This is a great place to live, as it is quiet & safe. I love the gated community, & the detached garages. The management staff is excellent, along with the administrative staff & maintenance crew. The lawn is kept mowed, & the grounds are clean. We have lived here about 1 1\2 years.

The complex changed hands when COVID hit, so it's hard to determine why things have slipped. The previous management company was great and stayed on top of everything and communicated with the residents on a regular basis. Once the new company took over we sometimes had less than 24 hours notice of them entering the apartment, though that has improved, thankfully. There's a broken gate handle that hasn't been fixed in weeks. Public light fixtures also don't get replaced/fixed in a timely manner. If a door slams shut, the whole floor shakes. I suppose if you live on the first floor this wouldn't be an issue, but on the other floors it's really annoying. The microwave is located less than a foot from the stove top, rending the back burners useless for very large pots. Love that each unit has its own washer and dryer! The bathrooms are a good size and the closet space is decent. The ceiling fans in the living space and bedrooms are also nice to have. So, overall, the apartments are great and management is getting better about communicating and addressing issues.

just moved in to this apt. i love the amenities, safety (gated property), quiet, and helpfull staff!!!
I normally would never even write a review but I have been very happy with the management and maintenance crew here at Encore Wagoner Creek. It is by far the best place to live in Texarkana. Good community, great pool, and a well maintained grounds. I could not be happier.
