Property Ratings at Vista at Park Row
I scheduled a Virtual Tour at this property at 1:00 PM on 3/4/21. However, 10 minutes before that tie I call to confirm the procedure to follow. At 1:00 PM some called me and told me that beacuse of heavy schedule, someone will be calling me at 1:45 PM. I had to accomodate again my schedule for the new time frame. At 2:30 PM as noody contacted me, I left a message letting them know that I have los interest based on the disrespect with my time. At 2:35 PM Ashley called me to apologized, after my call, and told me taht she had been very busy. I have lost interest in this property because as any bad relationship it is starting with the wrong foot. Thanks god thaere are other good options in town which are really interested in my business. This is a warning sign for all residents of this Complex.
Overall a very nice place to live. Close to everything and office staff is very helpful. Unfortunately, lately there has been problems in the parking garage with tires being stolen and this week, 20 cars had their windows broken and cars ransacked. There are NO security cameras in the multilevel parking garage which is concerning. For such a nice facility with security gates and rent prices as they are, one would think that safely in the parking garage would also be a priority.
The apartments are full of bugs, asian roaches and hugeeeeee american roaches. The grounds are unsanitary and filled with even more cockroaches, some waiting by your door for you to get home.. its disgusting. Oh and the pest control you pay for every month is completely ineffective. They have some guy spray in the corner then he leaves. Oh and if you talk to management about it they completely ignore you, Angela is the worst. Do not live here if you have asthma or allergies. The nasty roaches make it worst. Oh and if you have small children or pets the pesticides are not safe for them so you will have to find other ways to control the roaches.

You may or may not be aware that our community does back up to the Addicks Reservoir and core wetlands; which is a natural habitat for wide variety of pest. Due to the warmer climate of Houston and the lack of a colder temperature in the near future, we have taken additional measures to extensively treat and bait the exterior of the community as well as weekly treatments in the corridors. I looove living at The Heights! Great place for all community segments, Business Professionals, Families, Students, Dog Lovers, i.e. The complex is conveniently and strategically located alongside the Energy Corridor, at the intersection of two major highways I-10 & 6, but also with the beauty of being surrounded by green areas, a little creek and a trail for the runners. The place is new, the pool area and the business center, outstanding, it even has a super nice meeting room... nice! The Manager, Sales Advisors and Staff are always there to meet my needs far exceeding my expectations. Thank you!!!
The Heights at Park Row clear claims on their website to be a “PET FRIENDLY COMMUNITY”. WE are planning a move to Houston and scheduled 7 apartment community visits for this past Saturday. Our 10-pound dog made the trip to Houston with us and hence went on all of the apartment visits with us. We, including our dog, were welcomed at 6 of the 7 communities. Upon arrival at the Heights at Park Row, we were promptly asked, “is he a service dog?” We told them no, we were told that dogs are not allowed in the office & clubhouse because some residence are deathly afraid of dogs”. I have to question, if you are deathly afraid of dogs, why would you move to a dog friendly apartment community? We obviously left upon hearing this news and were called by Carrie, the leasing agent, shortly after leaving asking why we left. Really? Did she think we were going to leave our dog in the car? I wouldn’t do this under any conditions, but especially not in 90 degree Houston heat. Beyond the dog policy, the location is not great. While they claim to be in the Houston Energy Corridor, the east end of Park Row on the north side of I-10. All of the other apartments we visited were south of I-10. From what we could see, it was a newer apartment community, but there was not much around the community. We went to another 4 apartment communities on Sunday and not one refused to allow our dog in. In fact, most offered our dog a doggie treat and welcomed him with open arms. If you are looking for a true dog friendly apartment in the Houston Energy Corridor, there are better choices in our opinion.

Our apologies for you and your wife’s negative experience last weekend at The Heights at Park Row. While we are a “pet friendly” community we do have residents who live within our communities who elect not to have a pet. To ensure a quality living experience, for all pet lovers and non-pet lovers, we do have a policy of no pets in the “common areas” of the community. While setting your appointment if you had shared with us that you wanted to bring your dog on the tour, we certainly could have been better prepared to have a conversation beforehand or make reasonable accommodations. Our Leasing Consultant did provide options/recommendations to accommodate you and your wife a tour. We certainly never would suggest leaving your dog unattended in a car. Please accept our apologies if this was not communicated clearly. Please feel free to call me directly at 281-293-9700 if you would like to discuss your experience here at The Heights at Park Row.
