Property Ratings at Volusia Crossing
This apartment complex is location right off of I-95, In addition to being right in the Heart of the everything NASCAR , we have Tangler Oulets, AMC , IHOP, Daytona International Airport, Hotels. less than 5 Minutes Away. I Love it here Honestly Living here has been the best,going on 4years. I have not had any issues: Maintenance-Respectful & Courteous Management- Great Experience, Easy Communication
This Apartment Complex is one of the worse in Daytona Beach. It's like living in a trailer. There's no insulation in these apartments and there above ground so you can hear every step. Plus there's a severe Roach infestation here. And there's a bunch of Alchoholics that live here who also have drug issues... Save your time and effort and don't even think about wasting your hard earned money here. It's mostly Section 8 people here and retired Veterans with major issues
When I first moved into this apartment about a year ago it was great, everytime I called or has a problem they were quick to fix and answered my questions, If I left a message for them and they always got back to me that day. I was always recommending then place for anyone that was looking for a new place to live. Now the past few months have been vary different, there is never anyone in the office when I go there in about 5 months I have seen at least 4 new people in the office and have had to go there at least once a week to request that management come to my appartment to come and fix my disposal. I got to the point where I couldn't even do my dishes! For the past 4 days I have called everyday and left a message to be called back about a broken window that won't close all the way, I live in Florida and it is the middle of August and right now it is always at least 95 and my electric bill has gone up almost $25 then last year in August because of it. Also there is a big stray cat problem in this complex and I have started to see baby kittens so now its geting never worse, when I call animal control for the city they tell me that there has been many complaints from other residence but the complex wont let then put traps out. I can no longer justify paying $650 a month for an apartment that is not even 600sf with all the problems that I have been having so at the end of my lease I will not be enewing or ever recommend live here
Unfortunately I can not do a good review. I can not afford apartments over $700. I have lived in different apartments, but this one is bad. I know I have black mold, their suppose to be working on it. Carpet is coming apart and I pay $635 a month. They are using hotel units for air conditioning. My electric bill is over $130 a month because of set up of apartment.
