Property Ratings at Walnut Place
I enjoy living here. The rent is cheap and the staff is very helpful! Any time I reach out with questions or concerns. They always provide the help we need.
I have lived here for a little over a year. I have no complaints. I have recommended Haverkamp to several people. They have also been very happy as well.
It is a safe and welcoming place, all services are always up to date and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would like each person with a car to have their own locker in the parking lot since there are too many cars and sometimes we have to leave it very far away from our liking.
Pulling up to the apartments is not very welcoming with trash everywhere, but the inside of the apartments are absolutely beautiful. I love it. It’s so amazing. It feels like home already I can most definitely save myself here through long-term
Property Manager at Walnut Place, Responded To This Review
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We take pride in the cleanliness of our property and are working hard to maintain it. Don't hesitate to give our office a call if you would like to discuss anything further. Thank you!
Great property management!!! They are always so helpful and respectful! I have never had any issues when reaching out for assistance or concerns!
Don't like apartment living, especially living under people. Price increase and new lease when wasn't even in our place 2 months. Things always shorting out or stop working.
Staff is great and maintenence gets to work really quickly when there are any issues. All and all a great place to live, would recommend to any family member or friend.
The trash in the yard and taking others laundry out the wash machine or dryer to put yours in is a annoying occurrence but otherwise its been nice and quiet spacious apartment neighborhood keeps to themselves id recommend this place to others for sure.
My experience so far has been great. The only complaint I have is that the down stairs number bangs and slam things all night knowing the walls are thin n you can hear everything from the 2nd bedroom. Other than that everything been great
We've lived here since August. It's been a great home so far. Nice area of town. Nice people. Maintenance responds quickly and fixing anything that needs fixed!
I have put in work orders for the a/c leak and since move in, hasn’t been fixed. Residents are extremely loud and bringing Walmart carts leaving them, kids are tearing the property apart and making trash all over, people are being rough with the laundry washers and slowly breaking them and using other soaps rather than laundry soap which could ultimately break the washers making it difficult for the rest of the community wash their clothes. That’s where my concern is. Other than that, the leasing staff is very polite and positive. The drinks and snacks and other amenities are wonderful.
My apartment was absolutely disgusting when I moved in. Multiple large holes in the carpet, dust everywhere, peeling wood, bubbles linoleum, I was missing baseboards in both bathrooms. Also a hole in my door, which I assume was punched? There is no way Haverkamp walked through this apartment and thought it was good enough to release without doing maintenance on it.
Absolutely the worst experience. Spent 18 years traveling with the military many moves none as bad as this one. The apartment was not move in ready was very dirty and gross. Can’t wait to move out.
We like the apartment but have not had very good experience with other residents. Above us sounds like a constant WWE match and at times yelling at 12- 1 in the morning. Our first alarms go off every time some one takes a shower in one of our bathrooms. The inside of the building is clean and always nice cant say much for the out aide especially by the dumpsters. The staff is always friendly and have not had a bad experience there and prompt fixing when a request was put in. For the most part we do enjoy living here.
Pretty good. I love it in ames and the place I live tops it off. The staff was all very friendly when we were signing the lease and I was happy to find the matinance staff is just as friendly!
Walnut place it really great place to live at. There is no noise or disturbance from community. The improvement can be done in maintanence of the building.
My experience here has been good. The property managers are always happy to help and the maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely manner.
This is an awesome place to live! The management team is amazing and the maintenance, I cannot stress enough how awesome they are. They always respond to tickets and make sure everything actually works. They are courteous and speedy. They also give a really great heads up when they need to do their regular maintenance as well. It's an awesome place to live and I constantly recommend it to anyone looking for a rental.
