Property Ratings at Vista Verde
I have lived in Vista Verde for a little over a year & I feel like I've officially been here long enough to write a review. The maintenance workers are incredible, they're so respectful & always make sure I am comfortable when they are in my apartment (I am a younger female living alone). Work orders are usually filled within a few days. My neighbors are nice & overall its been a comfortable experience. However, the air conditioner does NOT reach my bedroom, so my door is always open trying to grab air from the living room. Also, it has frozen up a few times & leaked all through the carpet. & guess what? If mold develops, then I have to pay for it. There are rats under a pillar outside my apartment door & they have NOT been taking care of. Even though myself, & my neighbors have complained. They get into our trash valet & then we get letters on our doors saying to tie up our trash bags???? It's not us, its the rats. Also don't be fooled by the "amenities", they're all mediocre (gym, game room, etc). My sister also lives in the complex, a few buildings away, & she always has to park super far away from her apartment, which is not very safe for her... I live in the front, near the office, & I usually do not have problems parking. I moved out of my mom's house straight into this apartment, so I don't have much to compare to.. these are just the things that I have experienced living here. I hope this review helps!
I've been living in Vista Verde for a little over a year. My experience has been fairly positive. Robby in the office is amazing & whenever i send in a work order it is filled fairly quickly. However there is no ventilation in my bathroom & i was advised to shower with the window open or else i would be charged for mold. Also, there are rats under neath a pillar outside my front door which is a problem with the trash valet bin. They installed new carpet before i moved in which is really nice.
I live here since May 2016. At begging was good. Now it is the bad experience I have lived. I renew my contract with the promise to change all the carpet. The carpet is really bad. The manager authorized to change only one part .It is crazy. The smell is really bad on bedrooms where the carpet was not replace. There is more than 2 months I have ask to reolace. Always is changing manager they lie every time. The gym has a bad smell like a died animal inside. I hope they read this and take a change.
Terrible Maintenance, terrible staff. Nothing gets fixed. They lie to your face. Only Good thing was location.
This place goes down with the new team more people on maintenance but less work get done in the office never pick up the phone. And they are constantly ricing up the rent every time you renew I’m moving out!
Rented a 2/2 at a pretty decent price. The unit itself was very large with a great setup, the bedrooms are separated by the kitchen and living area so it was great for roommates, as opposed to a lot of other properties I've lived in. Very quiet area, probably the best sleep I've had in an apartment building thus far. Now the negative: We had a neighor who was a long time resident, who was a very nice person, but insisted on coming by to chat with us on a daily basis which started getting really weird. Parking is IMPOSSIBLE. Always had to park at the front of the complex and walk the entire way to the back. It was a nice neighborhood somewhat bordering on a bad one so it got a little creepy at times walking in the poorly lit parking lot late at night. The air conditioning unit had a tendency to freeze over and leak water all over the floor and would take an exceptionally long time to fix, as apparently this was a problem at all of the units. No AC in FL is not really an acceptable thing. Finally what caused me to move out was coming home from work to a giant RAT jumping down into my sink. The complex sent an exterminator and it was never seen again, but he did manage to tell me that my particular unit had a rat problem before so keep an eye out. No thank you.
Leasing MANAGER freaked out when I asked for clarification on what documents were needed for my Service Dog, she wouldn't clarify what 'registry' he needed to be on (since no state or legal registry exists) and she also added she wouldn't accept him as an emotional support animal because that's how she ends up with torn up carpets.... As a person with MS who has rented blissfully with a trained SA/ESA for two years, I'm LIVID. Why don't you guys check up on the ADA laws before you get yourself a lawsuit...
Beautifully landscaped property tucked away on hiawassee rd in metro west on the golf course. Quieter refuge in busy Orlando, or it was when we moved in. The outside is really pretty, Spanish style, ceramic tile roofs & a ton of lush tropical landscaping . Each building is smaller with few units in them versus one large building with a hundred units. While the outside is very nice the inside of the units are lacking, they are very outdated and do not have any high end finishes. The floors are linoleum, counters are a weird sprayed on surface and the appliances are cheap. The units have a unique layout that you have to be very creative to make work. All that being said we were able to find a nice tucked away unit just off the golf course which makes it much quieter than some others. Each unit seems to have a nice balcony or patio but unfortunately they all face the parking lot. The location is very convenint with access to shopping nearby and close to both I4 & the 408. To one side of us is nice, higher end neighborhoods & couple blocks to the other side the neighborhoods are way lower end. The "hood" seems to be getting closer and closer. It doesn't feel as safe, often times there are non residents hanging around by the pool & on property. There was a bag snatched at the pool & someone injured. Several residents now have larger dogs they don't leash or clean up after. Previous management seemed to do a better job screening the tenants. Loud music, loud cars and late night loud conversations & get togethers seem to of replaced once peaceful considerate neighbors. The current management like to post threatening letters instead of focusing on bringing in quality residents. The previous property manager was sweet & sincere & definitely part of the reason we moved in. As for the amenities, there's nothing that stands out, there's a nice shallow pool and a jacuzzi that rarely works . A very limited small gym and a billiards room that you can't access once the office is closed for the day. So, there's good and bad. While the overall quality is slipping & the rent is steadily increasing, we still enjoy the convenience, outside space & beautiful sunsets over the golf course.
This apartment is all you need to call home away from home. It's very spacious and comfortable with a very unique fireplace in which I happen to love. These apartments actually has the look of a house with red hacienda roofs. You have all the basic amenities and more. The grounds are beautifully maintain and surrounded with tropical landscape with waterfalls that really sets it off. You even have a choice of screen- in patios which gives it a real personal touch and privacy. Sometimes I spend more time on the patio/balcony than inside the apartment. Being located in the metro area makes it easier and convenient getting to and from restaurants and several attractions and malls. People here are very friendly including the staff. I am very please with my new apartment home and would recommend this to those who are still looking. Thank you, Ms Smith
