Got a new washer! Our dishwasher didn’t work upon move-in, so we put in a maintenance request. It took about a week for a maintenance team member to come out, but once he did, he ordered a new dishwasher and installed it a few days later! The team was friendly and efficient.

Very nice family friendly community full of life. There are some minor issues like washer and dryer are very basic - have problem with cleaning clothes and drying cycle damages them. community garden is very nice but it would be great if there would be some basic rules and assignment of areas.

This is quite possibly the worst managed apartment complex on the face of the earth. I thought my college apartments were bad, but this is a whole different level. My favorite game has become walking to the front office, looking into the doors, calling the office, and watching them ignore your call. Very dependable crew in there! I highly recommend you call the front off and try to talk to a human during business hours. This challenge is harder than qualifying for the Olympics! The second hardest challenge is getting them to respond to an email. Very tough things to do! The entire complex around the 1190 and 1185 NE Lilac St buildings have had every outdoor light out for almost two years now. Even after requesting it directly to the office on top of making maintenance requests, nothing has been done. The parking situation is absolutely atrocious. Any given night has the fire lanes completely gridlocked by illegally parked vehicles that management even acknowledges and refuses to do anything about. When we first moved in over two and a half years ago, this place was refreshingly average: nothing overly fantastic about it, but also nothing to really complain about. The latter part has changed drastically in the last year and a half. The negative reviews you see here are every bit accurate of the living experience at Vue currently. I’m sure it has the capability of being turned around, but I’d suggest you try giving them a call to see if they have!

Be sure that the exact unit you lease has the amenities promised (is it a full sized laundry or not, are your finishes as pictured, is there a balcony, etc.). Confirm absolutely everything, and make sure every nick and missing light bulb and clogged vent is cleaned when you move in because you won’t get anything done later. If no parking is available to lease when you sign your lease immediately do not move here at all. Find something else. Otherwise the majority of your lease will be spent waiting on a “waiting list” for parking that the office will tell you isn’t available, but miraculously every night it’s empty but won’t be rented to you... and then you won’t be able to find parking anywhere on site and there isn’t a neighborhood street to park on. Also, property management staff and maintenance staff will take up over a handful of available spaces even though they already took private garages that could be used. So beware, be very very wary.
Beautiful, space. I agree with the below statement: I also forget that we live in an apartment at times. It feels more like a condo. I love the spacious floor plans, the garage (although it could be a little wider, I have a hard time getting my kids out), I love the manicured green space, the playground and community BBQ gazebo are both amazing. There is also a community garden where you can rent a space to plant. My kids have both made so many new friends while playing in the sand pit or on the equipment. The moms I have met are also very welcoming. The staff in the office are really nice, the maintenance guy is great. The covered dumpsters make everything in the community organized and clean. One negative is the lack of parking spaces for guests. Overall great place to live, would recommend to others.

This "community" consists of way to many disrespectful tenants. Those that can't be bothered to follow the rules that allow everyone to enjoy a pleasant living experience. Some examples include: not picking up their dog's waste (on the grass and even on the sidewalks); not doing their part to keep the community clean by failing to pick up after themselves; smoking or sneaking to smoke while the property is meant to be non-smoking in any of the buildings or common areas. Another issue is the parking. In order to cram as many buildings and tenants into the property, the streets are quite narrow and parking is limited. People also tend to park at the base of the stairs to load/unload blocking others' driveways. Having a driveway right next to the stairs, I found my driveway blocked several times a week. The lackluster management comment is due to the fact that even though transgressions noted above are reported to the management, the only response is "we will address it". Maybe they do, or maybe they don't, but the same problems continue to occur.

What a great community. It is close to shops and great restaurants. The complex is well manicured. The office staff is great. Fast, super friendly, and always smiling. The maintenance crew get things done right away so there is never an issue. The pool is nice in the summer and the park is great for the kids. They even have a community garden residents can rent and hove there own garden. All in all it is great place to live.

Great apartments that feel more like a townhome. Garages available, patio storage and a 2 bed / 2 bath floorplan that was the best layout of everything we toured in the Issaquah Highlands. Rent isn't cheap but on par for the neighborhood (actually a little cheaper than the other big apartment complex up the hill). Factor in walkability to the Park and Ride and grocery shopping and it's pretty tough to beat. Onsite gym is a little small, but if you're just looking for cardio machines and weight machines (not free weights) then it's plenty.

Beautiful, brand new luxury living. I forget that we live in an apartment at times. It feels more like a condo.
