Property Ratings at Walker Landing
new management last year and notice huge difference in compliance. Manager seems to have proactive approach, and grounds are clean and attention to detail. Appreciated by neighbors in nearby condo community.
It is the worst apartment so far. It doesn’t have parking space. To have your own you have to pay $75. There is no maintenance in the apartment at all. The appliances don’t work including the heating system. When you talk to them they are disrespectful and will definitely tell you to suck it up.
Avoid, I promise it is not worth the headache of dealing with this place. Two days before I was scheduled to move, they called and told me I had to change apartments or wait at least 7 days, this caused an huge headache in having to change my address to the new unit, in turn I haven't received my mail since I moved in 25 days ago. There were many issues with the other unit I had to move into, the staff does not care. The manager called me and assured me that they would all be fixed, it's now been two weeks since that call and all of the issues are still present. Here is what I'm dealing with currently No bathroom door - the maintenance man that came to fix it, drilled and cut for 2 hours and then came up to me and said I quit, this place sucks. He left the entire mess for me to clean up and I still have no door. No A/C - AC runs all day and night and it only cools to 80 degrees. The unit's blinds were dirty, missing and broken, issue still not fixed. Fireplace was "decorated" with contact paper which is peeling and looks so trashy. I moved my furniture to completely cover the eye sore. Kitchen faucet - was described as a pullout faucet, it is not it's broken and old and probably original to the building. The carpet, it was new or newish when I moved in, however there is no threshold placed down so it's starting to fray and come apart everywhere. My refrigerator won't shut. The lawn maintenance will shoot the lawn clippings and dirt all over your car. They will refuse to give you a check-in sheet, I asked several times for one. They finally gave me one but it should be given upon move in without waiting two weeks. The grounds are terrible, trash everywhere Parking is also terrible, broken down cars everywhere. The maintenance takes up 3 places right by me for their golf carts day and night. The manager (Jessica) called me once assured me this would all be fixed, now she won't return calls or respond. My address is wrong on my unit, if I were to call 911 they would go to the wrong unit since the address on my door is not the correct unit, causing packages and deliveries to be delivered to the wrong address. I would avoid this place at all costs. They do not care and the place is a dump.
Living at Conifer Creek was not a very pleasant experience for me. My upstairs neighbor was always loud very late and early in the morning. Management did nothing about it. The “amenities” are useless. Gym was closed for the longest time, the pool as well has been closed all summer due to repairs. This neighborhood is crime-ridden, always cars getting broken into. There is never parking available because residents use their garages as storage and park their cars in the parking lot making it impossible to find parking specially at night, there are too many broken cars just parked there and management don't care to do anything about it. The police are always here because of shootings, at least 3 times in the last few months. The trash bins are always over flowing. Maintenance does not care to pick up trash. Leasing were rude except Cecilia, they hardly ever answer the phone, every time you call have to leave a voice mail and no call was returned. My lease had to be renewed they wanted to raise it almost 400.00 I tried speaking to the property manager, to come to an agreement she was very rude, she talked to me like I was her kid, so I decided to go somewhere else where they treat me nicely. If you ask me if I suggest living at Conifer Creek, the answer is NO, Please stay away from this place.
Living for a year at Conifer Creek was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a renting agency in my entire adult life. The tenants are noisy and noise complaints would go completely unheeded. My walls would shake with loud music, fireworks, and barking dogs at all hours of the night day. The “amenities” that tenants pay for are completely useless. The staff would forget to unlock the pool for hours if not days in the summer, and the supposed yoga room was used as storage for maintenance staff. The neighborhood is extremely crime-ridden with cars getting broken into on a weekly basis. I have also never met a more incompetent staff in my life. We had constant issues with broken air conditioners, heaters not working for days, and oh yeah, and that time that I lived next to a decaying corpse for months. You read that right. Unfortunately my neighbor had passed for an extended period of time. After his body was discovered, it took the complex literal weeks to bring in any one to clean up the flies, maggots, and smell of rotten death that permeated the entire building. We asked for updates from the staff nearly daily and merely received shoulder shrugs. So would I suggest living at Conifer Creek? Unless a year of terrible service, sleep, and the thought of a staff so incompetent that residents are forced to live next to biohazard waste for months at a time seems at all apealing, I would 100% stay away from this dump.

We are very sorry that your living experience in our community didn't meet your expectations. We never like to hear that a resident departed our community with unpleasant feelings toward our community and our staff. We understand that noise transfer can be an issue in apartment living and want you to know that we do all we can to minimize it for our residents. Also, we are sorry for the inconvenience that your neighbors untimely passing caused you. We can assure you that we worked as quickly and diligently as possible within the strict parameters provided by the state and local authorities. This event was tragic and a shock to us all. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you. We encourage you to give us a call to discuss your concerns in more detail. Thank you and we wish you nothing but the best in your new home!
After spending my first couple of months here, I felt obligated to write a review because of how much I obsessively read them while finding an apartment. The office staff has been incredibly kind and helpful. The lease signing and move-in process was quick and simple. Angelica in the office was literally FANTASTIC. The apartment itself is by far the best layout and has the nicest amenities of anything in a similar price range in the Aurora area. Like, the kitchen itself was a selling point. It's nice to be in a traditional apartment, but not have the teeny tiny "hallway kitchen" that is so standard in units. We toured countless other complexes and Conifer is far and away superior. Curb appeal is cute. Neighborhood seems safe. Parking is decent; although definitely full at times, I've never been without a spot. We had one maintenance issue upon move-in that was taken care of quickly. Now, I recognize that a lot of the "issues" I bring up are going to be common amongst a lot of apartments and it's more of an issue with inconsiderate tenants than it is a front office issue. First, I have had 15 experiences of dogs running up to me unleashed. None of them have been overtly aggressive, but if you either have a dog that is anxious around others or have a fear of dogs yourself, I can see how this would be a huge concern. I wish there was a fenced in off-leash area or more signage/communication about leash requirements. Some people are also terrible about cleaning up after their dogs, but that's pretty commonplace in pet-friendly complexes. Minor things: Although the complex seems quiet, I have the dreaded "loud, thumping music playing" neighbor. There isn't really anything specifically mentioned in the lease about quiet hours, beyond just a quiet enjoyment clause. Not sure how to approach it without being nagging because of the non-commital language in the lease. We wish the community grills were available all year even though the pool-area is not, especially because we are not allowed to use them on the patio. We'd still like to BBQ on a nice spring day, even though it's not swimming weather yet. All in all, I do recommend Conifer Creek if you're looking for something in this price range. Future residents, I know reviews are oftentimes tainted with bitter residents who have had illegal cars towed , are late to payments, or are not following clear lease rules; but, as a whole Conifer is great, and I'd suggest stopping in for a tour.

I moved here last October into a townhome. Everything was new, I had not a single fault with the apartment. Its a quiet and clean area. My lease is up next month and I’m most likely gonna Renew my lease

We’re thrilled to hear you love it here at Conifer Creek Apartments! Thanks for the positive review, and we hope you remain a part of our community for years to come.
I have lived here for 8 months and have had a horrible experience. Only half of my stove burners work and the fridge has broken down 3 times and they haven't replaced it. I also had my only toilet break and they took 4 hours to come look at it despite multiple calls, only having one bathroom and seeing the maintenance guys just hanging out at the office. I had to tell them I was looking up renter's rights to get them to come. They are also extremely rude and didn't explain anything upon move it or even give me the keys to the pool. My garage opener and gym fob broke with in days of moving in. The grounds are also full of trash. Do not move in here. Worst rental experience I have ever had.

We're sorry to receive this feedback. We work hard to make sure our residents are happy and comfortable in their homes, and we regret that your stay has been so frustrating. Due to the number and severity of your concerns, we feel direct communication is the best way to move forward. Please contact us so we can address your concerns. Thanks.
I do NOT recommended! Wish could rate 0 stars! Stayed here for 3 years and even with new managment their worse tham previous management which is bad. There is a very nonchalant apporach to maintenance request. It takes a minimum of two weeks to even get your maintenance request looked at let alone resolved. They are quick to tow your car without any communication or warning . Quick to serve eviction notice if even just couple days late! The lead property manager's conduct is very off putting, not apprachable, not caring and or understanding. Very poor customer service. For the amount of rent they charge I would expect a higher quality of customer service which you do not get as a resident here I recommend if you can choose somewhere else!!!

Dear Resident, We are very sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations during your stay here. If you would like to discuss your grievances, you are welcome to contact us. Thank you.
I have lived here for about 3 years and liked most of it. We had friendly management, nice pools, open gym, and easy payment. Ever since they changed their company, I have had nothing but bad experiences. The people working are NOT friendly, gym is not open at times when I am available to work out, payment is harder, and they kicked my dog out of the pool area which she has always been allowed to be in. I am very dissapointed now.

Hi, We want to read nothing but positive remarks from our residents, so we're very saddened by your review. We want to make things right and try to earn back your praise. When you get a moment, please stop into the leasing office to discuss your concerns. Thank you.
Conifer creek has been great to me and my roommate. Never had any issue, they remodeled the club house and should be open in a week or so. I live above the temporary leasing office so we have become friends and love have some good conversation when they aren't busy. Pool is nice lots of kids but that's expected. Great location close to everything and the highways. Perfect for late night outs, so close to so many bars for the college student or party animal at heart. Great spot recommended to everyone. Cheers.
This is a Horrible Place to live, they hardy answer the phone when you call to ask a question our if you need anything fixed the rent is way too high and now they have the nerve to go up on the rent again $230.00 me and my family our very unhappy here we need to get out of here like yesterday.
When my boyfriend and I first looked at the model apartment we were so excited to call this place home. On move in date we were very disappointed. We were promised an upgraded apartment with dark hardwood floors and fancy appliances. When we opened our door we were hit in the face with the smell of mildew along with the surprise of the old worn out floors and appliances. They only provided us with one key and then it took them 2 weeks to provide us with another set. A couple months into living here they scheduled a day to change our furnace filter and check our fire alarm batteries. They never showed up. We contacted them but they still never came by. We ended up doing it ourselves. Then our garage door broke causing damage to my boyfriend's car. No matter how many times we contact them they drag their feet. They are horrible at communication. The apartment itself is ok, nothing fancy. There is water damage in the ceilings and just a lot of little things that could be better. The crew here never bothers us but they are also never there when we need them.
My apartment complex has the best of both worlds. I get to live in a nice quite community but I'm only a 20 minute drive from downtown Denver. I've always wanted to live in a big city but I also enjoy being in a nice neighborhood with great parks and schools within walking distance. There are also beautiful views of the mountains less than five mins from my apartment. One of the nice features about my apartment complex is that they also have town homes you can rent along with full garages so if you need more room to live or storage you have that option. Not to mention they have a pool open year round along with a workout room. It's basically a great place to live and the price can't be beat.
Takes a long time to get things fixed within the apartment. Apartment outdated. Lots of loud parties and neighbors. Very little parking around our actual building. We are getting what we paid for, it is more affordable for a family would be better if it was a bit cleaner and more family friendly.
I like to say that my apartment it a good place to hang out when friends comes over they always want it to spent the night.
