Vista Imperio Apartments

Such a terribly managed apartment. Their poor maintenance caused a huge leak in my apartment and I couldn't get ahold of anybody for hours. I had inches of water covering my floor and I couldn't use my apartment for days, and neither could my downstairs neighbor. They refused to pay for a hotel and insisted I use my apartment insurance to cover the cost (which was several hundred dollars for me to use). Also, once you reach the end of your lease, they jack up the prices exorbitantly. I decided to move out instead of accepting the $400 increase in my rent. When they put my unit back on the market, it was BELOW the price I was originally paying. Obviously the markup wasn't due to fluctuations in the market - just their greed. Now, a year after I've moved out, I found out that a collection agency is after me. I've not received any notification of bills due by Vista Imperio via phone or email and I can't get a hold of them to explain what this charge is for. I assume it is yet another mistake due to poor management.

Very poor management. Slow or nonexistent communication from leasing office. They would often forget about set appointments we had with them. Leasing manager was often “unavailable” or “not in today” causing delays in anything we needed to get done. Their online payment portal rarely worked which resulted in extra fees we had to pay every month (credit card fee or cashiers check). Management expected us to be available in the middle of the day on a workday to do the exit walk through. Leasing office Staff would show up late and leave early. Parking was always very difficult. I would not recommend Vista Imperio to anyone looking to rent. Rent here is way too high for what you get and staff is very inflexible on negotiating. The only positive is that the Maintenance guy was great, kind, and always helpful.

I moved in with a lengthly list of repairs that should have been done prior to occupancy. They have been good about fixing things promptly, but why wasn't the place checked before I moved in. Why wasn't there a proper walk through. From a broken garbage disposal to no hot water, it took almost two weeks to fix things that should have been done before move in. The apartment was not clean (understatement. The filth in the neighborhood and inability of management to deal with neighbor issues is a problem. The dog waste stations have not been emptied since I moved in and are overflowing. I awake every day to cigarettes on my patio. Smoking is not allowed. Now I'm afriad because the neighbor seems to be retaliating against my complaining about the multiple cigarette butts on my patio every day. I'm really sorry I moved here. The only positive is the attached garage.

Good place overall, very close to everything,shopping malls, grocery, freeway right away, complex does need cleaning maintenance, I have little kids and cleanliness is a must

I've lived at Vista Imperio for over 11 years, and through management and name changes, it has improved every step of the way. They're been especially helpful during all of the challenges we've faced during the COVID pandemic. I would not hesitate to recommend it was a good place to live for singletons, families (and pets!).

Unfortunately during Covid and under this pandemic federal and state guidelines there is not much chance to develop and nurture a community. Everyone is a stranger this the community feels unsafe. How doesn’t feel unsafe when you don’t know your Neighdoor.

Affordable luxury, convenient location near freeways, shopping centers, and various other community services. Lots of amenities including pool with spa, fitness and weight room, trash valet service, and secure parcel lockers for deliveries.

Do not live here. Pretty apartments. But good luck if you need anything fixed. If you need to speak with management. If you need to talk with anyone in the office. You can count on them never answering the phone EVER. Spend your money elsewhere.

I was satisfied by the whole experience living within a small community. The staff is/was always pleasant.

Vista imperio has great potential but is thwarted by useless front office, mandatory trash valet that cant do the simplest job, always making a mess or leaving massive amounts of trash behind

I have lived at Vista Imperio for 10 years and have experienced several name changes of the complex and many staff changes. The lastest staff changes are, by far, the best. Hope to stay here many more years.

I have experienced poor customer service and have been living in a trash infested environment for the past 2 years. I do not feel safe here. I would not recommend this complex to anyone I care about.

Great staff in front office. Vanessa for sure. A couple of names I don't remember or know their names. Head Maintenance person is Kind, thoughtful, and very helpful!

I've lived at Vista Imperio for over 10 years and gone through several management changes with the office and maintenance personnel. Every change has been an improvement, and the current staff (office and maintenance) is exceptional in every way. They should be rewarded for their excellent job. I also would like to thank the new management team at Greystar for their ongoing improvements to the property. They have made it an even nicer place to call home.

We liked the location of the complex, we are a short drive from everything we'd need, and we really loved how clean the apartment was when we moved in; especially kitchen appliances.

I just moved here out of the area and I was very skeptical since I am not familiar with this area yet… The staff are absolutely amazing, specifically Jordyn. She was very reassuring and honest with every question I had. They exceeded expectations with the great detail they have put into the upgrades of my apartment. Everyone in the complex is friendly and quiet. I have never been happier while renting!

The only reason I renewed my lease another year is because of the amazing women that run the leasing office. What a team they are, they make me feel like family and treat me like I'm their only resident. Thank you Stacey and Jordan, you're the BEST!
