The apartment itself has paint dumped on most of the base boards. Patio and breezeway are deplorable. Things are not fixed but rigged to make look good.

Renter Beware.... They will send you a notice to tell you that you owe "x" amount. You pay "x" amount and the day before its due. 6 days later you'll get a notice on your door saying your rent is due, and they then charge you a late fee. They take no accountability for the error and offer you to waive 50% of the fee vs acknowledging their own error by sending an inaccurate rental invoice to be paid. I'm still living here for at least the month so I'll be sure to keep a close eye regarding their unethical monthly billing practices. I'll be sure to post an additional review regarding how they handle the move out.

We follow the terms in the lease contract signed when assessing charges. After you left I requested a copy of your bill to better understand what went wrong. We did notice that the rent itemize line states "Rent - July - Contact Property for Lease Charges." The resident portal is also available to you 24/7 for your detail review of the charges assessed on the 1st of the month as stated on your lease. We are disappointed to hear that you are still not satisfied with our response.

Everywhere you go there's dog poop. Going to check the mail? Watch for the dog poop. Heading to your car? Watch for the dog poop! Going for a run and wondering what that smell is? You guessed it.... dog poop! If you don't mind the dog poop, it is an okay place to live.

We apologize that your living experience with us has been anything less than top notch. We are a pet friendly community and rely a great deal on our residents to be responsible pet owners and clean up after their pets. If you see an area that needs some additional attention, please contact the front office so we may send someone over to address it.
I originally wrote a positive review which is posted below. However, I found out that maint. was entering my apartment without my permission on a regular basis. They lied about it and I have proof. I am a single woman who lives alone. I felt very violated. I moved. I don't recommend this place.
Water bill is based on how many residents are occupying the apartment that month. they charge almost 40$ per-person in the household. My water bill is almost 200.00$ a month. With my electric only running 85$. Would be a great place, but they should not charge that much for water, like I'm living in a house.
Living at Vista Lago has been everything I've ever wanted. The office and maintenance staff are professional and friendly. The service has been wonderful. I am centrally located to everything, just a few minutes away from work, entertainment, beaches, parks, restaurants, and shopping. The amenities are many and kept in pristine condition. The apartment itself is modern and comfortable. I would highly recommend this community to anyone.

Feels like a resort! I look forward to coming home from work and relaxing at home in my apartment. The attention to detail of each apartment is amazing. The crown moulding and painted walls add a sophistication I haven't had in previous apartments. The entire community is surrounded by palm trees, lakes and well manicured grounds. The pool is located right outside of the fitness center and if I really want to get active, there are sand volley ball and tennis courts directly across from the pool. The staff is wonderful- there are always community activities available including Food Truck invasions, group art events, and pizza nights! There's so much to do without leaving the property. But if you do leave, you'll realize that the community is in the perfect location because we're located within walking distance of a nature preserve, a few miles from major shopping and entertainment in West Palm Beach. I love the fact that we're located in a quiet area in town but we're close enough to connect to almost everything if we need it!

Great pool and barbecue area. Ample parking. You have the choice of a sun room or screened in patio. I chose the patio, which I love. I have a one bedroom that is very spacious with high ceilings. It's a very quiet community. It is also very pet friendly!

Fortking colony is a great place to live not only is the staff friendly but the apartments are great the pool on the other hand needs cleaning and the kid Park needs some work other then that it's great I would not move to another place the people that live here are very nice and friendly and they have great activities for the hole family to enjoy what I love the most is that it's very affordable and I could not ask for a better apartment
