Washington Way Apartments

I’ve been living here almost 2 years. The first year was great, but now things are going downhill. Rodents have entered the apartment. There’s a huge one that runs through the walls every so often. Maintenance will come out immediately, but it’ll be a spit & glue job every time. My upstairs neighbors caused a leak in my bedroom that made the plaster fall down in the middle of the night. The maintenance guy only spackled & spray painted over it & the other water spots. When he sanded down the spackle he left white sand all over everything in my room. It was even all over my clean bed!!! Neighbors tried breaking into car several times. I definitely don’t recommend this place.

Why it’s excellent because maintenance makes the difference they have a good team of men and the work gets done when it snow the men are on it the sidewalks and road and parking is cleared off.

Bad management, apartments are old. NOT LUXURY. BATHROOM SMALL!! kitchen cabinets old. My apartment has mode! VERY POOR PLACE TO LIVE:

These apartments are so nasty and infested with bugs and rats. The appliances there are horrible they break all the time. The rooms have breakable walls. The walls even grow mold because the pipes are always breaking. The service there is terrible you have to walk outside just to get service. You can never find a parking space because there's always someone in your spot. There are no lights in the bedrooms only the closets, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. The laundry room has horrible working machines that break all the time or just don't work overall. Hate it here never will ever come here or stay here again I advise you not to come here because it's just gross and a terrible apartment to live and enjoy your self in.

it's horrible, I don't even know what to say its a dump and the place is ghetto, lots of drugs and domestic violence

DON'T live here, idk what these other people are talking about but this place is drug infested, crime infested, ive had my car broken into multiple times, theirs no parking, the management sucks. you will not like this place please let me help you by saying...HEED MY WARNING DO NOT LIVE HERE, YOU'LL NEVER GET YOUR SECURITY DEPOSOT BACK NO MATTER WHAT, AND IF THEY DON'T LIKE YOU THEY WILL ADD ONTO THAT, I'VE NEVER BEEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE POLICE in my life, and i cannot believe how many times the cops are in this place, literally every day, during the summer its hot ppl are argueing and yelling the winter nothing is shoveled, also all buildings are worn down and old your foot can go through the floor.

Me & My Child & Mother Moved Here Almost A Year Ago , My Child Was A Mere Baby When We First Moved Here , At First It Seemed Like An Upgrade From Where We Lived Before , But Within A Few Months We Were TOTALLY WRONG ! We Had Several Issues With This Apartment From Leaks To Heating Its Been Horrible , Im Currently Pregnant ,& Have Health Issues , I Can Never Sleep With The Neighbors Making Noise 24/7 , We Have Filed Several Noise Complaints Nothing Was Done About It , They Try To Over Charge You For Everything When Your Apartment Does Not Meet What Was Advertised As Well As What Your Paying Your Money For , The Office Staff Is Horrible No Respect At All For Tenants , The Mantience Isnt There For " Emergency " Purposes Like Advertise They Have A " We Will Do It " When We Feel Like It Attitude , Several Tenats That Used To Reside Here Have Stated There Was Mold In Their Apartment We Are Out Of Here Before We FIND it In Ours , If You Work Hard For Your Money , DO NOT SPEND IT TO MOVE HERE ,

I been living in this apartment complex for three years now. At first the experience was great being that we moved in sometime in October. It then took a turn for the worse. When it snows, the complex is shoveled horribly if it's even shoveled at all. Maintenance is very slow when it comes to fixing an issue within the apartment. The water mains break or have issues about twice a year. Don't get me wrong it's a good price for the size of the apartment but in my opinion it isn't worth it. I'm moving out VERY soon and I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone unless you can't afford anything that is the apartment size. The walls are thin and and chip off easily. When it first begins to get cold, you basically have to deal with the temperature or get a portable heater because the office controls your heat. I was rubbed off from this apartment when I had my premature baby back in 2014 and had to bring him home to a cold apartment which isn't right. My opinion is to go somewhere else where they will actually care about their renters.

I must agree like others I love it here, I have just renewed my lease again, can not believe its been 3 yrs.!!.. My apartment is on the Washington lake!!!... I get the view of the lake every time I look out my window or sit on my patio .. I feel extremely safe here as I am single and that is very important to me.. I could not ask more out of the maintenance men if I wanted to, they have a 24/7 team on site and believe me they replace or fix anything that needs to be taken care of and they do it in an extremely timely manner I usually hear a knock on my door within 30 minutes truth being told.. And let me say the office staff are simply wonderful,they work with you, let me leave it at that! But I must say I've never encountered a better group of women because they really do care about the residents.. we have plenty of parking.. Trash is never overflowing in the dumpsters because trash company comes 2 times a week this means our grounds here are always maintained and clean not to say a professional landscaping company comes every Monday and does the entire complex, including cleans the first floor patios off, I love that! I can't say enough about apartment complex.. I will miss Washington Way Apartments when I move to Florida...Thanks for a great experience!!..

I love my apartment its a very nice area the kitchen is beautiful its peaceful. I have alot of closet space my bedrooms are a good size also I have a Den that I Love its just great. I would recommend it to any one thats looking for a wonderful apartment.

So I moved to NJ from Pa almost one year ago. My original plan was not to move here but my sister lived here and needed financial help due to losing her job. So I packed up my things and moved in. What an adventure it has been. All good! This is a really nice apartment! From the grounds to the actual unit.. Lots of space and most important quiet!

My family and I moved to Washington Way Apartments nearly a year ago in November, and we are very happy here! We no longer have the responsibilities and stress of a house that we could no longer afford to maintain; if something breaks, a call to Maintenance is all that's needed, and they are usually quick to come and fix the problem. No more trash days, just bring it out to the dumpsters and it's picked up twice during the week! Most utilities are included, too, which also helps us to save some money. So far we have not had any issues living here. The area is safe and well-lit, and the few times I've had to walk around at night, I was not concerned about my safety. We have great neighbors in our building and everyone around is pretty friendly. There is also ample parking. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. Some of the rooms here (our living room and master bedroom)are actually bigger than we had in our house! Our unit has a large pantry in the kitchen, a large coat closet and in the master bedroom my husband and I each have a walk-in closet! The closets in the children's room are also spacious. Pets are welcomed here and our cat took to our new home right away. Our boys love to play at the playground and at the basketball court, and in the winter they had a blast sledding down the hill! Maintenance was great clearing out the snow, also. There is a pool which we did not use this summer, if only becasue of our crazy schedule this year, and you do have to pay a membership fee. There is also a fitness center but their hours do not work for my schedule, so I cannot comment on it. We are also right across from a 1/4 mile walking path, which a lot of people use daily. I use the laundry center regularly and recommend it. The cost to wash and dry your clothes rivals most local laundromats, and if there is an issue with any of the machines it is usually taken care of right away. The only issue there that I had this summer was doing my laundry in the heat! It is not air-conditioned! The complex is right in the middle of everything, close to the Deptford Mall and the new Gloucester Premium Outlets as well as a few supermarkets and restaurants of all kinds. We just renewed our lease and we plan on staying here for a long time…we really like it here and are happy to call Washington Way our home.

we have lived here for over 12 years. its not easy being a senior and living on a fixed income but thanks to management and the maintenance crew we have been able to enjoy not our apartment but "OUR HOME". the grounds are kept beautiful and its a pleasure to stroll around the neighborhood. everyone here is courteous and friendly and although it is a wide open space you are still afforded your privacy. its a community where people look out for people and im grateful for everything and every opportunity we have here at washington way. the apartments are large and can accommodate our entire family (16) for a barbecue or just an old fashioned italian sunday dinner.would i recommend washington way to anyone, I sure would!!

These apartments are outdated and in poor repair. The roof leaks, the room air conditioners are ancient and moldy and the maintence department is nonexistent. Don't believe the luxury apartment sign these are anything but and is full of drug dealers.

Talk about curb appeal, the apartments has beautiful kept landscape all year long. The inside apartments are very spacious and full of closet space, which is a plus in apartments. The dining and living space great for large family gatherings. Can't forget the nice side of the bedrooms. Bonus if outside person, balcony or patio, pool that is rated 5 stars for over 5 years in the south jersey area. Must see to believe.

I have lived here for about 4 years. The plumbing in the building is bad. The water is either scorching hot or very cold and there a constant leaks. They charge for "reserved" parking in spaces that were free before. The staff is not very knowledgeable about their own policies. They charge for yearly inspection of your unit which entails twp to check your smoke detector for $70. They never notified when they enter your apartment when you are not home. I liked the space. I am moving as soon as my lease is up.

It's a quiet neighborhood.the neighbors are friendly it has a gym and tennis court.walking trail. Swimming pool its near the mall and other stores.

I've been living here for about 2 years now and haven't had any major problems since I've moved in. The staff is great and the area itself is beautiful. On-site maintenance is a plus and they're activities for the community really brings people together. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends/family/acquaintances. ?

I am very happy that i chose washington way as my home. I knew as soon as i met Patty in the office and she gave me a tour and just how nice everyone was and well kept all the grounds were that this was the place for me! I recommended 2 people one being my brother who also felt right at home when he moved here, and a client that is very happy also. Its like a little community and everyone is friendly. The apts are very spacious and the upgrades are AMAZING! I recommend living here to anyone looking for a quiet, spacious apartment, that feels more like a home then an apartment. Ask for Patty!!!

The maintenance staff are allowed to enter into your apartment without your knowledge or permission (I actually set up a security camera to prove it), the office staffs are incredibly rude, unprofessional and take it upon themselves to steal your money. I was moving out and they refused to return my security deposit even though all the paperwork stated that the entire amount should be returned. Corporate will not return calls and thus encourage stealing. My mail and packages were stolen while living here and I had to set up a PO box. This is a terrible place to live!! The office staffs lie, cheat and steal. I was a good tenant, always paid rent on time, never made any trouble and this is how I was treated. If you are an honest and quality person, you will HATE this place!

Apartments are not Luxury as they are described in advertisements.On the negative side : Appliances and kitchen bathroom cabinets are worn and appear to date back to early 80's. There are "pipes" and "electrical boxes" on walls where you would expect none to be seen, front doors are old and worn . locks on windows are not all functional. On the plus side : room size is above average, carpeting is clean, private entrances with small patio or balcony depending on 1st /2nd floor. Neighborhood appears to be residential and quiet, rent is very reasonable with utilities included. Washington way community is a mix of young , mid aged and senior renter. Parking is good if you are on an interior apartment if you are on Barnsboro road side you have to walk from parking lot around to your apartment. Maintenance is very prompt and they fix what you ask of them.
