Walnut Creek Apartments

First of all, I have lived here for 12 years and this is the longest I have lived in an apartment!! Reason? Why move when I have everything I need and I feel safe!! Maintenance, when I call and I have a maintenance problem, even a small one they are out in a timely manner and it is fixed in a short period of time, thank you Bobby!! Very nice apartments and in 12 yrs there has never been anything I needed to be concerned about, I feel that This is and has been a very nice home for me. After all I have been here 12 years. Oh and I have made some very nice friends while living here. Thank you , Tenant, Susan.

I live at Walnut Creek Apartments, and they said they needed to do some maintenance on my unit to prepare for inspections. The maintenance was done while my wife, son, and I were staying the night at my in-laws' house. When we returned, we found our cat had been locked in the bathroom with no food, water, or litter box for 36 hours, without notifying us, and for no reason that they could explain. I complained to the manager and Team Asset Management, and they've done nothing but blow me off for two weeks now. No-one has even attempted to apologize. Frankly, they all seem too busy to care about the safety of tenants and their pets. If you value your animals, stay away!

This apartment complex is the worst. The management is disorganized, it’s taken weeks for our maintenance orders to be fixed even though we keep calling the office, and in the six months that we’ve been here they’ve replaced their leasing specialist multiple times. The day that we signed our paperwork to move in we learned that the owner fired the entire previous management team and hired a new set. They just can’t hold on to people and they are not professional. Please do not believe the good reviews. In our November newsletter they asked people to write a positive review and if the review stayed up 30 days or more they could potentially receive $250 off their next months rent. People are not motivated to tell the truth they’re motivated out of money. This place is terrible and if I had the chance to do it over again I would’ve chosen a different apartment complex to live in.

This place had a major bug problem, had to constantly do perimeter spray just to avoid spiders, beetles, and roaches from coming inside (and we were very clean too!). Getting something fixed was a hassle because most of the time it was a shortcut fix, meaning it didn't hold anyways. And taking to the front desk was a pain because they all had different answers to the same question. Leaving was a pain too. They weren't willing to work with our move out date at all. We had to pay extra to have the carpets cleaned, which would have been pretty expensive, so when I asked what would happen if I chose not to have the carpets cleaned and just lose the deposit (which was not much more than the cost would have been anyways), they said that was all, no deposit. Low and behold, a month later and they are trying to get me to pay $73 to them. And instead of calling to explain or send a letter, they turned it over to a collection agency. Overpriced for what it is and poor customer service!

The Walnut Creek Apartment Staff are super fun to be around. They are super helpful to current and future residents.

This apartment complex has been by far the best one I have ever lived in. The actual complex its self is quiet and beautiful, it feels like you're living on a resort. The bedrooms are spacious and the washer/dryer room is the BEST! I have loved living here, but it's more than just the apartments the people who run it are phenomenal. Megan has been the greatest leasing agent since the second we viewed the property. She made leasing a breeze and has always made sure that we're super happy with everything. We had a problem with wasp nests when we first moved in, I called Megan and she had someone there in 20 minutes to take care of the problem. My room mate decided to leave during our lease and Megan not only helped me figure out the easiest way to help out, but kept checking to make sure that I was doing alright because she knew it was a hard time for me. These people are just absolutely incredible and want to make sure you feel at home in these apartments. Now that it's getting cold we're also LOVING the fireplace in our living room. Check out the breath taking view of the sunset you get from the upper deck over all the mountains.

Both Maintenance and Administration are prompt and friendly. We are always getting reminded to keep things nice, making sure cigarette butts are thrown away properly and just asking the residents to keep the complex's clean and tidy! Always invited to BBQ's at the pool...My spouse and I adore living here! Sure we have to wait a couple minutes for the water to warm up, but it's not the end of the world! (:

Megan at Walnut Creek was unfailingly helpful during the application process, answering dozens of my questions politely and professionally. Moving can be stressful, but she was kind and understanding. The complex is well-run and I am delighted to have my son living there.

I have been here for over a year now and love how they keep the community beautiful and always respond quickly if I have any problems.

This is the perfect place if you are looking to wake up to magical creatures on your patio every morning or the toast glittered with fairy dust. Birds sing and quietly awaken me from my mediocre sleep and open the curtains as they go. 0h! - We've been watching Cinderella. No, this place is amazing. Nicely sized rooms, a big kitchen, NO SPIDERS? It's like feeling at home.

Walnut Creek Apartment are not professional at all, Carpets was dirty like some one left the apartment and they give it to me the next day. Staff is not cooperating as well. When you left the apartment they charge you alot with unnecessary thing like the apartment was no clean. Apartment was clean at the time of move out more than he move in but still they always charge you for that. So it is not recommended at all....

I lived at Walnut for 3 years, and went through 4 managers. One was good, 3 were horrible. All the "leasing agents" (several came and went) were always rude, and acted like you were bothering them when you walked into the office. Outdated appliances that ended up costing a lot when the Xcel bill came in. I had to wait 10 minutes for the shower to warm up. I had to adjust my oven 10 degrees just to make sure the food was cooked. I couldn't take a bath because water would leak into the downstairs apt. I had a constant running toilet. Maintenance unsuccessfully tried to fix it 4 times. I gave up and just kept my bathroom door closed. Every 3-4 weeks, management would enter all of our apts to check for "cleanliness" and other misc. reasons. I never felt like I had any privacy. I was unable to move for 3 years and I am so happy I was finally able to get out of there!! I was fooled by it being in such a nice neighborhood. Buyer beware. They will take you for every red cent, and not supply the goods. Oh, and the review of Luanne, she is no longer there either!

Through many research and constant searching for months, my boyfriend and I have finally found our first apartment that we absolutely love! Luanne Berry, the apartment manager here at Walnut Creek Apartments, helped us every step of the way! She was so informative and kind. She answered every question that we gave her with an knowledgeable explanation-You could tell that she really cared for us because of her persistence in helping us find an apartment that fits with our budget. Luanne really made this important time in our lives the best and easiest experience it could be! We really appreciate her professionalism as well as her enthusiasm. She really knew how to be personal, and give us realistic advice. We are so blessed to have her helping us! Thank you Luanne!:)

I have lived here many years.I think the maintence can do a better job keeping up the apts.When I moved in several years ago it took 3 month to get my apt ready.When I moved in the carpets look like iit had been raked and the apt had a poor paint job done through out.My apt smelt like mold.

Hi, Ive stay this apartment for 2 yrs. while u stay here is O.K but whenever u have to communicate with office staff, they are not professional at all and not supportive. Especially when u about to move out they are really but attitude toward u. I've been different apartment for a few and hear from my friends who living in different apartment, I bet u can fine so many better apartment beside Walnuts creek. My suggestion is to fine different one. Its based on my experience
