The famous vineyards may be the big draw for visitors, but the broader culture of Santa Rosa and surrounding Sonoma County make it a delightful place to live, work, and play. The arts community ranges from the classical to the eccentric, with many outdoor festivals and other events taking advantage of the area’s unbeatable climate.
Naturally, the city is a paradise for wine aficionados, and the local breweries get high marks as well. Santa Rosa has done an excellent job preserving its historic homes and buildings, and many Victorian-era neighborhoods still appear as they did over a century ago. Of course, the gorgeous scenery doesn’t hurt either-- Northern California’s wild and rugged terrain surrounds Santa Rosa, making it easy to explore new trails and soak in fresh views after moving to your Santa Rosa rental.

Property Ratings at Vintage Ridge Apartment Homes
4 Stars. Here is why. It is easier to give a low rating when one only focuses on the one or two negatives about any place you live here in Sonoma County. I am a long time resident of Sonoma County for over two decades, and I have moved and lived in almost every part of the city of Santa Rosa. Living in an apartment is not my favorite place to settle-in but when I needed a place to rent for my family, and with the rising cost of living in our county, Vintage Ridge came to mind as my first choice of apartment to move-in. I live here 9 years ago and I also know a friend who live here before I did. I must say, the management before and the management now have been nothing but caring and compassionate to its renters. The community is very quiet and well-kept. Communication with your landlord is very important as it helps her understand whatever issues you have as a tenant. I agree that the complex is next to the community park, where the homeless encampment been out of control. However, that should not be blamed to the complex. The management as far as I know, do their best to keep this place quiet, safe, and maintained and provide their tenants privacy and respect unlike when renting with a house owner who walk all over your rented house and feel as if no renters there. In all my tenancies, Vintage Ridge is by far surpassed other apartments when it comes to quality of care, very humane, and compassionate with their renter as far as my experience here 9 years ago and until now as a resident. Communicating with your landlord who truly cares is the best rental management experience I have ever had in years as a local resident of Sonoma County.
These apartments are really well kept, and in a good community. Everyone is really nice and some people prefer to just smile and wave instead of talking to my husband and me. The inside of the apartment is gorgeous. Only thing that truly bugs me about this place is the spiders. I hate spideas with a passoon, but they seem to find a way into each apartment here.
