and it has not been replaced. What used to be a beautiful pool has become a sad place to come enjoy.

The fees have increased tremendously over the years with no input or options for the tenants.

we have had horrible experiences in the past under different management and different maintenance staff with need an hour air condition repaired, what a difference now , Maintenance came in and fixed it right away it only took not even five minutes he was quick knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this apartment to friends because this staff and management team really care and it shows !

The community is very quiet and safe management is great and very professional

Office and maintenance staff have all been very professional, understanding, welcoming, and care about your living experience.

Very clean complex, great floor plans, friendly staff, easy freeway access.

The amount of on going Construction going on around us is so loud and never ceases that I would be cautious about recommending right now.

I would recommend this community only one recommendation would be to try to combine residents that have pets together in same complexes building. The barking noise daily does become a nuance.

My mailbox was always broken and my mail removed. Luckily I did not get a lot of personal email at the complex. Also the gate in the back kept having issues. It was usually broken allowing multiple people to come onto the complex.

I have stayed at several in the area, but this is pretty good about getting things done..

It is a well maintained property. Everyone on staff has been pleasant to work with. However, kitchen appliances are a bit outdated, countertops are cheap, and upstairs cable connections do not work; internet only available through living room connection.

It's quite and easy access to 290. Only issue is the hotel behind the apartment complex kids tossing things over the fence. Saw someone pee by the fence behind our apartment. We could see everything through our window .

I would recommend VH because it offers convenient floor-plans and an awesome office staff. The only down side was a fault AC system in which the wonderful maintenance crew continuously attempted to repair. My inability to keep the apartment cool keep me with a high electric bill every month. The community also suffers because of multiple 18-wheelers parked outside of the property making it difficult to in and out of the property.

Things take time and maintenance scheduling does to so they try to fix things in a timely manner.

I would recommend this apartment to family and/or friends, because the rooms are spacious enough, the grounds are well tended to and there are no parking issues in this apartment complex.

I feel that when we renew our lease we should have something given to us that is needed in the apartment , like painting , change out the rugs in the bedrooms that is how you keep us as the tenants , keep everything fresh and up to date . It should not cost us money for paint . That would be great if that was given to us . ??

Property is kept up and office personnel are outstanding especially kim.

We love the six of our apartment and everyone is impressed with the bedroom sizes and that why we are asking for our bedrooms to have the rugs pulled up and replaced with the laminated flooring it will help make the room so much better and it's so so needed we are here for 7 yrs I believe and we are really great tenants , and want to enjoy keep our apartment looking great but we need your assistance with the rugs and paint please assist us on this , it will be a great lift for us and the apartment!! ???

I only have a few complaints. As for the apartment itself, everything was great except for the patio/front door and the floor at the entrance to the kitchen. The flooring situation has been resolved but the patio and front door area still needs to be addressed. I was told several times that there was a power washer issue and that it would be cleaned soon, but it hasn't been cleaned. Outside the apartment, of the few times we've been to the pool, the first time it was dirty and some of the tables/chairs were broken or dirty. The pool has been clean the last couple of times we've been there. But the furniture and grill situation is disappointing.

Be careful when moving here. They can break into your place anytime when you are not home.

The walls are thin I can hear the kids next door loud and clear. The excerise room is in bad shape. The gate has been broken for 4 to 5 months. And post man always delivering the wrong mail.

Kimberly was FANTASTIC!! We had read great reviews about her before visiting the property and were glad she was the staff person to help us. She was incredibly patient and went the extra mile to give us all the information we needed. Our decision is down to Villas and one other apartment community. We haven't decided yet.

Just the best customer service ever. The lady with blonde hair helped me and was just so attentive and listen to me. I am hoping by next month I am able to start my application and call this new residence my NEW HOME (:

I like the location, community and space of the apartment.

The quality of residents around me are great- quiet and considerate. Location is good for me, close to good schools & convenient for work & shopping. Pablo is wonderful at fixing all my service requests.

Office Staff and Maintenance Staff are super courteous and assist in solving problems in a timely manner. Pablo, the Maintenance Supervisor, is the best one this complex has ever had!!

Repair the Main Security Gate and I will give the complex a rating of 10.

It's a great place to live but I'd have to warn about the possibility of a drastic rent increase

I love the Manager and especially the assistant manager! He and She are AWESOME!!

I would recommend this apartment community because of the space and home feel it gave.

Everything Was Great About These Apartments except the fact that they have roaches. This is my only issue & it still haven?t been resolved. I had a few other issues with the door not being able to lock w/ the key to the outside & the wrong mailbox key as well as a minor issue with the dishwasher which was all addressed & fixed in a timely manner. The roaches seems to be hard to get rid of. I don?t see as many, but the goal is to see none. I doesn?t feel like I can call this place home when I?m seeing a roach every time I look around.

I would recommend the apartment - the floorplan was different - loved the accent walls. Seemed peaceful.

I wouldn't necessarily say anything against someone moving her, but because or the reasons stated in the previous comments section, I would not go out of my way to recommend it either.

My sister came to help me Move in and she was knocked off her feet of the apartment...if she didn?t have to travel so far to work, she said I would be her neighbor! I love that the Villas have that home feel, they don?t look like apartments! I love my home!

I would not recommend this apartment due to my bed bug experience and other pest (roaches, gnats, spiders,etc.) My car was broke into several times due to lack of security , frequent gate issues and access from in town suites to the apartment complex.

My apartment is great. It is comfortable with plenty of storage space and it came with a washer and dryer so that was definitely a plus! The complex is very homey and relaxed. I like the atmosphere here and the staff is great too! Especially Kim, she is very helpful and made my move a pleasant experience.

I really like this apartment complex. The people I have met here have been nice and the staff is great. Kimberly in the office is always very helpful and attentive! If you want a quiet, relaxing community atmosphere with spacious apartments, then this is the place for you!

Kimberly is a awesome person she is so helpful I am just moving in this month. She made it so simple and she is such a nice person she greet you as soon as you come through the door to make you feel right at home. You could not ask for a better person on your staff. Love it already if I could give this place 10stars i would. I am retired from the ARMY I can't recall having someone so helpful.

I've lived in a lot of different communities and I honestly have to say this have been by far the BEST experience so far! Everything in my apartment is new. Wonderful! The staff has always been a Pleasure to deal with. Andy, Kimberly, Neslie, Lawana, Nestley, and Lavona in the office are always so pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Great management staff. Management is very attentive and fix any issues asap! Great price for the area and the amenities. Kimberly and Neslie really goes above & beyond to do the best they can for all residents. The landscaping is beautiful and its a pleasure to walk around here. Finally, Thank You to: Andy, Kimberly,Neslie, Nestley,Lawana, Lavona, and the Maintenance staff. I highly recommend Villas at Huffmeister if you are looking for a home rather then a shelter!

Living here has been great I would refer anyone to Villas at Huffmeister. I live in a one bedroom apartment that I love, it's big and as an attached garage. All of the office staff is great however, Lavona is the best. She will go out of her way to make sure things get done.

One of my biggest complaints here is my air conditioning. Unfortunately even the nicest apartment cannot be enjoyed if you are sitting in a warm room. Now it cools but it is on 24/7 to keep the room at about 75 degrees so to keep from paying a large electricity bill you need to turn it to almost 78. Now I work in a 10,000 foot warehouse with 25 foot ceilings and huge bay doors and we keep it at that same temperature with only one of the two air conditioners working part time, it seems to me that I should be able to cool to around 73 or 72 and not be running constantly. We were told that somebody would be by to look at in the morning, that was 2 days ago. Not very pleased with the help. Also we were never given any information about the alarm, i had assumed it just didnt function unless I set it up, wrong. We came home and the alarm starting blaring. This was 7:30 at night so the front desk was closed and the on call people never returned our call we sat for almost an hour before I just disconnected the unit at the wall and the battery that was in the closet. We still have not heard anything back. I love the apartment and the front desk attendant that I've delt with is truly amazing, very wonderful helpful and nice. But she has no real control over these scenarios. Hopefully something will change soon.

I love this community because it is convenient area accessible to highways, good value for your dollar, and the office personal is great especially Kimberly, she helps with all my concerns.
