The staff is very welcoming and helpful during the days before and up to move in! The property is always very clean and well kept. I always see the maintenance staff working hard and doing their best to make my experience the best it can be. The location is fantastic if you are looking for something in Dallas while having affordable rent. I’ve been living at Vue Fitzhugh for almost a year and cannot wait until my lease it up. Management is beyond amazing…but that’s where the good part stops for me. Building is extremely loud, vertical neighbor noise is crazy, street noise is intense, and the hallways are not the cleanest. I’ve had dogs poop and pee on my valet trash bin too many times. Noise from the pool is absurd as well. Dogs running indoors all day, my apt sounds like a drum, vibrating walls and all, I wear headphones almost 24/7. I regretted moving in about two weeks into my lease. I knew right then that I would not be renewing.

I recently moved out of Vue Fitzhugh after living there for three years. Management is extremely responsive when it comes to maintenance issues. Furthermore, the location is stellar. You can walk to West Village and the Knox Henderson area, plus a quick drive/Uber to other neighborhoods (downtown, Deep Ellum, Greenville). Overall, I highly enjoyed my time living in Dallas at this complex. Great price and plenty of space in the one bedrooms.

I have lived at the Vue Fitzhugh for almost 3 years now, and gotta say I LOVE what they have done with the gym!!! The remodel was the best decision ever...so much roooooooom, fancy equipment & the huge TV's! (though I could live without the co-ed potty, haha) I enjoy it here, personally... I've had all the sane neighbors since I moved in, which is great too. Cheers :)
I am preparing to move out of my apartment as I am desperately in need of a backyard, but wanted to give some well deserved feedback to the team here. I have really enjoyed the past year living here, and if my 3 dogs could talk they would say the same! The office always greets us with professionalism and dog treats! The maintenance woman and her assistant are always friendly when passing them in the halls or garage. It really is the little things, and the team at Vue Fitzhugh seems to know that :) Thank you!!!!
My boyfriend and I just moved in & so far, so great! I actually went by the office just to thank them for making the leasing part of our move such a breeze. I mean, I have never experienced an easier process.... We literally found our apartment online (this website!), applied for our apartment online, paid our deposit online, AND signed our actual legal lease online! We leased site unseen because our apartment wasn't ready. Having never done that before, it was a worrisome feeling! But when we walked in, we jinxed each other with "it looks exactly like the model". :)) Joel, Vanessa and Shae were all nice and helpful- we are definitely looking forward to our home here :)
I have lived here for three years, and overall, I loved it... until the property changed Management companies a couple of months ago. I absolutely loved the office staff when Waterton was managing the property, but now that the Tipton Group is managing, I have had numerous issues, including: - they charge you to pay your rent online, even via e-check (it is reasonable to charge a fee for paying by credit card, but it is unacceptable to charge a fee for using bank autodraft. I have never heard of another company charging for this) - I attempted to call the security hotline early one morning (4am) with a noise complaint, and the line had been disconnected - When one of the secure entrances (entrance that typically requires use of a key fob) was unsecured (the lock was broken and no key fob was required), I informed the office staff via a phone call AND I confirmed in person that the staff had received my call. Weeks later when the door was still broken, I was told that the staff was unaware - The office staff misplaced some of my packages, and it was only after I showed them a note in my Amazon account stating the name of the person who signed for my packages that they believed me (and spent 10 minutes searching for the packages in the back room... the packages were huge, and I have no idea how they possibly could have been misplaced) - The office staff has been short with me on several occasions, and they do not seem to car about treating residents professionally Overall, I never had these issues prior to the change in management, and I am very disappointed in the transition. I will not be renewing my lease when it is up.
The Vue Fitzhugh is a great place and a great location. It is within walking distance of a bunch of great bars/restaurants. It is a short Uber ride to Uptown or Downtown and you can access Highway 75 very easily. There is one pool for the entire complex but it is decent sized and very nice. The staff there has always been extremely friendly and accommodating, overall I would highly recommend this building to anyone looking to rent in the Dallas area without having to pay Uptown or Downtown prices.
Overall, I loved living at the Vue Fitzhugh. The office staff was always helpful and accommodating. The maintenance staff was always fast to fulfill any requests and they even came at move-in to fix any complaints that were made when first entering the apartment (such as low water pressure, leaking door from the rain). The only complaints I have is that the key fob door is usually not locked and the trash overflows on the weekends.
