I am so happy living at Walden Crossing Apartments! It's a quiet, beautifully landscaped property and my apartment is comfortable and cozy. I enjoy my large porch each morning and appreciate being 15 minutes from restaurants and shopping! The maintenance staff are awesome!!!! Whenever I've had a need, they've come the same day, are professional, capable and friendly. I couldn't be happier living here!
Run far and run fast. These individuals will rip you off in a heart beat and not look back. I moved out on April 3rd which was a Sunday. Upon moving out I request they contact me to do the walk through. I was notified of damages on the 8th of April that following Friday. I asked for photo evidence and never received it. On the 11th which was that following Monday I was finally able to get them to send them to me on that day my wife requested again to do a formal walkthrough to inspect the supposed damages she was told the apartment had been turned over and would be rented out. I asked for the third time to do a formal walkthrough on the 26th and I was told it was turned over and rented out so a formal walkthrough was not possible. After finally receiving all documentation months later I found the the "repairs" to the walls had been done on the 7th which is the day before I was notified of them and the floor was repaired on the 28th which is 2 days after I requested the thrid walkthrough and was denied. They also forged the move out inspection paperwork because my wife never signed it or signed for the damages and could not provide me with the original copies of proof. Do not let them do this to yet another individual.

Five months ago, Mr. Skidmore moved out of his apartment. The maintenance team went in there the day after his move out and inspected the apartment. The carpet was ruined and the walls had damages throughout. The move out statement was sent to the resident; and later, the requested inspection photos and invoices. Mr. Skidmore indicated an interest in doing a move out inspection several weeks after his move out. However, the apartment had already been repaired and a new resident living in there. A final move-out balance was eventually agreed upon at the end of April and Mr. Skidmore indicated that he would make payment. Some time went by and follow up requests were sent to Mr. Skidmore on the payment, but we never heard back. Walden Crossing provides residents with a move out packet after notice has been received – approximately 60 days prior to the move out. One of the parts in the packet outlines the option to do a move out inspection with Management and how it works. Over the years, this same packet has been provided to our residents without any confusion over the move-out process. The Management team works hard to maintain communication with the residents and give clarity to any move out charges that may arise. We will work with the resident, provide the requested documents, and discuss the move out statement. Our goal is to provide residents with a happy conclusion to the end of their residency at the community. Close enough to Highway 575 without dealing with the noise from it. Target is down the street. Tapitos, The Pizza Prince, and Prime are up the street. Downtown Canton and its restaurants are a few minutes away. The property is on a hill atop of the hustle and bustle. Very happy I chose to live here.
I love calling this place home. The office management is courteous and professional. The property is well maintained. Convenient to downtown Canton.

The complex and environment is extremely nice and some of the staff are very friendly. However, if an issue arises they will argue/challenge excessively. At one point my apartment flooded and started developing black mold. They expected me to stay in it or go to a hotel at my own cost - it was like pulling teeth for them to understand that this was a health hazard and to put me into a different apartment was their responsibility. (They ended up having to have a company come out and tear out the walls and flooring of where it flooded, how the expected me to live in/through that I have no idea.) later I had to break my lease due to a family member’s health declining so I could move in and take care of them. They literally wrote “carpet evaluation ?” Yes, “?” and all, thinking this was acceptable as part of a move out statement. Then later billed me $80 for a carpet cleaning cost they said needed to be done after an evaluation I wasn’t even present for. (Note, I also vacuumed and steam cleaned the whole place before I left). If no problem arises you’ll be fine. But as with life, problems arise, and they will not work with you to find the best solution - they see money signs, not people, as most apartment complexes do.

Dear Resident: Please accept our heartfelt apologies for the experience you had at our community. We find your review of concern, as this is not the standard of service we are proud to provide at Walden Crossing. One of the issues you mention is a flood in the apartment. Our records indicate some water from an exterior pressure washing managed to find its way into a corner of your closet. We understand this then gave you a concern of mold. We brought in a contractor as you mentioned, tore out a portion of the closet wall at your request, and no mold was found. Going forward, our team will have a contractor come out quicker, to help ensure a peace of mind. The carpet charge of $80 was the amount we were billed by the carpet cleaner for stains that could not be removed with a steam clean. It's to our understanding that the stain was brought up to your roommate at the time of the walk-through. Please note that residents are afforded the opportunity to petition any charges they disagree with. At times, we may come to an agreement and modify or remove the charge. Do not live here, I have lived here for 4 years and I am moving out soon. The old management staff was awesome, the new not so much. Grounds are not kept up like they used to be. They send out notices of work being done and then its not completed. They take your maintenance issues with a note and then maybe will correct them a few months later. I would consider looking else where.
The good with the bad review. I lived here for almost 3 years, I only stayed that long due to the pains of moving. The property itself is ok, maintained pretty well. They do the routine upkeep of pressure washing and lawn services keep the area looking nice. There have been some recent updates with the gym equipment which was way overdue. I would STRONGLY recommend if you rent from here get a top floor apartment. The noise levels from other tenants are a lot louder than I’ve ever experienced in other apartments. I addressed this with the manager multiple times. They only recommend letting someone come out when the noise is going but are never available to come out. I’ve known 3 other tenants to move out due to the excess noise. The response time from management for issues has become a problem in the last 6 months. The staff turnover rate is very high, every 3-6 months there are new faces in the office. The apartments are very cheap quality, but that’s to be expected with apartments. The other amenities pool, car wash, dog park and are pretty well kept up. If I would have had a top floor apartment I would have honestly stayed longer but the constant excess noise was my final decision to leave. They are working on “upgrading” the apartments, which will drive up price. The other positive about this apartment complex is the location, very convenient to I575, but if you’re working in Marietta or Atlanta south be prepared the commute is horrible! My 26 mile drive takes anywhere from 45 min on a good day to 1.5 hours with bad traffic. The area is expanding, and road construction constantly going on for the interstate. The local area of Canton has most of what anyone would need for big box stores.
My 2 bedroom apartment is very large. The sunroom overlooks a landscape full of mature trees and rolling hills. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the property well maintained. I love my home.
I lived here back in 2005. Moved to California. I moved back to canton Georgia this past January immediately looked to this residence. They have upgraded and added new amenities. .
The size of the 2 bedroom is good for a small family, the price is a little high but the staff and neighborhood is wonderful. The only issue is the bottom floor gets ants and wasp and they can't seem to get rid of them.
Excellent location, just off the Interstate. So close to shopping dining and the gym. Easy trip to downtown Atlanta on 575. The units are huge and the amenities are great. Repairs are made when you ask for them. The new upgrades are awesome!! This is by far the best place to live in Canton GA,
I downsized from a three bedroom two story home and found walden crossing. It has all of the things you would expect plus more. Gated community, fully furnished kitchen, trash pick up at your door, computer nook (saves you from having to pay for an extra bedroom to use for an office, pool, exercise room, beautiful mature landscaping, maintenance service beyond expectations. These apartment homes truly are more a home than what you would expect from an apartment living experience. Thank you staff of Walden crossing!
