Blocks away from bustling downtown San Antonio, the Inner West Side is one of the city’s most historic communities. This vibrant community is full of early 1900s and post-war homes that make for an interesting contrast against the newer apartment developments in the downtown area. The Inner West Side is close to notable schools like Our Lady of the Lake University and St. Mary’s, and makes for a colorful escape from the daily goings of the city center.
Located just outside the original 36 mile perimeter, the Inner West Side neighborhood connects to the I-410 on its west side and TX-151 to the south.

Property Ratings at Vivid
I lived here back when it was Bell Tower ad at least they were honest and Kind, same maintenance man for years that you could trust. Recently they were bought out by new owners that think just cause they painted over old fixtures that it was suddenly worth thousands more. Office staff is rude. I once waited outside the office to pay a bill for over an hour only to have the front desk girl respond to flustered and overwhelmed that she actually had to do her job, I'm glad she doesn't work in the Medical field. The fitness center that they have is closed at five so if you work a regular work schedule don't expect to be able to utilize this amenity that only has one treadmill an elliptical and yoga balls that don't even fit in this room. A recently added BBQ pit to the pool area that hasn't been in service for over two years. A dog park but no play area for children even though this is a prime area for a family being that the elementary school is right next door. Basketball court/ tennis court.. the net for tennis is always tangled and they even lock this area during weekends as well as the entire summer because that's prime time for children to use it, so of course they close is. Laundry room that requires you to add money to a particular card, but if the office personnel aren't in the office you cant add money and oh well guess you cant wash, but that ok cause most of the equipment there doesn't even work. Heaven forbid your AC goes out during summer time like ours did, in which case they try rigging it more than 10 times so it works and breaks, works and breaks until they order a so called "new unit" that only looks older than the one that was broken and they replaced. They gave us small wall unit and expected it to cool the entire apartment, so we had to sleep in the living room for months.
Property Manager at Vivid, Responded To This Review
Hello. Thank you for sharing your experience. We apologize that your experience was not a positive one. I would like to address each of your concerns. In regards to our office staff, we apologize you waited for some time to pay your rent. Our staff is required to take a one hour daily break. During this time, they are to close the office post the time they will return. Our fitness center is open 24/7. The fitness center, pool, laundry room and sports court all have security code locks on the gates/doors that will allow you to enter/exit on your schedule. We welcome you to use our BBQ pit at the pool! It was recently built as part of our renovations and would love nothing more for you to be able to enjoy it. Just use your security code to enter. Regarding tennis/ basketball court - it is open and you may enter on the weekends as long as you have that gate code. Our office hours are from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday you may stop by during these times to add money to your laundry room card. The value adder for the machines is located in the office for security reasons. Research has shown that laundry rooms across the US have people trying to break in to the machines to take the coins. We have put machines to take a prepaid card for the added security. If the machines go out please come and let us know! You, the resident, use the machines not the office staff. If you inform us a machine has gone out we will contact the company that supplies the machines immediately to come repair it. We apologize your AC stopped working. As you had mentioned, we have recently hired a new maintenance staff to take care of any and all repair needs. Please feel free to give us a call (210) 684-7117 or stop by the office if you would like to discuss anything further. Best wishes, Vivid Management
Christina who is the leasing agent never mentioned any other fees or even the possibility of there being any fees after I told them my story up front. She said she spoke with the manager and they reviewed my information wich was ok with management. I then gave them a total of 350.00 dollars to hold an apartment to move in once I applied and turned in my documents. The next day they want to charge me a weird fee called a risk fee of 435.00 on top of what i already paid in addition to the usual prorated rent. That risk fee was never discussed or I would not have moved foward with the application. Worst service. There is no playground for the children and she mentioned that the kids can just jump over the fence to the neighboring school.Wow! They did not want to give me back my deposit since I could not continue because of that risk fee. Do not believe what they say or better yet do not rent with them
I lived here back in the 90's n returned in 2014 most square footage for your money. Long time tenants meaning they watch out for each other, small community and access to grocery and mall and bus line. Over all very happy.
