DO NOT LIVE HERE! I cannot express enough how awful this place is. Where to start? When I moved in the shower was missing the shower head. The stove was missing knobs. The fridge would go warm and cold and warm, causing items to freeze and thaw which ruined numerous items. The ice tray in the freezer didn't work. There was a leak with the kitchen sink. The washing machine at the cold and hot hoses mixed up which ruined a few shirts because it would rinse the clothes in extremely hot water. When they corrected it they found a crack in one of the hoses. I couldn't have hot water last more than 10 minutes in the shower despite them "fixing" it 3 times. Experience an ant infestation. My apartment flooded twice. It took over a year before they "fixed" my window in my bedroom that didn't lock. Took quite a while despite the fact I was located on the 1st floor. They fixed it by wedging a stick in place. The property does not care about anyone. Good luck getting them to email or call you back. When I inquired about lease renewals, since it was 1 week before the 60 day notice to vacate was due they couldn't give a true answer as to when they would be received but said to expect them within 1 - 2 days. I got an alert 2 week before I was leaving with the renewal options. Railings would rust off the stairs leaving jagged areas. I would have to call the office monthly about replacing dog poop bags. The dog poop bags would sit empty for weeks with dog poop piling in the grass as they did nothing. The sad part of this, it isn't even everything negative I experienced. Please do not live here. If you live here after reading this, please know you were warned.

Resident for 1 year, payed all bills up till lease, never had any issues, sent 60 day notice in. Come to find out at the end of my lease, they haven't received a 60 day notice, and they decided not to inform me on this until the last month, stating I would then have to pay 2 more months of rent. How is this legal? I have email documentation of a notice being sent on the 60 day mark. Besides that, do not move here. The price is absolutely ABYSMAL for the size of the apartment and quality. The landscape is made up of 50% dog poop, 30% dirt, 20% grass. If you ever have an issue with anything regarding your apartment, be sure to expect the assistant manager to make zero sense out of her own statements.

We lived there for a year not so good. Someone stole our lamp on the porch. Then, left bunch of food in front our door. Gym equipment broke. When we move out they wouldn’t refund our deposit. We kept everything very clean and didn’t put hole on the wall bedside 4 small floating shelves.we schedule for a move out inspection, my husband waited for 2hrs.no one show up. Not worth it! I didn’t even mention someone trying to steal our bike also. Also, you have to pay rent in person or they’ll charge fee if you pay online etc.. so usually my husband leave work in between not convenient.

It's a shame that most of the reviews here are positive while my neighbors and I clearly are upset with Lamplight. They are renovating and they keep giving specific dates only to break them. It's been 4 weeks since my balcony was meant to be painted and it looks awful, half done eyesore. The workers they hired are LAZY and my neighbors and I have had things stolen from us by them. Now they are repairing the pavement and forcing us all to move our cars out of our paid parking spots (or get towed). And who knows if the repairs will even happen the days and times they said they would. Not to mention they've switched towing companies three times and are very tow-happy. I see new tow stickers daily. It's really going down hill here and is becoming just like the apartments around the area. Trashy. No communication.

DO NOT , DO NOT, DO NOT move to this apartment complex. Nobody knows what they are doing, and the staff in the office are so rude and careless! If you need something done be prepared to go through a couple agenizing weeks of working with them, in which YOU will have to contact them every single time. I have never had such an unpleasant experience in renting as I did here. Nothing about this property is nice, when it comes to staff, living conditions, and a horrendous parking situation! ( this is just naming a few) Not to mention it has a reputation of frequent car break-ins! If you have the option, I would highly recommend finding a different complex to live!

I enjoyed the property when I first moved in and now can't wait to leave. New management staff has done a 180 with customer relations. Property is under construction which has it's down sides, but I appreciate the beautification. What I don't appreciate is how rude the new management staff has been since the property was sold to new owners. Not worth living here, renters beware!

This is the worst complex experience that we have ever had. Once Griffis Blessing took over, it went downhill immediately. 1) Can't fix an appliance on time. Our washer stopped working during the first week of them taking over. Went to the office, they said that they should be here before the weekend starts. They never come. Monday comes and the maitenance guy (who no longer works there) claimed that "someone may have came Friday MAYBE but can't prove it." Then he told me that the key didn't work and asked me to borrow mine to copy it. He said "see? doesn't work" and proceeds to try his key in the door to prove it doesn't work. The key worked fine. After dealing with this dumb back-and-forth, guy says it's the agitator definitely and needs to order the part. Will take a few days. Turns out, none of that is true. They need to have the washer company come and fix it because it's under warranty. They told me that they could not switch it with a working one and fix it elsewhere, we paid rent for this washer and drier and they thought it was okay to NOT have a washer for 10 days up to this point. tl;dr took 20 days for a working washer 2) Bugs. Our downstairs neighbors were disgusting and clearly ran a restaurant out of their apartment. Constantly frying food and loading it into their food van. Clear as day. Office did not care even though it was not zoned. They had employees come back and forth to this apartment all day and all night. Drinking beer outside, leaving trash everywhere. Dragging their trashbags from inside all the way to the dumpster leaving a trash juice line that never got washed away. 3) Construction. They started replacing every single window and roof in the entire complex building by building methodically. This ruined the quality of life from before Thanksgiving to after Christmas. It is probably still going on. They did this under the guise of saying that people were complaining about the draft and roof leaking. Not saying it wasn't the case even though out of the 4-5 apartments we have been in (between moving and friends) no one complained about either. The drafts were exactly the same after the new windows. They only did them so they were going to match the new paint job they want to do.

Ever since the new company took over the service has been awful. The office is closed CONSTANTLY. They have two office parties which means they are closed two days extra this month. And they dont even give the residents parties anymore. Meanwhile the office gets to have two. Last management company would FIND EXCUSES to throw parties with pizza. These people only want their $$$ and don't want to give us anything. They actually took away things that we used to have with the old owners. And one less day a week they are open. And enjoy constant construction, police and ambulances since it is right next to a cheap hotel.

Hello future renters! I currently have lived at Lamplight for 5 years and don't ever recall anything discouraging here. I am not too sure as to what this other persons problem is with writing reviews. Yes there are new roofs going in which were long over due since my roof has leaked twice in the past year. I am scheduled to get my new windows on Friday and couldn't be happier since the current ones are so worn and leak cold air. I have watched the window people put the windows on the building across from us and they seem to look really good and sharp. The gals in the office are always so friendly and polite and when I see them while I am walking my dog they always say hello even the maintenance guys will stop by and ask how things are going or if I need any work orders put in. I would definitely recommend living here especially if you are looking for something on the north end of town and reasonable.
Positive reviews of Lamplight most likely came before it was sold to Griffis Blessing in the summer of 2017. What was once a nice place to live with a caring staff is now a construction zone where workers make crazy loud noise 6 days a week starting first thing in the morning. If you work from home or work nights, you will not be happy living here. Management is easily annoyed if you have an issue with your neighbors and when the problem doesn't get fixed and you have to keep reminding them, they get vengeful and try to shut you up. Take your money somewhere else where it's appreciated and stay away from Lamplight.

I have lived here several years and just cant believe the great new changes! After 2 years of waiting for a new roof..... They have replaced all the roofs in the complex and started installing new windows!!!! I am just so amazed by this new company and the great office staff! They staff is always so friendly and say hello to everyone in the community and seem like they truly care! Kuddos! Definitely does not go unnoticed.
