I had a wonderful experience at Walton Crossings! I lived there for 2 1/2 years and never had a problem. Maintenance was very good at fixing things ASAP and management is great! The neighborhood was quiet and secure. My neighbors were friendly. I will miss this place!!!!

We have lived here for 3 years. The property is always beautiful and well maintained. The manager, Sharon is wonderful. She is walking around our streets to check if everything is ok. You will see if your garbage can is rolling around the street, she will pick it up and put it at your garage door. Also the maintenance guy, Mike is a hard worker. He has very fast hands. If you have any problems, they will help you quickly and get work done in an hour. We have great neighbors and great schools. We are very happy to live here!!

Great location, easy access to main routes. Community and homes are meticulously maintained and have great views. Office personnel are extremely helpful and easy to work with. Having a model to tour showed me how much room these town homes have that other places I looked at in the same price range did not. I know I made a good decision.

The Good: We loved the location and all of the natural surroundings this community offered. Close to Hwy 22 and Rte 66 and just a short drive from shopping in nearby towns without all the major traffic. Property manager was like-able and we always were able to reach her for questions. Property was newer so it was clean and in like-new condition when we moved in. I would even say that the one maintenance issue we had was responded to as soon as we were able to reach someone...weekend was tough, but finally got through. Plenty of sq footage for our family of 2. The Not-so-Good: The three level townhome layout left much out. There is no bathroom on main living level, and no closets beyond the food pantry on this level - none. We got tired of the hassle of having to run up or run down the stairs to use the loo or to store something - don't get me started on vacuuming and dragging that bugger up and down the lots and lots of carpeted stairs! The stove was an awful electric one where the coils were so bent that we could never seem to sit a pan on it straight. We just bought a separate portable cooktop to compensate...No icemaker in the refrigerator. For the amount of rent we pay - the appliances were downright section-8 style basic. No microwave or washer/dryer in the unit. And to top that off, if you wanted a ceiling light fixture in the bedroom you had to buy those yourself as well. These don't seem like big deal breakers when you are in a pinch to find somewhere to live...but now I wish I'd have kept looking. Now, for the overall community: There are mixed homeowner units in the community with an HOA - and which we felt not very apart of - despite the ancillary fees paid for...Forget the use of the clubhouse. Forget satellite. They say it's available, but our unit could not get approval for it. The property manager does not communicate any goings-on or events. There are no organized activities arranged by the property management at all - unless you count the maintenance deck staining event. And with that, in our experience, did not go well. Apparently the deck-staining notice blew off the door (no one's fault)...but we came home to our belongings being scattered about on the lawn without care of the line of site from the street. Overall our experience living here can be described as pleasant and quiet but not worthy of the rent/fees. We plan on moving at our lease expiration.
