Property Ratings at Villas Del Cielo
I spoke to a girl for 12 minutes, didn’t catch her name because she mumbled it and I couldn’t hear it over her receiving text messages and her messages being liked. I asked about the gate, “It’s a work in progress”, well okay do you have security “We have a courtesy watch”, okay when do they work, “We don’t know we just pay them we aren’t sure if their schedule”. I asked her for a quote, she couldn’t give me an accurate one, every question I had she sighed, and when I asked the team size or who I would be working with she got defensive. She offered to transfer me, then hung up the phone. I haven’t even rented from you guys and I never will. Insane.
I have been a resident of Villas Del Ciello for the past five years, and during this time, I have witnessed a significant decline in the quality of customer service provided by the management. Since the departure of our previous manager, Nicollette, the level of professionalism and responsiveness has plummeted to an unacceptable low. The new management's approach to resident concerns is nothing short of deplorable. I have encountered numerous instances where my attempts to resolve issues have been met with blatant disrespect and disregard. On several occasions, I have been unceremoniously hung up on, a behavior that is not only unprofessional but also indicative of a deeper problem within the current management's attitude towards its residents. It is both frustrating and exhausting to deal with a management team that seems to lack even the most basic understanding of customer service. The transition from Nicollette’s tenure, marked by her exemplary dedication and efficiency, to the current state of affairs is stark and disappointing. The current management's inability to maintain the standards set by Nicollette is glaringly apparent and deeply concerning. The issues I have faced are not isolated incidents but rather symptomatic of a systemic failure within the management. This has resulted in a living environment that is increasingly untenable. The indifference and incompetence exhibited by the current management team have significantly diminished the quality of life at Villas Del Ciello. To anyone considering making Villas Del Ciello their home, I strongly advise against it. The current state of affairs is unsustainable and reflects poorly on the reputation of Villas Del Ciello. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a place that values its residents and upholds a standard of excellence. To the corporate leadership of Villas Del Ciello, I urge you to address these issues promptly and restore the high standards of customer service that we once enjoyed. Immediate action is needed to rectify the situation and prevent further damage to your reputation.
Issues like the water leak like the one in the apartment I was in wasn't fixed and mildew and water damage in the utilities closet. "Gates" don't even work. Has a nice pool hot tub was never opened.
The parking gates were broken for 90% of the time I lived here, resulting in 4 car incidents and a stolen car. Management is completely apathetic toward the protection of personal property and will only give you excuses as to why the gates aren't fixed yet.
Moved in two years ago, just signed a new lease. Really quiet and not on main streets which is good. Staff in office is nice and attentive and maintenance guys respectful
They say it’s a gated community but the gate has been broken since I moved in. There has been at least 3 cars that got broken into since living here. They say they have trash pick up but been here a year and no one has ever picked up my trash. Like I said been here a year and the gym has never been open. It took them 2 months to turn on the air. One more thing after 7pm there is no parkings

Hello, Thank you for your review. Our gates have been in disrepair longer than anticipated however, we are working on this now. The gym has been open for months and is available for use. We only closed temporarily for new equipment installation. We DO NOT offer valet trash nor do we advertise this. There are dumpsters throughout the complex where you may take your trash to. Parking can get full, we do have available covered parking that you may rent. Please call the office at 505-884-1916 for additional questions
Poor connection with the phone, internet, everything. Most of the washing machines and dryers are broken. Even the in-unit washing machines often break, and rude management. The only upside to the apartments is the thick walls, so you don't have to hear any of the neighbors.
Management here sucks! They’re so nice when touring but the minute you sign your lease forget it! They are rude anytime you have an issue. It’s like it’s an inconvenience for them when you ask them to do their job. Getting things fixed... well be ready to beg and cry and jump over hoops and scream and shout before it gets done. They need to fire all these lazy managers they have and start afresh.
When we did the tour of these apartments, it seemed great! But... As soon as we got our keys to our apartment, it was all down hill from there. Our apartment smelled like cat pee, they didn't do a walk through with us. When I told management about the cat pee, they said we can clean your carpet or give you your money back. We should've taken the money and ran. We had to hire someone to come fix the carpet because it still smelled like cat pee. It was all fine after we got the carpet fixed. After that, it started to get worse. Maintenance was okay expect Rudy. I called him after hours about a problem and he told me, "what do you want me to do about it?" I was done at that point. Oh and our upstairs neighbors smoked weed in the apartment and would fight outside where all the doors are at least once a week. The move out process was the worst. Nicole the manager is really nice until you do something she doesn't like. We always paid our rent on time, we're great residents and never complained. Nicole never told me that the prorate was due like our normal rent for move out. We got a notice on our door saying we owed 780. We didn't even had to pay that much for the prorate. When I called Nicole, she was nasty. Very rude and not helpful at all. Worst manager ever if you ask me. Was so happy to leave.
The apartments are old, bathrooms are small and if you have a washer and dryer in your apartment, you can wash laundry while you sit on the toilet, this is how small the bathrooms are. Cabinets and built-in drawers are older than the hills and they have a bug problem. However, they are wonderful staff.
I have lived here for a year. The two bedrooms are huge/good priced! There was plenty of room for my roommate, her boyfriend, me, and my dog. The grounds are kept nice, with good outdoor areas. The staff is friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns. I would recommend living here. Things that kept me from giving it five stars- 1. Location- parking is not ideal, no spaces inside the gate at night, I'd always have to park on the street, and with the school right across the street, it's a madhouse to try and get out to the main street when the school starts and ends. 2. Security-There was a gate that locked at night however it was really easy to get in even if you didn't have the code. I don't always feel safe here. No cameras, no security guards at night. 3. Bugs- NO problem with any cockroaches inside the apartment, however the grounds are crawling with them during the night. They're all over the sidewalks and on walls. Office has sprayed inside however they remain at night.
