Wallington Plaza Apartment Homes

I moved in to these apartments recently and upon move in was incredibly pleased to find how clean and fresh the unit was. The paintwas new, carpets shampooed, everything cleaned down and sanatized. I like to do my own wipe down upon move in but it was not necessary here. They are also incredibly friendly and Cindy in the office was amazing and helpful from day one. They are also wonderfully affordable even with pool and laundry on site. The complex is clean from trash and quiet and they've worked with my schedule when it comes to any maintenance. By the way the maintenance team is quick, efficient and respectful as well. I'm so happy to have found a home here.

I moved out August 2023 due to small roaches & other reasons. I accidentally overpaid on my last month for utilities, so in short they owed me 60 bucks. [on the online platform it showed 70 dollars, paid that, got their actual bill, showed me 10 dollars, ergo -60.] I called once in like September & they said "oof, yeah, you should get a check in the mail. <3" Buuutttttt, yeah, it's been like almost 6 months and nothing. I know I'm not gonna get that money, but I figure you guys should know. <3

I've rented here for a while and here's a few things I've noticed. 1) Each month were given a calendar sheet. It shows important dates for the apartment complex as well as holidays and the like, even provides a monthly recipe, its nice. However it says on the calendars they do pest control weekly, specifically every Wednesday. **Except they don't**. They havent sprayed since October at least in my building. 2) Theres roaches! Theres small roaches and from what I hear 3 buildings are infested. I was lucky to have been told by a neighbor when I first moved in she even offered me some pesticide she used. 3) Maintenance/office staff leaves much to be desired. Theyre very nice however that's about it this place feels almost *too* laid back. For example we were given paper notice of maintenance turning on the AC for April 4th, and well it's April 12th at the time of writing this and nothing has been turned on. Another example being the roaches! Other than that, the apartments are nice for the price, they aren't the apartments that completely paint over everything.

Small roaches. The landlady thinks it's MY responsibility to take care of them. Also their walls are not sound deafening. And maintenance sucks because roaches.

The whole building and the one next to us have roaches. I've talked to a neighbor who's been there for years, they said the neighbors who lived where I live now LEFT because of the roaches. All they do is spray and it doesn't work. I brought this up to the landlady, suggesting we need a different method used, and she basically said "well we only sprayed twice so we're going to spray again". It has been countless time now, and the situation is the same no matter how much I clean I'll see one of the roaches in my kitchen. I had to buy my own pesticide, and it keeps the roaches at bay, but whenever maintanence sprays again I see more. Another thing, I watched maintanence spray my clean dishes, dishes that were in boxes away from the kitchen so the guy could have space to spray my kitchen oddly enough. Another neighbor said that maintanence sprayed their cats food and toys while they was away [she has a ring camera in her apartment], and they're having an argument with maintanence's boss [Who works seperately from the land lady I guess????] Overall steer clear it's not worth it.

Wallington Plaza Apartment Homes is the best housing option for anyone looking for cheap and quality accommodation in El Paso. With ever friendly and supportive staff like Cindy and Karla, who are ready to listen to you and help you in all possible ways, this is definitely a home away from home. Lived there for more than two years and would definitely be my first housing choice should circumstances make me move to El Paso again!

I've been living here for almost two years, and if not because of graduation and my work is in another state, I wouldn't move anywhere else. This place makes me feel like home. Cindy is a very sweet lady, super nice and helpful. The maintenance team are friendly and they're quick on arriving for your services. The rent is super affordable for college students. The environment and people in the neighborhood are very friendly. The location is closed to lots of great restaurants and it's just 7 mins driving from UTEP. I have great experience living here and I'd suggest it to anyone who'd consider living closed to the campus but don't want to pay for those overpriced dorms.

I lived in this apartment complex for a year and I would not recommend what so ever for several reasons. 1) Maintenance takes long to complete any calls or work. While I was there my first summer the a/c broke down three consecutive times, once being on a Friday and I didn’t get someone sent out until Monday afternoon, meanwhile dealing with over 100 degree weather. 2) Tubs are ages old, they only resurface and that chips away easily. 3) Office hours are 9a to 6p, however by 5p they aren’t taking any calls and make you call the next day. 4) They also ask tenants to leave positive reviews so that they look good in front of their boss. 5) If you’re currently renting DO NOT RETURN YOUR KEYS until you walk one of the employees through the apt thoroughly. They have a habit of sending out surprise charges. 6) Packages and bikes go missing all the time. 7) The only upsite to Wallington is the proximity to UTEP however there are plenty of options out there with better amenities

Management has always been kind and understanding and they are very quick to solve any work orders. I love that it is so close to UTEP, and that they have a student discount on top of the already affordable pricing. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone interested as I have thoroughly enjoyed the year I have lived here!

This is a great place to live. Cindy and Karla, the ladies who work in the office, are wonderful and made my year here awesome!

I lived here for a year from October 2018 to this October. They always resolved any issue in a very timely manner. Karla and Cyndi were very nice and helpful since the beginning and throughout my lease length.

I would not recommend anyone to live here. They took a month to have my unit ready and when I was finally able to move in the kitchen counters were in terrible conditions and were al tilted. They took two months to come and fix them. I also ran several days wothout hot water without any notice.

I have lived at this apt for 4 years. Moved from having a two bedroom to a one bedroom and ultimately a studio. I had no issues with this apartment complex. If there were any problems with the apt itself the maintenance guys were always quick to fix it. It's a quiet and peaceful environment. Very accommodating to students with the student discount and it is very close to campus. The ladies at the front office are very friendly. I have referred several of my friends to this apt and now they are residents. I was very happy with the referral discount that is applied to the rent. Overall, this was the best apt complex I have stayed at (noting the fact that I stated here for 4 years). I would highly recommend to others. In addition, if I ever return to El Paso, better believe I'll be moving back here :)

I love living here! The environment is so warm and welcoming. I love how safe I feel and how kind the landlords are. I've never had any issues and the maintenance staff are always ready to help if something needs tweaking. Everyone is so friendly and the coffee is fantastic. I've been living here for almost 3 years and am so happy to renew my lease. It's close to school, great restaurants, and best of all it is very affordable and the quality of living here is superb. So I want to give a big thank you! :)

I lived at Wallington Plaza for over 3 years and was very happy there!! The ladies in the office are great! The apartment was in great shape, there’s plenty of parking, it’s very close to great restaurants & bars, and the pool & laundry room were always clean!

I moved in a few months ago; I rented a one bedroom (that I like), but now I need more space. I am transferring to a two bedroom during the first week of April. During my first month here, I told the office staff that this is the best managed, large apartment complex that I have resided in during my time in El Paso. Usually, and sadly, once a place gets you in with promises of this and that, you are forgotten because now you are locked into a lease. But, Carla, Cindy, and all of the beautiful ladies in the office, continue to make me feel like I just walked through the door to inquiry about a new place to live. Reuben and his team do an amazing job of getting to any maintenance issues quickly. For the amount of apartments within the complex, the maintenance team keeps the place running smoothly. They are a superb group of people. I am thankful that I stopped by to take a look at the apartments a few months ago. The one bedroom is really enough space for me, but I now need an office (space). I was so concerned about my handmade armoire fitting into the space, but my concerns were laid to rest. If you are looking for a place to live, to grow, to say hi to your neighbors and they say "hi" in return, to quickly access the I-10, a plethora of (very good) food options, close to EPCC, UTEP and Fort Bliss, and many more things that are a benefit to your lifestyle, then look no further. Wallington Plaza is a place that you can call home. Now, I know that no one place is 100%, but Wallington Plaza Apartments comes as close as humanly possible. And, that is because of the human component of the staff that make you feel welcomed, and taken cared of. Come be apart of our family.

The ladies in the staff are very kindhearted, helpful, and understanding, both Cindy and Carla work very hard to keep their residents happy. The maintenance crew is also very hard working and admirable people. Whenever I need something fixed in my apartment they fix whatever it is that same day or if not within that same week. Definitely recommend these apartments to close family, friends, and coworkers!

Wallington Plaza Apartments have great apartments for the price! I genuinely have enjoyed living here for the past 9 months and it will be upsetting for me to move out because of how well the staff is. They truly make you feel at home. The three ladies that run the property are the most nicest individuals that you could ever meet. The maintenance staff is very quick and gets the job done. The only thing that I do not like about the apartment complex is the fact that the cooling system is swamp and it takes a while for them all to get on. Thus making it uncomfortable in your apartment for a few weeks. However, once the AC goes on everything is great again. I highly recommend this apartment complex to those on a budget or for those college students who want to leave home and experience the real adult world. It is close to UTEP and very affordable.

I lived here for 10 years and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an apartment. I miss the quick access to restaurants. stores, and most of all the quick access to I-10. Maintenance and the office staff were always very helpful.

This apartment complex is a very student oriented complex, many students from UTEP are located here. I find it very comfortable to live here, it is a very quiet community even though there is a lot of students, I don't have any problems with anyone. The only thing I don't like is the fact that management take a lot of time to repair stuff. It's been more than three months since we requested the dishwasher to be fixed and they haven't even come to check it. Overall I like the community.

Location is awesome, literally within walking distance of Mesa Street, the bus, great restaurants and chill bars.The two pools and laundry rooms are very well maintained and the custodian is incredibly friendly and helpful. Although most of the residents are UTEP students, is a very calm and safe apartment complex. I just love how I can walk everywhere; from a 7/11 corner store to a nice restaurant. In addition rates are the best I could find on the area.

on the west side seems to be a good place for students at UTEP.

I lived there for about half a year, over my stay we had several problems. Firstly, the apartments are very poorly kept, there are bugs everywhere, the pool is never clean, there are clobs of hair and frogs that sit in the drain along with several mounds of dirt at the bottom. The whole apartment started falling apart by itself, from the dishwasher to the counter tops breaking. The whole apartment is painted cheaply and even the bath tub was painted to cover up dirt. We had a dog, around 50 lbs and were told to move out or get rid of the dog. They didnt even give us an option as they gave other residents who have lived there for years and just had to pay more rent. Lastly, the staff is very rude. They act like they are better than everyone and lack social skills.
