Its modern comforts, accessibility, and urban environment are all alluring qualities of Downtown Madison. This neighborhood is home to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, as well as the school’s free attractions like the Botanical Garden and the Chazen Museum of Art. Henry Vilas Zoo offers complimentary admission too, just minutes from Downtown Madison luxury apartments.
A short distance from the zoo, residents are comforted by a wide range of cuisines – especially in Bay Creek. Bernie’s Beach Park is nearby, providing locals scenic views of Monona Bay. The Wisconsin State Capitol resides in Downtown Madison, in walking distance of museums and the Orpheum Theater that complete the art district. Across from the capitol is the Dane County’s Farmers Market, where locals gather to explore its fresh flower bouquets and produce.

Property Ratings at Washington Court Apartments
I have loved living here! The price is great for the size/amenities of the apartments, as well as the overall location. Short walk to campus, State St., Capitol, Lake Monona/Mendota, Arboretum, and small grocery stores. The tenants in the building are quiet/respectful, the hallways are always clean, and I have been very impressed with Keller Real Estate Group. They are professional and responsive to requests. Highly recommend this property and management group!
Dan is so nice and always handles requests/issues right away. You will often see him walking the property ensuring everything is in order. Him and his team are great! Washington Court is also one of the best bang for your buck places in downtown Madison.
Washington Court is a great place to live. It is walking distance to the Capitol, State Street, and all that downtown has to offer. The management team is very professional and efficient. It is in a safe area and they are fantastic apartments.
I have lived here as both a student and a young professional. The apartments are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and communicates well. The rooftop view of Madison is gorgeous. There is surface and underground parking available with a permit. They keep the driveway and parking lot cleared when it snows. Maintenance responds quickly if something needs to be fixed in your apartment. I have always felt safe. This is a great place to live because it is near downtown, UW-Madison campus, the Kohls center, and restaurants. Other tenants are friendly and respectful. There are 6 floors and a quick elevator. I really like living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, and clean living space near downtown Madison!
