Be careful when dealing with them. Recently during initial discussion they lured us by telling that they will provide parking space capable of tandem parking for 2 cars at no additional cost Then after completing application they stop replying and then send 100 usd cost for 2 cars
But I never feel safe. The cars get broken into, the mailboxes get broken into, packages get stolen on the daily, there is poor security, poor management that doesn’t listen to the residents, management doesn’t do anything to improve safety, management doesn’t take suggestions from multiple residents, my rent was increased by $600 at the last renewal and they refused to negotiate, and the dang garage gate is broken constantly…fixed for one week and then broken again for another month. Avoid vista 99
One of the most poor management apt that I ever seen in my life. 99 vista management is only making excuse to not do their job and charge you any chance they have. 1- Low quality services: I had to submit repair request for dishwasher more than 6 times until they change the dishwasher pump 2- No safety, garage door being broken all the time and instead of fixing the garage door, they just locked the door access to stairs from 1st floor for safety measure 3- Mandatory trash value and ridiculous trash charges which equal if you were living in a house instead of apartment 4- Not paying referral bonus. I referred a tenant and after 5-6 months, they are refusing to pay my referral bonus. 5- As soon as you give your notice, they stop the min services like printing due to privacy measure 6- there wasn’t supposed be any charge for paint if I move out after 2 years. now they are charging me for the paint after 2 years of normal wear and tear. 7- When I gave my notice, I requested to be present for the final but they came when I wasn’t in the apt. no privacy
Bad office staff, they don’t care about the resident, they only care about money. Bad neighborhoods, some neighbors play very loud music 3am in the morning, reported to the office 3 times but they take no action on it. And the parking spot is so limited, I always cannot find a parking spot near the apartment and end up parking somewhere else in 15 minutes walking distance. Stay away from this apartment!!!
The apartment facility is OK, but the management is not good. There were always car break-ins and package lost cases, but the management team didn't do anything. In addition, they just increase the trash fee significantly recently.
They reached out to me within an hour of me expressing interest to arrange a virtual tour, which was ok. Yes, virtual tours are a must, so all good here. There was a mix up regarding the availability of my unit which was totally not their fault, but they were patient with helping me find an alternative unit, even going as far as allowing me to view 4 units on 2 different visits. Yes, the mailroom can be a little bit of a challenge intially, but as you familiarize yourself with the system it all works out at the end. Thanks Monique!! The valet garbage team was super helpful with showing me how to properly place the bins and boxes in front of my door. Our building's cleaning lady works super hard and consistently sanitizes high contact areas.
Management routinely looses packages and does not address ongoing issues on the property. I have ants every year and their solution was to give me a can of RAID (didn't work). They will also start new programs that aren't in the lease in order to collect more income from residents. We now pay 2 trash fees for "trash valet" which residents have started petitions to cancel--management doesn't care. The hallways smell like trash and it makes the ant problem worse.
Like most of these other reviews state, this apartment complex is not safe. There are no cameras to monitor the premises, only the entrances of the garages. People are constantly walking in through the garage entrances and snooping around the property. There is usually just one security guard, who is really old and smokes all the time - so they cant help you. When it's not him, the others just sit in the car, inside the locked parking lot, not monitoring the property. Alan was the previous property manager, he sucked. The current property manager, Samantha, sucks too. She acts really nice to your face, but she is full of lies. Document everything because they have super short memories and only want your money.
I am a vista 99 resident, and all I can tell you if you are thing on moving in, do not come to vista 99 or think twice. The trash rooms are always full of trash and not clean at all. But every month I MUST pay for TRASH SERVICES....It's like a joke.... The building is not safe at all. I was robbed and other people living here too. The management is not helpful at all, and don't take care at all. The only things they have on top of mind is to rent the apts. So now I am waiting to move out to other apts. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE to live.
I moved into Vista 99 apartments in April of this year and so far have loved living here. The hallways and elevators and community areas are cleaned daily, except weekends, which makes it a very clean environment. My experience is that the neighbors keep to themselves, which has nothing to do with the apartment complex itself. I love having the bbq area and pool available. Great place to live.
Reviewed apartments three times. Tina leasing agent is fantastic! We reviewed entire property along with review of properties we were interested in, all the amenities, VERY clean each time we visited. Plan on moving in soon. Tina even took time to answer all our questions and take us thru the leasing process. Every lease place has issues, but so far all good. Looking forward to calling it home. Also love the 30 day guarantee, though I don't want to have to move again, though does give some comfort in such an important step in life.
I am currently a resident at Vista 99. Recently there was theft in the parking lot. One of the families' car got stolen, and the other was a break-in into my car, wherein not only my car was damaged to a great extent, but also belongings were stolen. On requesting for the CCTV footage from the management, Monica, the leasing consultant was unaware of the location of the cameras. It's been 5 days now and the management is still without any update for either of the families. They parking lot has 2 security gates equipped with security cameras (as told to us when we rented the apartment) and with a security car outside, who was as usual not present even when the incident took place. On asking for answers from the management, Monica says there is not point of even looking at the cameras and then asks to leave the office. There are multiple such incidents taking place here, in which residents are being troubled by intrusion of outsiders - for e.g. incidents such as harassment by drunk people trying to get into the apartment after getting into the community have also taken place. I would suggest not to rent here due to major concerns of safety and security, and then lack of support by the management and their laid back attitude towards such incidents.
Whatever you do, do NOT have Monica Hill assist you when you come here for visiting this apartment community. I have seen dozens of apartments in the last few years, but not a single leasing agent has managed to match the arrogance and insolence of Monica. I went there with my wife with a mindset of signing the lease, as I had researched the apartment community before visiting. But Monica tried everything in her capacity to not make the sale. We came there on time for our scheduled appointment last week. The other agent who was supposed to show us the place was busy with another customer. To our deep misfortune, her place was filled by Monica. She was hostile from the first word and gave every indication that she really, really hated her job. She refused to show us anything more than a ground-floor apartment, despite us wanting to see the other amenities like the swimming pool, community center, etc. Her excuse was that 'we are still under construction', whereas we were told that we would be shown everything at time of scheduling the meeting. At the very least, any human being with a half a milligram of decency would have apologized in this situation, but you guessed it right! Clearly, Monica wouldn't come anywhere near doing that. Instead, she condescendingly just drove us away with the typical smugness "you should be aware that things change in a construction environment". The level of obnoxiousness was just over-whelming; something you can never imagine from a sales-person in your wildest dreams.
