Villas at Midtown

Tried to get an apartment here, did all the necessary paper work and went through their online bit for it, I've even paid them the first months rent and first payment of the deposit after getting off the phone with them however I've been ghosted and lied to after that point, saying that I was given misinformation and that theyll get me an apartment. Its been 3 months since then and they still refuse to give me a refund for the promised apartment.

I was told I was approved for a townhouse. They had me pay $250 for a lease addendum and reassured me more than 5 times - on multiples on occasions - that a townhouse would be ready for me on March 1st. I get a text today, 2 weeks before, with a typical bait and switch tactic. Informing me that they don’t have what they already approved me for and reassured me multiple times I’d have wasn’t available and wouldn’t be any time soon. I called them out on the bait and switch. I have attached the absurd text they sent me with the bait and switch. They refuse to give me any money back and also refuse to give me the district manager’s number - which I now have. Absolutely bull and I cannot believe the audacity.

Lived here a few years ago. Washer/dryer started not running the dryer. Took them months to tell me they are waiting on a part. I know a guy so I reached out to see if I could fix it myself. He tells me they don't make that part anymore because it's so old. The serial number from the manufacturer confirmed it was a 20+ year old model. When I moved out they charged me for the unit saying it was "new" and "beyond normal use"... The staff is nice as long as you don't expect them to do their jobs

First off, they don't have laundry on site. They are all closed and broken, and have been for months. Also it's 15 dollars a month pet fee not 10, I know because I have to pay that. The maintenance here is horrible. I went all winter without a heater and my AC doesn't work either. Maintenance doesn't care and neither does the office.

As nice as management is. I cant get anything fixed and we are new tenants. Im basically DIY'ing my way through what needs to be fixed around here. You could put MULTIPLE work orders in and they will eventually come fix just one specifically and its usually the one least important.

From my experience, an apartment complex is only as good as the amenities it offers. The best way to check such out is just show up unannounced and check out what they have to offer by yourself, without the guided tour that only wants your money. In this instance, I checked out the fitness center. Geez Louise... Nothing like the pictures at all. 1) Carpet that looks like it was in need of vacuuming three weeks ago and now just... yeesh! 2) Broken cable on leg press machine, just lying there and looks it has been that way for a while. 3) None of the add-ons are available on the Total Body machine. Can't do lat pulldowns, cable curls, etc. I get that some people are just trash and steal whatever they can but you have security cameras in the fitness center so... 4) It looks as though I have been the only person in the fitness center for a few days, at least. I worked out with what was available for two hours and no one else came by. This was at around 5pm so should have been at least a few folks but no. There is a reason for that and it isn't the tenants... I'm glad I checked out the fitness center first. If they can't even bother to do upkeep on that, I can only guess what the actual tenants must face daily. Luckily, I'm not one of the poor souls to find out. Hopefully you won't be either.

The WORST APARTMENTS I HAVE EVEN LIVED IN! They DONT FIX ISSUES YOU HAVE. they do not call you back like they say they will. They don't do anything they say they are going to do. My apartment always smelt like weed because all the neighbors smoked and it came inside my apartment. AC/Heater did not work and they NEVER fixed it. ROACHES EVERYWHERE. neighbors had bedbugs. i seen people hit other peoples cars with theres and just keep driving the place is SAD NASTY AND A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

The Villas staff made my first time moving easy and affordable. They had a great move in special at the time, which worked out great! I was able to get a great remodeled apartment and I love it!

This is a quiet place to live. Maintenance is a little slow in response except for in emergencies. Office staff is extremely nice and helpful. I don't see a bug problem, but I also keep my house clean.

I have been living here for 8 years and I enjoy every day of it. I like it her because we have 2 pools . we have a play ground, we have a basketball hoop. we have a volleyball net. I have my own laundry room in my apartment which I really enjoy a lot.my kids live here and they love it here to, and also my grandkids live here to right behind me which I enjoy cuz I see them every day. I sure don't plan on moving because I like it here.

Absolutely love living here. Apartments are spacious. Quite area, area for kids to play and pets have their own areas as well. Very friendly staff.

Rent is not that high, but still as safe as you can be any where. they maintain the place well, any problems are taken care of quickly. I've enjoyed the place the whole time I've been here.

New tenant. So far so good. My apt. was just remodeled and it was done well. Management responds quickly to any needs I may have. I love the location being close to the highway. Close to Brookside. First apt I've lived in, in over 20 years. Thanks for asking for my opinion. Hope it helps..

I have been here since November 2016! I love it!! Great residents! I love the improvements going on. My dog loves the dog park and the room to be able to walk in the grass!! The office staff and maintenance know what they are doing and are so friendly! I could not ask for a better place to live!!

I have lived here for 6 months now and find that the people are really very nice in this complex. my dog and I walk every day to the dog park and playground. there is also a big field she can run in chasing the squirrels. the management here are really nice as well. always upbeat and happy to help you out. it is a great to place to live check it out.

I rate a 5 stars excellent happy with my stay! Quiet and peaceful area. Grounds are always clean, which says a lot.

My family has lived here for 8 years. Once my daughters were grown they moved out and rented their own apartment home here. The office & maint respond to my needs and the large park on the back of the property and the two pools in the summer keeps the grandkids happy. Plan on staying for another year at minimum. Also, love that there is plenty of parking!

I have lived here for close to 7 years and I love it. It has a community feel to it and it's quiet. It's right off the highway so I can get where I need to be efficiently. They are now doing a lot of renovations and it's looking beautiful!

I've lived here for 4 years now and I have nothing bad to say about it. The office staff is helpful and friendly and the maintenance staff takes care of my work orders fast and efficient. I love that I don't have to pay a pet fee per month and they have a area where I can take my dog. Over all I love living here!

The rent is reasonable and the area is quiet and family-friendly. However the units are dated and they have a terrible roach problem. The lady at the front desk is also quite rude. I will not be resigning once my lease is up.

I love these apartments. No kind of bug problem & always come on time to fix anything!

The Villas is amazing. Has awesome pool & fitness center. Alot of lighting at night. Clean and affordable. I found everything I needed in this place. I would love to call it my home.

I am going into my 4th year living at the Villa and compared to the places have stayed, I have no major complaints. I live in an area that is quiet when the sun goes down. No hanging out making a lot of unnecessary noises. The grounds are neat and presentable and that makes me proud of where I live. I don't mind inviting my friends and family over. The staff, the office and maintenance, is so friendly and helpful. If something is wrong with anything in my apartment that needs attention asap or not, they do the job completely and quickly. I like the activities they plan for the adults as well as the children at the Villa. Security is the best. I know if I need to call he will be there on the job not just blowing me off. He calls or come by to let me know he's on it. The best I like the fact that a major grocery store is near and also fast food, dine-in or delivery places too. I don't have to go across town to shop, which is helpful to me being disabled and having to depend on someone to take me anywhere. The rooms in my apartment are big enough for a one bedroom apartment. Just right for me, not to big but big enough to have a couple of friends over for dinner. There is enough parking space for residents and guest. Now there are some things I wish I could change about my apartment. One is unchangeable, its the fact that I only have one closet. Its a very large closet, but I really would like another one. I would like another front door, mine is beat up weather-wise and I would love to have a screen door for the really nice fall days and I don't need the air condition. The big thing is the bug problem. It's not extremely bad here, but one bug is too many bugs. The spraying is consistent. I would like the choice of having carpet in my bedroom or not. I'm really not a carpet person, I choose not to have it. So I said all of that to say this. Staying at the Villa has been a very nice change compared to the places I have experienced. No place is Perfect and I really believe that a place is only as good as the staff. They draw only good tenants. Thank You, Gina Hatcher - 2125 #119

I think I would consider moving to these apartments. I especially having a store so close. I also like the location.

Was under the impression that I would be getting one of the newly renovated apartments and the u all did the month to month rental agreement
