Thank you for your kind review. It is appreciated. Water Gap is happy that you are happy.
I've lived here for several years. It's pet friendly which is nice because i have two of my own. The neighbors are nice, and the property manager and maintenance staff are prompt and professional. It's a nice, quiet place to live.

Thank you for your kind words. We thank you for being a great neighbor during some uncertain times for all of us these past few years but are glad you have made Water Gap Village your home. Thanks again!
I believe there should be a privacy in your rent issues. The Management for the complex will have everyone in your business. She talks too much and when it came to getting something fix she would care less. Close to Jersey weather, but winters are bad. Parking sucks! Picnic area and play area for kids is nice in pictures, but was not usable. Old!
I've been here about a year now this place is wonderful. The property manager Benita is extremely friendly and helpful the maintenance men are also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend living here to anyone interested. It's not just an apartment this is a home
My friend was a resident here. I would come over and visit and stay some nights since I worked decently close. There was never any parking for the people renting out these areas. I would park by the office since I was a visitor but weekends especially cars would appear out of no where. There's been multiple accidents due to the fact that the lot it self is not great. The washer/dryers were broke 24/7. Appliances would always break due to the lack of efficient parts and the lack of effort put into fixing things. The lady who runs the place is not responsive to emails unless it's about payments. The maintenance workers are nice and helpful, they just work under an unreliable woman. Not the place worth going to. The winter is the worst also. The parking lot is always covered with black ice and the side walks are rarely maintained. You will fall and the residential manager will NOT help you or other tenants. She does not care about the complex or your safety, just your rent money every month.
Odor is one's perspective. It isn't a good enough reason to warrant the tearing up of the carpets. Logically one would expect a house to smell if there isn't any upkeep. After I moved out, there were some hot days at the end of June, early July. Besides, your management does not air out any townhouses or cleans them after residents move out so I do not want to even hear about any blame being put on me. The negligence on the upkeep of the townhouse started even before I moved in due to the prior resident putting out his cigarettes on the carpet. What was even worse is that you allowed this individual to stay there and ruin the place. My fiancee had to keep up with our townhouse every single day because the smell lingered the whole time we lived there. If it wasn't for my fiancee, we would've had to deal with that disgusting cigarette smell. Using a 3 month old puppy, who wasn't fully trained, as a scapegoat is disgusting and sad on the part of the management. His accidents were cleaned and taken care of in a timely manner. My townhouse never, EVER smelled and I have family and friends who can verify this information. If anyone is to blame, it is the management who did a cheap/poor job at cleaning the townhouse and renovating it before I moved in. I hope that future applicants (with pets) can view my story and avoid a similar situation so that they can avoid having money stolen from them.
I recently was screwed over by this facility when it came to the return of my security deposit. I was deducted $1000 of my $1030 deposit for carpeting repair. I left my townhouse in a good standing condition aside from the small area where there was damage because of my cat. Otherwise whenever my puppy had an accident, I immediately cleaned it so that there wouldn't be staining. The inspection report claimed to be staining, but who conducts an inspection of the underside of the carpet? What logical sense does it make to tear up the carpet without intending to remove it anyways? When I tried asking the owner of the complex, Regina, she could not give me a straightforward answer and had an attitude. The incompetence that runs this establishment is below par and charge way too much for living. You could definitely find a much better establishment for living elsewhere in the area for much less. I'd advise people to save their money and look elsewhere.

Matthew, It is not the intent to deduct from the Security Deposit of a resident upon vacating our apartments. However, it is clearly outlined and executed by all resident's at time of their Lease Agreement signing what one may be charged if item(s) are in need of repair and/or replacement due to the resident's action or lack of action. With that being said, the logical step or reason for lifting the carpet was due to the offensive odor during the site inspection. The carpet was new when you took occupancy. Proof is in the pictures.
I lived there for two years. There is constant flooding in front of some of the apartments. When you bring it up there is nothing they can do because the parent company wont do anything about it. Pit bulls are let in because the office manager doesn't know what a Pit really is. The Office manager will talk about you behind your back to other residents even telling them that you haven't paid rent! Very unprofessional. This run down place needs a lot of upgrading and even the high prices for the newly renovated apartments are not worth it and you could pay a little more and go live around the corner in an apartment that has a washer/dryer.
Decent apartment with a good management office! Really enjoy living here however my biggest problem with this complex is the laundry facilities provided! Management doesn't take responsibility for facilities and leaves it up to outside company to take care of machines which most of the time don't work or properly clean the clothes! Wish they would get another company to update the machines!
My Wife and son live in a two story town home in Delaware Water Gap Pa. I live in a pleasant community which is very peaceful and quiet. Our neighbors are nice people who wave and say hello to anyone walking by in our community. The apartment is supplied with your major appliances including dish washer. The only thing I wish it had inside the apartment is a little washer and dryer, but there is multiple laundry centers in the community. The property is well kept and the maintenance can regularly be seen around the grounds. They are great people and have no problem coming to fix a problem and they always have a smile. The Manager of the community is very nice and helpful also. I live in a two bedroom, one and half baths which is very good, one full private bath upstairs and the half bath downstairs which can be used by guests. A lovely front and back patio area where you can sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and great BBQ . I enjoy living here. Thank You
I happen to be very happy with my lovely townhouse at Water Gap Village. It is very peaceful and quiet, with very well kept grounds and very nice and friendly neighbors. I would highly recommend this lovely village to friends and family and anyone who is looking for a lovely and reasonably priced place to live.
I live in a two story town home in Delaware Water Gap Pa. I live in a lovely community which is very peaceful and quiet. My neighbors are good hard working people who wave and say hello to anyone walking by in our community. We are pet friendly and we do not allow unruly dogs to roam around. The townhome is equipped with everything including dish washer. The property is well kept and the maintenance can regularly be seen around the grounds tinkering and doing what they do best, and they always have a smile. I live in a two bedroom, one and one half baths which is very convenient, one full private bath upstairs and the half bath downstairs which can be used by guests. A lovely front and back patio area where you can sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather and watch the lovely hummingbirds as they tinker about. . I wouldn't change a thing about my home because I absolutely love it.
They charge $260 application fee with is about $200 over most places. If you change your mind the same day you WON'T get your money back even if they didn't start the application process yet.
I submitted a question over two weeks ago and have not received a reply.

What was your question? I've answered all emails that were received. If by chance they were sent I may not have gotten them. Please have questions submitted again.
I called to ask a question. A man answered the phone and was very rude.
Looking forward to moving into the Watergap Village apartments this Summer. The place seems like a nice community and it is in close proximity to my work & Stroudsburg. The staff here seems very nice and this seems like an ideal place for my girlfriend and I. Should be clean, quiet, and an extremely nice place to live in.
