The neighborhood is great for renters looking for a home in a quieter environment but want to be close to the wonders of Austin city living.
Rogers Ranch residents have quick access to several retail centers for services, restaurants, and shopping. The Rim is a huge center featuring brand-name stores, chain restaurants, & a multiplex cinema. For even more entertainment, locals flock to Eishenhower Park, a natural area with five miles of hiking & jogging trails lined with beautiful cacti and wildflowers, or they ride roller-coasters at Six Flags Fiesta Texas up the road.
Rogers Ranch is a great place for commuters and students because of its great location. The neighborhood is only 22 minutes from downtown San Antonio and eight minutes from the University of Texas at San Antonio campus.

*disclaimer* this is not to defame this complex, this is a real life experience that has resulted in a very dissatisfied tenant. The pictures say it all* I have been a resident here for 2 years. My gf and I recently transferred to a bigger “upgraded” apartment on 12/17/2021. We were very excited because we were going to host my family for Christmas for the first time in SA. Unfortunately we were given the keys to an apartment that I’m still unsure if it was ever cleaned. We found several areas of mold around the apt, bathrooms, windows, ceilings, water faucets etc. I vacuumed the carpet prior to moving and found pet hair remains from the previous tenant, enough to fill my vacuum from just the living room. All of the fire alarms were without battery. The 3rd floor balcony has multiple missing bolts that hold the patio railing to the building. Drains with human hair from previous tenant, just absolutely disgusting. The manager could not confirm in person that this apt was checked for its cleanliness, only the fact that it was a “quick turn around”. We are currently working with legal counsel to remediate these issues. The apt manager denied us a mold test per my request. Stating that their maintenance man was qualified enough to remove all the “black substance” in our apt. Multiple times I communicated that I have serious respiration issues with mold, yet that was not of their concern. My gf and I have both left messages with the Anterra Property Management group with no luck in receiving a call back. My main concern is that the current staff at this apartment believe it to be ok to deliver a new residents apt to them like this. I firmly believe that the staff should be held accountable for this serious offense. This is not ok and something needs to change. Anterra Management please call me before any more future tenants are treated like this. This is suppose to be a luxury apt in one of the nicer parts of San Antonio, Rogers Ranch. I am beyond disappointed that I had to tell my siblings they could not come for Christmas because I was in fear of their health with her newborn due to the mold.
I’m not really one to leave a review BUT I just couldn’t stay quiet about this place. We have had a roach problem here for the past couple months. We’ve put in 3 work orders and have heard nothing back over a span of 2 months. (Oh! And we are charged every month for pest control. ) luckily I was home during lunch today to get the pest control guy while he was in the hall. From the start this place has had very few redeeming qualities if any. When we first moved in only the hot water was working and it took a week before anybody came out to fix this. The ice in the freezer was not working. The master bedroom outlets would short out every hour. 1 redeeming quality it’s close to my work. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT MOVE HERE!

This place has a serious roach problem! They charge you every month for pest control yet they never spray unless you request it! It’s ridiculous. If you’re going to charge for it then it needs to be taken care of EVERY MONTH! The apartment looks pretty but it’s not worth having these little critters around. We’ve had our place sprayed and the problem is still there. Very disappointed and cannot wait to move out!

I tried to visit this community. The lady didn’t want to waste her time showing me an apartment. She seemed so stressed and bored. And most of all she was the most rude person I’ve ever met. It is a terrible start. We all know it can only get worse after you move in. In the end, she showed me the model. It is faaaar worse then what you see in the pictures. I do not recommend it! Stay away! I think if they treat you like that when you visit, I cannot imagine how bad they will treat you when you move in. Just a nightmare! I deeply regret wasting my time there.

Save your money and your sanity. This place is a joke as far as management and maintenance workers. If you don’t answer your door when they knock, they will just barge right in even if you specifically said you do not want them in your apt if you are not home. There is dog poop everywhere....I mean everywhere!! Dog owners do not pick up after themselves and the apartment, when showing Apts, only takes people to a certain area which is nicer and more maintained. We have seen maintenance workers and their families emptying out apartments in the middle of the night( don’t know if people didn’t pay rent or what) but they were loading furniture and goods in their personal vehicles. They also don’t have a pool guy who adjusts chlorine in pool. We were in the pool once when a maintence man entered the pool room where they store pumps and after about 10 minutes we started smelling an immense chlorine smell and started feeling really itchy and skin was burning. He could have asked us to get out or not over do it on the chlorine.. I can go on and on but bottom line.. look elsewhere, ANYWHERE!!!!

The concrete walkways are dirty and often cluttered with debris. When I first moved in, there were no noise issues and now I hear late night music thumping for hours. The management company has changed in less than a year and the staff has changed almost entirely. Customer service is not number one on the list of priorities here, which is sad because it's on the top of my list when choosing a place to live. It was not like this when I first moved in. It seems to have gone down hill in less than a year.
Forget about relaxing by the pool, using the bbq or strolling on the path. The noise is so loud the windows shake. Can't be inside or outside the apartment. You have to leave to get peace. Wish I had paid attention to the review that said this. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
Definitely best apartments I've lived in, plenty of light, specious closets. Open layout. On the down side the living room was small and couldn't clean the walls with out the paint coming off.
The apartments are nice. They are a little old and things in my apartment keep breaking, but they are being upgraded. They are pricey for what you get, but hopefully the upgrades help.

The apt. complex was exactly what i was looking forward too. The amount of windows and patio were a lure for me along with the location. My dream apartment was short lived from the day i moved in. The smell of a dog hit you as soon as you entered the apt. foyer/stairs and study room. That took weeks to resolve and the person they hired to first just remove the padding didn't put my furniture back I had to do and the scheduled appt. were not kept. That did not resolve the issue which lead to the carpet in the stairwell and study being replaced again another appointment. Maintenance request are not completed within a 48 hour period. I have an attached garage which is blocked by visitors and residents numerous times with no resolution. The biggest issue was a rodent problem in the ceiling above my bedroom and closet. The constant scratch and running back and forth early in the morning interrupted my sleep and embarrassing when i had company over. It scared my granddaughter when she spent the night as she thought it was going to come through the ceiling. The management, office and maintenance people are never on the same page causing me to live in a model apt. for a couple of days as they tried to resolve the issue. The model did not have a working washer/dryer/microwave/cable or internet along with promise to assist move my necessities did not happen and were not repaired during my stay. An artwork in the spare bedroom fell off the wall to the bed below thank god I didn't have company over. So fast forward 2 months later no follow up to my issue. They offered me a percentage off one months rent nothing thereafter. Then the offer to allow me to move to another apt. in the complex with no extra fees but the lack of follow up lead to the interested apts the rent would go up by the next day which was more than i was currently paying and getting less. No garage or carport and when I finally settled of one i did not get a follow up call regarding the a separate garage or carport so when i came back from out of town the apt. was leased. So at this point i gave my 60 day notice and at my own expense i'm moving again 6 months of torment of the rodent. Since I gave notice to move no one has come by or called to resolve the rodent issue. The on site security officer also did not respond to a person literally blocking the entrance to my garage from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. I had to park my vehicle in the parking lot away from apartment.
The Villas for the area and surroundings vs the money you start paying one would expect better top of the line amenities. The staff are not the most responsive or easiest to get ahold of which is disappointing. Parking can be a problem and your fellow tenants are not the most courteous with their trash or picking up after their pets. Lots of pet owners in this complex. Decent place but you can do much better and get more bang for your buck.
As first time apartment renters .. I was not impressed. Management functions poorly (lack of communication causes inconveniences, etc.). I don't like how maintenance disregards your time request for service and they just walk in if you don't answer the door w.in a few knocks. Rent is expensive and there is not much to offer (wish there was a pool table or something in club house). There is a nice trail behind the apartments but the weight room, business office and pool are mediocre. They claim to have a dog park but its really just an open field.
