It may not have the flashy reputation of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but Sacramento embodies the very best of what makes California so unique. The city is well known for preserving its history, from early settlements like Sutter’s Fort to the gorgeous 19th century architecture of Old Sacramento to the artifacts in the Sacramento History Museum. Pop culture and the fine arts are well-represented, with local stages hosting symphony concerts and rock shows and galleries displaying works by the old masters as well as modern upstarts. The local restaurant scene is famous for its heavy emphasis on “farm to fork” principles, making it one of the best places to find fresh, locally sourced food.
Those living in Sacramento love to take advantage of the mild climate, whether that means biking the River Trail, taking the kids to Fairytale Town, or heading over to Sutter Health Park to catch a River Cats baseball game.

Property Ratings at Walnut Village
Trash, garbage, furniture, and broken appliances all over property. Roaches complete the filth
I would give 0 if I could do not expect the management to help you with anything and the whole place is infested with roaches which they do nothing to get rid of.
Great for the price! New washer and dryer in my new apartment! They are doing a lot of improvements here too like adding a putting green
I have lived here for over 9 years but it is time to move out. I have put up with the horrible neighborhood and super tiny apartment because the cost was affordable and they were super pet friendly but sadly that is no longer the case. But now that the rents have risen to market value I advise you to go somewhere that is actually worth that cost. These apartments are small, the bathroom is super inconvenient and since the new management took over inspections have been going on every few months. So expect to have people in your house quite frequently. The pool is always full of tons of people and seems to look gross and dirty most of the time. The upgrades they are doing are not fixing the actual problem of living in what is essentially North Highlights. The area surrounding the apartments is full of homeless people and they frequently sent up camps on Walnut right next to the apartments. They are always digging in our dumpsters or using it as a restroom. The gate does not keep them out at all. Also if you have kids I advise you pick a place about a block up Madison (Toward Garfield). These apartments are in the Twin Rivers school district (North Highlands) and it’s a terrible school district. But San Juan starts a block up and is much better. I strongly advise you to look somewhere else.
With a monthly payment of 765 and 30 flat rate for water, sewer, and garbage, it makes an impression right away . Beige and white walls welcome you , with linoleum floors into kitchen, then into the bathroom. Clean carpet for a living room and bedroom . Heres enough space for a washer and dryer too. Great, quiet neighbors, and no dog doo doo . ha

The apartment I live at it's near restaurants and department stores and a lot of other businesses but what I like about it is I feel like I'm back in a little town call Westwood located in the mountains of Lassen. It's quite and beauty nice this a lot of trees and that what I like most about them. The staff takes good care of the grounds and is very helpful too. the pool area as lounge chairs dining tables and a bbq bit.
I came to walnut village because I had a former co worker tell me that they had apartments available m so decided to give it a shot and ended up getting the apartment. Its quiet and not much goes on around here. Management is nice and friendly and they try their best to make sure your needs are fulfilled. Only reason it got a 4 star was because my A/C unit was broken for 2 months so my apartment became extremely hot during the hottest of days, it reached at one point 102 degrees in my apartment and I had no way to cool it down, but it did get fixed in the end so now my apartment feels great. Other than that, the last couple months that I've been here have been great. My neighbors our quiet and everyone just minds their own business, as well as being friendly.
I have been a resident here for 3 years and I love it!! It is right next to Target, shopping, patks, schools, freeway, ARC, etc... but yet tucked away off and away from any busy streets. It's gated with on site 24 hour security which I love!! Knowing I can pick up the phone is great!! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet home.
