Property Ratings at Waterford Pointe
In my experience, this complex will nickle and dime you for every possible thing. I only lived there for 2 years and they raised my rent significantly both years despite not improving anything else about complex. In fact, there was construction outside of the only entrance to the complex for the full 2 years I was there yet they still felt the need to raise the rent with little to no justification. I also experienced poor communication with management. I typically had to call/email multiple times to get an answer from them about any kind of issue. For example, when I moved out, they charged me for not cleaning out my fridge and when I tried to email them asking about how to pay the bill, they never responded and instead sent it to a debt collection service. I would personally not recommend this complex to anyone.

This place is fairly cheap. Cheapest area in Hilliard/Galloway location. However, the staff SUCKS at communicating. They only care for about getting money then actually caring for their tenants. I put in a work order a while ago and was never notified of someone coming to fix my bathtub. My sister advised me maintenance man told her he came to fix it but he was scared at first cause my dogs were out of their cage roaming around their home. I was never given a 24 hour notice when that happened. When I moved in my bathroom sink had duct tape on it and maintenance man said it’s fine it’s not leaking I don’t need to fix it. Walk through was done and was stated it be fixed. Few months later, still not fixed. I put in work order. I got a call today that maintenance couldn’t come in because once again my dogs were not in their cage. I asked the man where my 24 hour notice was because I was not provided this, he could not answer it. I do not like the fact that my apartment, my home, is being entered in or attempt to being entered in without providing me any notice! If living in Columbus was not so expensive I so would not be living her anymore due to staff being very unprofessional and rude. Maintenance dude was disrespectful from the beginning of meeting him.
A Horrible place to stay. Management is horrible!! The owners need to fire the managers in the office. Everything will be fine before you sign the lease. Then all hell breaks loose.
This place is a horrible place to stay! Unprofessional staff on all levels. Think twice before staying here. They start off nice until you sign the lease!!!
The rent was reasonable but make sure if there is anything wrong with the apartment including no shower rod or blinds messed up when you move in that you document this because they will try to charge you for it at the end of the lease because in my case they never fixed it and then tried to say it was my fault and I had to pay for it. Also make sure you replace the stove burner spill pieces because if their the least little bit used they will charge you for new ones when you move out.
The property management is extremely unprofessional! I spoke with Catelyn the manager about a very minor issue I was having and she told me to ‘look at your lease’.
We have been here for about 2 years and the staff has been pretty great. Timely responses and smiling faces at all times. Easy access to shopping, interstate and an abundance of restaurants. Highly recommend for young couples and families.
I have enjoyed living in the apartments for the last three years, the Maintence guy so great and the rest of the staff are so helpful.
I enjoy living here. The location is nice, easy access to the freeway, plenty of shopping nearby, and just far enough for some quiet. Staff is nice and easy to get a hold of if needed. Walk-in closets are amazing and walking distance to Handel's Ice Cream! I've been living here for over a year and I have a 2 bedroom upstairs enclosed apartment.
Lived here for over a year now, office staff is responsive, and inexpensive for an apartment of its size.
Rude stuff. Bad management, you can find a better place to live.
Nice place to live and safe friendly neighborhood. love the pound area, for the most part it’s a quiet place. The ladies in the rental office are very nice, polite, always helpful and professional.
This place is a dump. Go anywhere else this place is horrible, the apartment quality is not what you see on the tour. Management is very RUDE and Nasty speaking. If your car pass is not property display they have a company that will tow your car. Dont envite any friends or family because their car will be gone too. Move somewhere else this place is not worth the stress you will have. There is nothing worst than leaving in a place where you feel like you need to fix your apt problems yourself because the will not do anything to fix it. Again the management are terrible, no customer service there.
Has been a very nice place to live with courteous and professional staff. I’m treated like part of the “family” with so much kindness. Any assistance or maintenance I’ve needed has been handled quickly and efficiently. It’s a very quiet and clean place. Great personal experience! Dt
My husband and I and our three children have live here for two years and have just renewed our lease for the next 12 months. We love living here! Its open concept plan makes it pretty spacious and the master bedroom closet is huge! The lamp posts scattered around the apartment complex makes it pretty well lit when its dark out, which makes me feel a sense of security, especially when I have my babies with me, and are bringing them inside from the parking lot. Also, I am in love with the parking permits, you'll be able to know if someone is a resident here or if someone is just creeping around. (Which is huge for me because I'm a protective mommy!!) They have a visitor parking for your friends and family, so don't worry. But overall, I do enjoy living here at Waterford!
The staff is really nice, if you have a problem they make sure everything is fixed within a day or two. Master bedrooms closet is as big as the normal sized bedroom. No complaints so far.
This place is a NIGHTMARE. By far the worst apartment experience I have ever had. Management is rude, and the quality of the apartment I received was AWFUL. Peeling paint in multiple rooms that they never fixed over 12 months, cracked walls, huge dings in the drywall, electrical outlets falling out of the walls. The cable outlets didn’t even have junction boxes and were fastened with the covers and drywall screws. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. My neighbors car was stolen the first week he moved in (feel free to look It up on the crime maps). Then upon move out they tried to charge me for oven drip trays that I had replaced with NEW parts. Add that to the fact that the pool was shut down by the health inspector, and was completely green about halfway through the summer. This complex is a dump, AVOID ANYTHING BY SPRING PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!
I moved out 1.5 years ago. I lived here I think for 3 years. I mean you get what you pay for. It’s cheaper than all the new ones they’re building these days. But management was awful. Never the same people in the office. The staff switched over probly atlest 5 times, no exaggeration. So you never knew who you could talk to. Anyways. I moved out bc I was single girl and came back from vacation to find my door busted in and valuables were taken from my apt. Thankfully they didn’t do any damage. Just to my safety and taking treasures that I can’t even think about bc I’ll be sick. I’m writing this bc my neighbor, an old Chinese man and his wife, were the only ones who knew I would be gone and I told them to watch out for my apt(jokingly) bc I had never really felt unsafe there. My neighbors saw my door busted in, they went and told the office staff and the office did nothing and when I asked them about why they didn’t do anything, they claimed they never knew. Which I unfortunately believe was BS... I had just signed a lease before vacation to begin about a month later. They wouldn’t let me out of it. They made me pay 1000$ to get out of there!!! If being broken into isn’t enough, they made it worse!!! Come to find out, there had been other break ins in the apt complex as well. Overall, this is not a good place to live. For so many reasons. Drugs also. They are all over there. After some of my own investigation along with my neighbors, we figured out it was my neighbor that most likely had to do w the break in bc of drugs. She was actually arrested before I even got back from vacation. But we could never prove it was him who robbed me. Ugh. Makes me sick still. Anyways. Like I said, you get what you pay for. But I finally got around to writing this review. I would highly NOT recommend this place
I recently moved to Waterford Pointe and my experience has been positive so far. They were very quick about addressing some minor issues with the unit when I first moved. The staff have been generally helpful in answering questions and addressing issues.
I have stayed at this property for 2 years this upcoming summer. This winter has been the worst of the two with the ice storm. I stopped in the office to ask if they salt the walkways to the apartments in the Breezeway area...I was informed that they do not and that there was salt at the leasing office and a complentary shovel. I informed the wonderful (sarcastically said) women that I am pregnant and asked what happens if I fall while trying to do so...or fall on the sheet of ice if I do not tend to it, she said “well you should have insurance” lol smh if that doesn’t say enough about the property idk what else does. Needless to say I will not be a tenant here come leasing season and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Terrible customer service and they don’t keep up with the property.
This place is a dump! Take a good look at the gutters that are filled and leaking, the down spouts that are clogged, and the shutters that are falling off. They don’t maintain the property nor keep up with the declining apartments. There are windows you can’t even see outside from the inside. Don’t let the model fool you, this isn’t a great place to live. The pool is gross and the furniture around it is never replaced and is broken or missing. They only have one table and not enough seating for the residents. On top of that, if you have a visitor and they don’t park in the visitor lot (which is often full) they tow you without warning. Seriously, if you don’t have a parking permit, consider your car gone. They have a towing company on hire that relishes getting vehicles like popping candy! Find somewhere else to live….you can do better.
This apartments complex is not a bad place to live. I have had my refrigerator and dishwasher stop working and called the office, they sent someone out the same day and fixed the issue or replaced the appliance all together. I have not had any issues with staff being rude, they are very accommodating. My only issues are that renters do not clean up after their pets, even though they have waist bags and trash can posts on the property; and the apartment complex could do a better job of keeping the outside appearance nice around the dumpster areas. Overall I have enjoyed my stay with Waterford Pointe Apartments!
The lake view is great, the neighbors are amazing, and the memories we have with our son feeding our local ducks are priceless. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
