Property Ratings at Vita Tysons Corner
I’ve had a terrible experience living at Vita. First off, the maintenance is practically non-existent. The noise levels are ridiculous too. I can hear my neighbors’ conversations, music, and even their alarm clocks through the walls. Management doesn’t seem to care about noise complaints either. On top of that, the complex is constantly dirty. Trash is often piled up around the dumpsters, and the hallways smell terrible. The parking situation is a nightmare as well. There are never enough spaces, and I’ve been forced to park on the street more times than I can count, which feels unsafe at night. Overall, Vita has been a huge disappointment. The rent is far too high for the lack of quality and attention from management. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Rude staff as well as run down living spaces and common areas. Better options for same price, will be leaving.
I will be moving out to nearby new rental properties. Vita don’t keep up with maintenance of the building and expect to charge the same as newer buildings in the area.
I have been a resident of VITA for 4 years so it pains me to write this review but it is much deserved. When I first moved to VITA in late 2017 it was a beautiful community. Today, it is far from this. The property has made NO updates since the opening in 2015. The gym equipment is old and broken, the furniture in lounging areas is old not to mention the old rotting cushions on the roof and outside of the gym. The carpet in hallways is nearly 10 years old with dog pee throughout. I have voiced these concerns to management along with several other residents and to date no changes have been made. Recently they implemented new rules where you cannot get delivery to your door so now we have to wait on the mostly non working elevators (there is always a broken elevator) to go to the concierge desk to pickup food and groceries which is a huge inconvenience. Really disappointed in the community overall and highly do NOT recommend it.
Been here for over a year and love the location and building! The metro access is amazing and everyone who works on the property is the best! Would recommend to anyone!
My neighbors and the staff are very excellent moving in has exceeded my expectations I would like to thank all the members of the staff for doing an amazing work
Awesome building so far! Close to all grocery stores, steps from the metro, and of course across the gorgeous plaza from the best shops and restaurants in the area. Parking is easy and safe, the gym is great, and there is plenty of room in common areas to work or lounge quietly or with friends/family.
The front desk staff is amazing. I’ve seen all the work they do and they always greet me with kindness and are willing to help anytime I need something.
Great experience living at Vita; wonderful community while being close to many shopping and grocery options. The only downside would be that there is no charging for electric cars.
Vita is probably the most comfortable, quiet, and convenient place I have ever lived. Despite sharing walls with neighbors I have never heard any noise through the walls. The maintenance team is top-notch and requesting service through the app is super easy. I've never waited longer than 24 hours for a maintenance request to be fulfilled. Having the Metro and the Mall co-located cuts down on driving and adds to the convenience. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because every couple months there is an issue with one or more elevators and the wait times go up for a week or two. Still, I very much enjoy living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in the area.
Living at Vita is awesome! The amenities are unmatched, management and maintenance are responsive to concerns, people are friendly, and there is always something happening on the plaza.
Great staff, and strong amenities. However, with some of the wear & tear (such as elevator issues, gym equipment not being replaced, hallway lighting being broken, locks on the doors not working properly) it is a bit more expensive than it should be.
Good amenities, metro especially and clean, neat facility! I love the view of my unit outside of the window. So comfort to walk to the plaza, shopping / meeting friend.
I love living here. Great staff and security and maintenance crew. Great Management!!!!I love the flowers and scent of the building. Everything always gets taken care of right away. Great community and communications.
Vita management are the stars! My experience was filled with gracious hospitality from each member of the Gables team. Especially upper management and their constant effort to ensure a positive experience regardless of how difficult tenant experience becomes during the stay at Vita. Great Job Team!
I've been here for years due to the great location. The only thing is the elevators work on and off. Also the dogs that pee in the elevators need to be addressed.
A lot of facilities could be improved a lot, especially the elevators that are regularly down for some reasons. On a bad day, it could take up to 10 minutes to get you down from the higher floors. And there are a lot of bad days lately. The maintenance team did a good job fixing things in your apartment though.
Been here for about year and half . Michelle has been great . Sometimes there might be a small problem with smelling smoke however , the team is right on it . Great team
Spacious room and lots of storage spaces. Rooms are very new and soundproof is good. Lounge space and gym are easy to access. However, the equipment at the gym is a little bit old. An update of the equipment would be very good.
Vita is a great place to live with lots of amenities and really close to restaurants the mall and other things in the Tysons area. this week, the Cirque du Soleil circuses in town, which makes it a great, then you really close to Vita.
Location , location.. the best location in the heart of Tyson’s everything else to follows . I like the unit as well. Everything you need and plaza activity as well.
Vita is really a wonderful apartment and it is really great to live here. There's full fitness equipment and a rooftop pool. The condo is very well equipped and the staff are all very nice. There is a subway station and mall downstairs. The apartment also organizes events for the residents from time to time. I really like the Vita.
The front desk and security at Vita Tysons have been incredibly helpful and friendly! I also can't say enough about how much we appreciate Olivia who showed us our apartment and took care of our lease agreement, etc. You have an excellent team and we're excited to be here!
I just moved in last week. However, so far, the amenities are wonderful, pedestrian proximity to the mall and metro are unrivaled, and neighbors are quiet and friendly! The management staff and maintenance team are great as well - we had a hot water issue that was fixed immediately upon notifying the building.
Love the staff. They are very responsive to maintenance requests and resident issues. I’ve lived here almost 2 years and I’m not thinking about moving.
I just moved in two days ago. First Impressions are: Location is great and staff are friendly. Overall the building is clean. Needs improvement: 1) Elevator wait times are terrible during normal daytime hours. 1 of the 5 cars is out of service for repairs/inspection. Hopefully this improves the wait times once it is back in service. 2) Parking garage transponder system is terrible. You have to keep backing up or pulling forward and waving the parking card around to get it to recognize and open the gates. A more reliable option would be to install pedestal readers at the drivers side window level to improve the reliability of the access control readers. 3) Loading dock level and garage levels smell ( most likely due to the dumpster locations.) 4) Concierge desk needs more than 1 person during peak morning and evening times to handle requests for packages and general assistance
The management is good, very accommodating. the management does their best to provide the best service. The rooms are clean and spacious with a good layout. The area is nice as well.
Many non-residence/visitors without access key ride elevator. Especially to rooftop and pool. For security issue, it should be controlled and limited. Like ID check or residency check.
Nice service and nice environment! The apartment provides free maintenance services and package collection services. The location is also good for both work commute and entertainment.
This building is beautiful and the location is unmatched. However, there is a terrible smoking issue that is not being addressed. The hallways and inside my home constantly smell of marijuana and cigarettes smoke.. apparently the vents are all connected in a way where you can smell what ever your neighbors are cooking and smoking. From my understanding, several residents have complained to no avail. It is really unfortunate, as I was so excited to move into this property.
Been here over a year and love it! Staff is amazing and the location is unbeatable. Concierge and maintenance staff are always attentive. Have had no issues to report!
The Management team is very responsive, caring and effectively communicates information clearly and concisely to tenants. Maintenance technicians are experienced, efficient, respectful, friendly and above all very honest. Gables is a superior management company that places tenant security at the top of their list as evidenced by the ever presence of security personal throughout the building.
Customer service some time wrong, but very convenience area. Good restaurants, shopping mall, Plaza Area is beautiful. And Tysons subway, bus stop area..
So far so good. Great staff, great amenities, great location. I have enjoyed getting to know the other residents (and their pets). Only downside is the gym is limited.
We experienced a lot of lack of communication and coordination when we moved in, causing a little uncertainty and frustration on our end. The leasing office is not coordinated with one another what so ever.
It feels safe here, i love how i have access to the mall. Recommendddd! The only part that I probably did not appreciate is the noise of traffic, or people making donuts with their cars. The rest has been great
Very friendly team and professional work. An excellent environment and full of activities. Everyone has something to do. Great location and amenities
I lived in Vita since May 2015. I was among the first residents at Vita. The place is very convenient and easy access to all stores, metro and close to the nation capital. The only difficulty we have is change of the management and to have access to them not easy at all.
VITA Tysons Corner Center, a wonderful place to live. it has great amenities. It’s very close to the mall. It’s close to the metro and it’s close to lotta shopping.
Located in the heart of Tysons, close to shopping malls, grocery and office. Convenient access to major highways and metro line. Been here for over 3 years and still enjoying this place!
it was a good experience but sometimes the cleaning isn’t the best. the garage trash cans are always full and the floors ain’t the elevator are sometimes dirty. otherwise pretty good
Staff are friendly and helpful, but building needs to clean more often. there are not enough people cleaning and all the elevator floors are dirty
I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Vita. I just renewed my lease for another year. The building is always clean and in the best location. Maintenance requests are also solved very quickly
This is the first time for me to live in an apartment, and it has been an amazing experience. I get to see so many cute pet friends in this apartment, and the people are nice here.
Great management, great amenities, great location! Management is very attentive and understanding. There’s a sports room, plenty of outdoor space, and a rooftop pool which are all kept clean and inviting. The location is right by the mall, metro, and several restaurants so it can’t be beat
Perfect location especially flying to DCA using the metro . Location. Location. Location that’s all matter ! You got everything you need !
I have been living at the Vita for a year and I just say that I have enjoyed every moment. I enjoy it so much that I have decided to renew my lease. The staff is courteous and prompt when replying to any issues. The maintenance staff is impeccable. Work orders are worked in a timely manner and the cleaning staff is very thorough and is always available. I highly recommend staying here because of the staff and not to mention the close proximity to public transportation and of course the mall!
So far the community itself has been refreshing and very warm welcoming! I love the views and the apartment is amazing. The convince in location is great and the staff is phenomenal
I am super pleased with the seamless move-in process. I am enjoying my new home with my two dogs. I love the convenience of restaurant and shopping.
It was an excellent experience working with Vita! The Service was Top Notch and the location is also fantastic - it's close to all of my favorite restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend Vita Apartments to anyone looking for a modern and comfortable living experience." and looking forward to living here.
