Property Ratings at Walnut Grove I II III
The apartments would be ok if the management actually cared about their residents! I’ve lived here over 3 years within those three years everything in my apartment has broken down or stopped working. I’ve put in a plethora of maintenance requests but yet and still nothing has been done smh. No matter how many times you call hud or make complaints it’s like you’ll forever be silenced until you say forget it and move out!
I have the best apt. in the building. It is easy to catch a bus and shopping as well as a park. They offer activities for children of all ages. They offer pet policy for those who may have a medical need for this. We have locked mail boxes and security. Wide parking places for all types of vehicles. Carpet and tile floors. Walk in closets. shower/bath bathrooms. Plenty of cabnet space in the kitchen. I have a lovely kitchen. Stove, fridge furnished. Covered enteryways, all at an affordable price. Thank You.
It's been awhile since I've lived in an apartment (I prefer townhouses), so I wasn't sure what to expect. This property is for no-low income renters. If you pay "full rent," it's set at the current market rate. Being in the Midwest, it's fairly cheap. As long as you inform them of any changes in your income and/or family size, you'll be fine. And unlike Public Housing, you don't have to contend with whether or not you've done enough community service hours to stay in good standing. So far here, my neighbors are quiet, the kids are friendly (and nosey, but we're new and they're naturally curious) and there's enough diversity here to field a UN delegation. The playground space is old and tiny, but there's enough green space that the kids regularly play (as the weather allows) some sort of pick up game on it than on the playground. The maintenance team is smaller than I expected for such a large property, but they move fairly quickly. Be wary of complainers. They aren't ever satisfied w anything and are very self entitled and since reality doesn't bend to anyone's whims, they can make any experience ugly. Keep your nose clean, pay your rent and you'll like it here, too.
