Waterford Market Apartments

We have been living here for over a year, we just renewed our lease and there is not a single bad thing that I can think of to say about this place. I love the location, the community, and the apartment itself is gorgeous!!

The apts of Waterford are very satisfying. The swimming, the weight room is to die for. This complex has every machine for a hell of a workout. The venting machines have the best quality products when you need something fast. This complex is near to and is in the middle of everything. If possible I hope to go back and live there. I called this place my HOME. I felt safe and my car was protected in the foor garage. So convenience for me. No brother from anyone. Thank you Waterford. Dont forget the Market next door. Great product to buy and great food. Never had an issue with the washer and dryer. It is pet friendly and yes the dogs can be noisy but very safe when strangers come. I will be back. Thank you Josh.

The building itself is nice, the management and neighbors are most definitely NOT. We moved in to our apartment July 2021, and had been plagued with issues since move in. - The pest control was completely useless, we found centipedes everywhere, and even requesting pest control took over 2 weeks for someone to actually come out and spray pesticide. Even after a treatment, there are bugs all over the place. - One of the apartments above ours dumps bleach water off their balcony every Saturday, which ends up covering everything on our patio with a mixture of bleach and water. We called and emailed about it multiple times, and the most that management could do was call our upstairs neighbors and ask them to stop. As expected, it did not stop and we still can't use our patio every Saturday since its covered in bleach water. - the neighbors directly above us allow their kids to play basketball directly above our office. This started almost immediately after we moved in, and management has done nothing to stop it. At some point, you gotta start levying fines or penalties to stop stuff like that - Trash pickup is spotty. Most weeks its fine, but then other days, and entire floor is missed for pickup, and we get notes saying we can't leave our trash bins out, even though it was never picked up. - Our shower had a crack in the base, which led to water soaking in and rotting the walls. It took almost 6 weeks for it to be fixed, which meant that baseboards and nails were exposed and resulted in an injury to our kitten. Because of all these issues, we started looking for a house to move into probably a month after we moved in, and we were able to close on one in February 2022. Management still had the balls to tell us that we'd have to pay an early termination fee, even though we were moving because of all the issues that they failed to address, claiming that they did their "due diligence" to rectify all of the issues. If you're considering living here, RUN AWAY NOW. I've rented apartments all over Dallas over the last 10 years, and this was easily the worst experience of all of them. All of the good reviews are because they offer points to redeem for gift cards if you leave them a 5 star review.

Loving the community events and how responsive the office and maintenance staff are.

This guy gets everything done so quick. He's the best at his job. Big improvement from the previous maintenance team from when I first lived here.

Just a great place to live, aesthetically attractive, location is great, and the staff is professional, friendly and fun!!

it is a dream to live here! attentive and good people. always impeccable, looking for interaction between the community, they do a lot of programming of integration activities.

The manintenance dept always very quick to repsonse to any issues this building comes across. very professional.

I would recommend Waterford Market because it is very nice and affordable.

The free coffee is very nice and so is the staff.

The pricing is too high for the quality you get in return. If it was cleaner and safer in here it might be worth the price, but with the square footage the pricing seems a little high once you include all of the extra fees.

I wish tenants would take a little more pride in the place that we live, clean up after themselves, and be respectful of neighbors. I guess that goes along with apartment dwelling.

The only reason I would hesitate to recommend this apartment to a friend or family is the noise level. Especially living right next to the pool it is extremely noisy. Other than that I don't have many complaints, most issues I have come to find are taken care of my staff.

The Management will not return emails or phone calls. Daughter and I look at a few 2 weeks ago. Talked with Resident Service manager to get full details. Daughter really liked the apartments. Management said they would call her back with answers to her questions. She is still waiting. And while she was getting information, a couple was returning keys due to checking out. As we were walking to car they drove up next to us and said by no means rent here. Sad that such a nice looking apartment has such bad management

Great community and staff. The trash policy is a bit odd and takes some planning and can be a big issue but if you plan properly and remember, it can be mitigated.

Only having 1 key fob per apartment not a good thing at all , also same for parking , yes it' a one bedroom but people have other half' like wife' & significant others.

We are having a problem with its inadequate hot water. We are not able to even get a half tub of hot water for the soaking tub. Nor are we able to both take showers within 30 minutes of one another and have hot water.

I like the ideal it is nice and clean, and price descent. I must say the staff is pretty rude and very unprofessional.

Great environment. Only downsides were parking situation and walkability immediately outside the front door.

Urine colored stains all through the bathroom upon move in. I walked it and checked a week prior to make sure management was aware and that it would be fixed. Naturally I got the "yes, the apartment hasn't been made ready yet but it will be taken care of." Brought it up again at move in, and again a week later. Eventually I was told to deal with it, they're "afraid to stain the tile". I think most people would rather a bleach stain than a yellow urine colored stain, but that's just me... and literally every single other person that has seen the disgusting stains. They better hope someone leases sight unseen because there is absolutely no way anybody would lease this knowing that these stains will not be fixed. Awful management, awful responses, awful everything. Please don't move here.
